OK so I responded to their letter solicitation for a ""tune up"" for our system since our system is over 20 years old and it was making some noises. We replaced the air conditioning unit several years ago, because it went out during one very hot summer. Well, don't you know - the air conditioning unit is not compatible with the system in the attic and all of it is not up to par with what is ""code"" now. Grr. Immediately, my mind is thinking this is a scam and why did I respond to the letter, but as we talked with George and Hank, I felt much more at ease and decided to pull the trigger while I was still working and not retired. Besides during the pandemic, why not upgrade and add a unit that helps with keeping the virus load down?
The install started almost immediately the following day and the entire process was completed within two days. From taking the old unit out and installing the new unit was done very professionally and with great care to our needs - as, with most of us, we are working from home during this Omicron surge. Scott and Trinadad were particularly attentive during the final day to make certain that we were more than satisfied with the results. The level of detail in their work was terrific.
Look, I am not thrilled that I had unexpected expense (that if life, right?), but overall, I'm convinced that the purchase was worth it, and the service was exceptional.

My personal technician, Erik Garcia is AMAZING. He is very professional as soon as you meet him. At the first greeting, he identified himself, his uniform was very neat and he followed all safety/Covid protocols.
He took the time to explain what was going on and made sure I understood what he was doing. He also explained the inspection and showed the before and after preventative maintenance results. He didn't leave a mess and he disposed of everything that needed to go in the trash. It was like he was never there, as I've had experiences with maintenance personnel leaving a mess.
He is so patient and very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work.
After the service, I was emailed the synopsis of the work performed.
So glad that he's my technician.

At the end of last year, American Air Conditioning & Heating installed a new heating system in my home. This week it was time for my heating system's annual tune up. Erik Gomez was the courteous technician who completed the many steps involved in the inspection. He was the ultimate professional arriving on time, putting a doormat by the front door, wearing a mask and protective booties. He appeared to be very well trained and knowledgeable at his job. At the end of two hours he went over all the details of the inspection and showed camera pictures to explain what he was telling me. He was an excellent communicator. He patiently answered all my questions and before he left he made sure that I understood all that had been done to my system. I felt that he really enjoyed his job and wanted to be assured that I was happy with his work. He left the work area very clean which I appreciated. I will be asking for Erik when my annual inspection is due again next year.

On 11/6/21, I hired American Air Conditioning & Heating to replace my old water heater with a new Bradford White water heater (12 year warranty).

The installation technicians, Orlando and Anthony, arrived on time. They displayed a great attitude and were professional and courteous. I was very pleased with their workmanship and skills. The new water heater works perfect.

This has been the fourth time I have hired American Air Conditioning & Heating. They installed a condenser (A/C-Heating), air flow vents and insulation - radiant barrier and Gable electric fan.
