I called American Air Conditioning & Heating because my Central Air Unit was not working. They are a super friendly and customer service-oriented company, I was able to make an appointment the same day. They sent out one of their senior techs Alex Dominguez and it was a complete pleasure interacting with him, he was quick and efficient, once he identified the problem he discussed all possible solutions with us. I would highly recommend that if you have any issues with your air conditioning and/or heating unit that you give them a call.

George Balogh and the team at American Air Conditioning & Heating did a great job.

I responded to a letter I received for an A/C tune up/check up.

From the young lady that took the call, to George showing up on time, everything went smoothly.

He inspected all of the components and verified the functionality, cleaned the system for better efficiency, and subsequently showed me how the electrical usage went down after the cleaning with an amperage gauge measurement.

George took pictures of the various components and showed me how the tune-up helped reduce energy consumption.

He recommended a few things I could do in the future, not pushy at all and went on his way.

I'd definitely recommend the folks at American Air Conditioning and Heating.

I'm recommending with reservations. The rep was difficult to work with, he was very pushy and promised a bunch of things that were never going to happen-like finishing the job in a timely fashion, payment arrangements, and portable air conditioners while the work was being done. He also promised that the job would take two consecutive days. Problem was, the rep did not check to see if his staff was available...so they started the job, but then wanted to stop so the employees could have a day off. The office didn't seem to be able to manage the payment arrangements and there was confusion about who to pay what and when. We had to be without air conditioning for a couple of days and they forgot to bring two portable air conditioning systems , as promised, so only one room had air. The installers, on the other hand, were fantastic. They found and fixed problems, they were polite, neat, and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with Orlando. He went above and beyond to make sure our new air conditioning and heating system was installed within three days. We are very, very happy with the end result.

Almost all of the techs that came out were great, professional, and courteous. Again, the work done was of the highest quality and they cleaned up after each day's work was accomplished, never leaving a mess behind. The communication, on the other hand, between the office and the techs and the customers, seemed to lack follow through. Although if you were able to get to Ashley or Karen, they were super and always followed through.
Of all the techs that were here, Alex and Noel, for service, were great. For equipment installation, Jared, Kyle, Trinidad S. worked hard and through some high heat in our attic. They were careful of our home and our dog. Always cleaned up after each day's work.
Communications and a very few field techs should not spoil a business's reputation, but it does tend to wrinkle the experience. I suggest that anyone having work done, be vigilant and keep on top of what is supposed to be happening and when, each day.

It goes to show, never respond to a hard sell letter in the mail. They did a too expensive ""tune-up"" on my AC that has never given me any problems. They left and my AC wasn't working. I call back and they say they can't come check their shoddy work for two days. This was April... so I shrugged and said ok. They call the day they are supposed to come and postpone again. I finally called another company, who came the same day and fixed the wires they jostled loose. So much for their fine-tuned inspection. So now I've paid them too much and another company to fix their work. They say I need a million repairs the other techs say I don't need. They quote me 30k for a new system, the other guys says would actually cost 10k. My AC just broke again this morning... so I wonder what else they broke while here. 100% stay away from this company.

Second time using them and am again very happy with the service they provided. I have a working a/c but like to get it checked out every year or two by this company as a preventative measure. These guys are completely honest and aren't trying to make a buck off customers for needless upgrades and repairs.

Alex Dominguez and and his partner (or junior?) give my a/c and furnace unit a checkup and they showed me everything they did, took pictures and came back to me with NO extra costs other than the service I had called for itself. They were impressed at how well my unit performed for being relatively old and also took the time to show me certain things that were in great shape. I've had other companies stating I should replace 'this or that' component but this was not the case with them. They were clean, tidy and fast. They worked as a two man team and were very coordinated. I can't see why anyone else hires any other company.
