I wanted to update my review to include a recommendation for the company's VIP maintenance program, which I use for two different properties. They come twice a year, in the fall to make sure the furnace is working well for the winter, and in the spring to make sure the AC is working perfectly for summer. It's so worth the modest monthly fee, because you stay ahead of problems and they never try to up-sell you anything you don't need. At my most recent maintenance, Jarrod and Erik explained everything super-clearly, showed me photos of stuff that was working perfectly, and a couple of other things we need to keep an eye on... including some dirty ducts that are probably the cause of a mystery allergy that's been bugging my husband! These guys are so conscientious, polite and hardworking. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of getting Jarrod as my technician to fix my air conditioning. He was not only professional but very knowledgeable in what he was doing. If our air conditioner ever has any other issues I will for sure be using this company again and will definitely request Jarrod to get the job done right!

Great service! Alex Dominguez was our technician and he was thorough, neat and professional. He did a great job cleaning and servicing our heating and a/c system. There was no hard sell on unnecessary services. The price quoted is what was paid. The company has clearly invested time and effort on establishing procedures and systems. The scheduling and appointment reminder reps were friendly and provided great customer service. This is a well run business. Thanks!

George B. Was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. He did the AC rejuvenation very efficiently and carefully took pictures of everything so he could clearly explain everything he had done and why. I am so happy with his work and the pricing was so reasonable that I signed up for monthly HVAC checks.

Our air conditioning went out on the hottest weekend of the year in Burbank. I called American Air Conditioning & Heating and they immediately sent a technician out to diagnose the problem. Phil was so professional and courteous. He wore a mask, gloves and booties to protect our floors. We needed a new blower motor which the company had to locate and from what understand, EVERYONE was looking for this new motor for us. Success, they found one and Phil showed up once again to do the installation. I was notified every step of the way by someone from the company. I received messages confirming my appointment and was notified when the technician was on their way. I highly recommend American Air Conditioning & Heating and Phil! They are extremely reliable!

I received advanced notice that the technician was on his way, and he showed up right on time, at the beginning of the promised time window. George was professional, thorough, explained why my AC was short cycling and did not recommend replacing the compressor at this time, even though it's 12 years old, which I appreciated. He tested and serviced the compressor, took temp measurements, and inspected the furnace and fan. He showed how the power use went down after the service. . I signed up for the annual maintenance contract but didn't feel pressured. All in all, I would recommend American AC & Heating.

Was happy with the entire service. I got an appointment very quickly, they called to say that the technician was on his way, George was polite, knowledgeable and thorough. He wore a mask and booties into my house. He also showed me all the pictures of what he did up on the roof to my air conditioning unit. I've already talked to neighbors about the wonderful service from American air conditioning and heating.

I had George Balogh from American Air Conditioning and Heating out for a service appointment this morning. I received a call from the company yesterday to confirm our appointment, and again this morning when George was on his way. I had a 3 hour window for the appointment, from 10AM - 1PM. George arrived shortly after 10AM. He wore a face mask and donned protective booties prior to entering my condo. He was professional, friendly, and explained what he was doing. He checked how the system was functioning, cleaned the filter (covered in cat hair), checked the mechanics of the system, and showed me where wear and tear was occurring. The visit was completed by 11AM. George treated me with respect and wasn't the least bit bothered by my cats, who were mildly interested in what he was doing in the forbidden closet. I look forward to seeing George again as part of the service program I signed up for today.

I'd like to start with the fact that they are very nice. Which is the reason I left two stars rather than one. Now to start, They have a book and steps on how to approach and sell.. Which is understandable and needed for some businesses. But definitely in my eyes taking advantage of people. I understand everyone needs to make money. $2,000 or $3,000, EVEN pushing to $5000 above true cost, I can try and deal with/understand. But they quoted my family 22 to 24 thousand dollars to replace the entire ac unit. I'm dumbfounded by this price! Thank god, Ive work with subcontractors in the past and knew of a trustworthy Hvac sub who priced me at 11k! That's 13k less than their cost! I mean I don't want to say terrible things because they were nice and mean well. But whoever created those books and cost pricing- BREAKS my heart. I'm sure people have agreed to their price and are now deeper in debt! I just find $11000 to $13000 outrageous! I write this to hopefully help other families so that they don't go deeper in debt! You guys CAN and WILL receive a better price! Also they charge to see the job which included spending a lot of time taking apart the ac unit. Which I don't find necessary. My subcontractor didn't need to do any of this! It's not hard to take a look and know the ac unit needs to be replaced and price a quote. Again I respect any business and acting thorough ,I feel terrible writing a review but I can't stand by, knowing others families might be spending $11000-$13000 dollars more then needed! I wish you all luck! Hope this helps someone!
