I called these guys because I'm 5 months pregnant and miserable with an AC that refused to get cool! Most places had a 2 week wait time, but when I explained my situation to Fred, he rearranged some things and was able to squeeze me in for the next day. And now I know why all the other yelpers gave these guys great reviews!! Fred and Max and their other gentleman came promptly in the morning and worked non-stop all day. They are so nice and very honest and thorough about the work that needs to be done, and make an effort to explain any problems in a way that's easy to understand. They also brought out their plumber Ken when I mentioned I had a toilet that needed to install, and he was just as awesome. Ken measured everything first and discovered my husband and I had bought the wrong size toilet, so he was kind enough to go to another job and come back afterwards so we could go make an exchange and get the right one. In the end we had our outside unit and indoor thermostat and heater replaced, along with the toilet, all for a very fair price - a steal, really.. I've had 3 years of horrible luck with maintenance companies, so this was a wonderful, welcome surprise! Can't thank these guys enough :)

Last Wednesday my A/C stopped working right when it was about to get very hot. I called a couple of shops and Fred was able to come the next morning. When he first arrived, it appeared the capacitor that starts the fan was broken. After that was replaced, the unit started working. However, that evening when it got really hot we noticed the A/C was not cooling adequately. At that point, I suspected the refrigerant was low. So I called him again. To my surprise, he was able to come back that night at 8 pm to fix my system. It obviously was a long day for him and I appreciate him putting the customer first.

Without a doubt you need to call Fred at American Ace Plumbing for your air conditioning repair, and I suspect any plumbing issues you have as well. Call Fred on the number listed here on Yelp and Fred will set an appointment with you and ask you to text him your address for the appointment. He'll set a 2 hour window and come squarely within the time promised. He's friendly, and smart, and best of all, he knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He's amazing. He came to my house after I told him what was going on with my air conditioning. I highly suspect he was sussing out what the problem was before he even came in the door. He quickly and efficiently figured out what was wrong and let me know right away. A service call will cost you $78, FYI. Fred is what you want in a repair person. He's the best.

Great service with very considerate customer service. They diagnosed the problem quickly and explained our options. They fixed our dual capacitor on our AC unit. It was relatively cheap to fix and they did it with ease. Definitely a respectable company with great work ethic. They are not trying to rip you off. Just quantity customer service to fix our problem. Will recommend to all our friends. Great work!

Called this morning hoping to get same day service for a furnace leak. Fred was friendly, kind, and professional on the phone. Quoted me a fair price, and that's exactly what I paid. So the AC decided to act up during all of this summer heat! So what were we to do? We asked Neighbors for recommendations, I looked online, and in the end we landed on Fred here with American Ace. I'm so glad that we did!

Fred and his assistant showed up promptly at 8 AM (he gave me a window between 8 and 10, but I shared with him via text that I had a meeting at 830... No problem was his reply). They worked on the AC system for about 35 minutes insuring that everything was cleaned and in proper working order. They really went above and beyond! Best part, is that they cleaned up their entire mess (unlike a lot of other AC repair folks that we've had in the past).

If you're looking for a solid individual, that not only says what they're going to do but then actually does it then look no further... Fred is your guy! Oh, and he stayed within his estimate $ figure as well (sometimes this is the biggest pain point, right?!?)

I now personally understand all these great Yelp reviews! Max and Fred were on time, friendly, and knowledgeable about Heating and Air Conditioning. They checked everything out, increased the cold air flow with some duct patching in the attic, made some suggestions for the future, and rechecked the air flow before they left. All for a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend this company...and these two young men.

No answering machines and able to make an appointment within 24 hours when my air conditioner died during one of the recent heat waves. The technician was knowledgeable, arrived EARLY and fixed our A/C on the spot. They will be the first people we call next time.
