Sink clogged on Saturday before next day party after Bill Howe allegedly fixed earlier that month. Called BH - never called me back! Local guy in San Marcos we've used multiple times for many big jobs never called back. A couple others who claimed 24/7 service said they could come Monday.
But Fred came first thing next morning and did a thorough job at a very fair price and offered advice to stop from happening again
The owner shows up 12 hours after you call on a weekend? Now that's service! Highly recommend!

They just left my house after doing an efficient and excellent job at a great price! They explained, in very understandable terms, why are heater did not work any longer. It needed a new circuit board. Rather than just ordering the part, they went out and got one, and came back and installed it.
We had some questions about preventative maintenance. They explained what we could do on our own, and said the best time for the preventative maintenance in our system is next spring rather than them getting paid right now.
I will DEFINITELY have them back for PMs as well as any plumbing/HVAC issues in the future!

From the heavy rains yesterday I had water backing up from newly installed drain under newly installed concrete. I looked on Yelp and found American Ace Plumbing and gave them a call. Within 5-10 minutes I received call from Fred and once I told him my dilemma he gave his price for a camera inspection and I said can you come today. He was available and came shortly after our call ended. He used his camera and found a small rock but it wasn't until he ran the snake in and pulled out a plastic bag that was the main blockage. Once those were cleared the drain worked great. He was patient and explained what he was doing and was very professional to work with. I would highly recommend Fred to take care of your plumbing needs.

I needed to address a problem with our furnace blower. It wasn't starting up to blow the air. The furnace was flaming up and heating, but not blowing. I searched on yelp for someone who could help and randomly selected American Ace because they seemed close and had good yelp reviews. I was a little discouraged that they didn't answer the phone, but I left a message anyway. About one minute later, Fred called and said he was close to my area and would stop by ""soon."" He and his assistant arrived about ten minutes later. No nonsense, he diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor that needed replacing). They had the part, he replaced it, tested it and worked great. For a fair price I had my heat back on within a half hour after I called!

I had a very pleasant experience with this company. We had our 15 year old A.C. Condenser go out on us during a major heat wave here in San Diego. I called Fred the owner here and with in 30 minutes he was at my house with suggestions, which were half the price that other plumbing companies were quoting.

Within a few days he had his crew here replacing the condenser with a brand new one and it is working great.

I felt very comfortable with his crew here in the house. They were very kind and clean. The owner asked that I wait a week to pay him so that I can be really sure the unit was working the way I wanted it too. I call that old fashion customer service. He really wanted to be sure I was happy as a customer.

A few days later I needed a plumber to look at a leak in the first floor ceiling. I called the owner here, Fred, and within 4 hours of my call he was here and fixing the issue for a very reasonable price.

I highly recommend this company. You definitely benefit from that small town feeling when you work with these guys!

Great service. Prompt, efficient, friendly with very fair pricing. It's great to have a local company that you can depend on for great service, especially when the weather can be a little demanding. Highly recommended and will definitely get a call back should we require any HVAC attention.
