With payment to be made from My personal acct, they still Refused to come w/out speaking to my elderly landlord first. Since I am disabled due to an over 4cm brain tumor, I understand how exhausting a simple phone call can be, so we don't bother unless absolutely necessary. My retired Dad and boyfriend have done almost all repairs over the last 5+ yrs.
This was learned after listening to an unwanted 4 min speech about how wonderful they are, how much their business has grown in 15yrs, why they can charge such ""low"" prices, on and on...then being pushed with the grift of a ""VIP"" membership. Seriously.
All I wanted was for them to ""tune up"" my A/C before the 110+ degree summer hits. This has taken other companies in the past about 15-20min from arrival to departure and was gonna cost $80+tax. Instead, I have no appt, a headache, and am once again frustrated with how little compassion some businesses have for the disabled and the elderly.

I have had a service contract with Ambient Edge since 2018. The service, until recently, has been excellent. They were always on time for their appointments. I don't know what happened ... their service now stinks.

I had an appointment for yesterday, for them to come check my furnace for the winter (they normally come before summer, and before winter). We were home all day waiting for someone to show ... they postponed it, late in the afternoon, after we had wasted a day waiting for them. They were supposed to be here early this morning ... they showed up this afternoon, after they texted me at 1152; he showed up at 1222, walked up to the door, didn't even knock on the door, and then left, because he saw a note that was put out there at 1045. I know that he didn't knock because my video camera shows that he didn't knock, and I have two dogs who didn't even bark.

So, now I have to wait until the technician is done with another appointment in another town.

After this service, I will be cancelling my service agreement with Ambient Edge. I won't do business with a company that has no respect for my time. I am sure there are other companies out there that still provide excellent customer service.

By the way ... I had the same problem with them this past Spring; I gave them the benefit of the doubt back then; not now.

My A/C was not putting out cold air. I had called another company which came out and said they could not do the job but left the door open and the power handle laying outside the unit. Ambient air came out, addressed the problem correctly and fixed the unit. Michael Angelo was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much Michael for fixing my A/C unit.

VERY DISHONEST!!! Quoted us a repair for 5 grand that didn't seem right. Had another company come out and give a second opinion. Only had to pay $634 dollars and they repaired it that day. Ambient Edge wanted to have us pay $400 to FIND THE LEAK, which the technician should have done right there. The other company found it in 5 minutes and fixed it on the spot!
Also, if you have an older unit that uses R22 coolant. Education yourself. Ambient Edge wanted to retrofit a new pump that uses a different type of coolant. While R22 was banned in Jan of 2020, there are companies who still have stockpiles of it and can service your unit! Check to see if other companies have R22 before letting Ambient Edge talk you into spending thousands. Very shady technicians working for them.

I wont disclose what I needed done with my AC unit for privacy reasons so I won't be harrassed about my review.
An older technician came out gave an evaluation with an estimate which I knew didn't sound right.
I didnt have a good feeling about him. He seemed very dishonest and turns out, he was! They wanted to charge us a jaw-dropping, outrageous amount of money, saying we had two options...we could retrofit the old unit for 4 grand or buy a new unit for 10-12k because there was a leak somewhere that he would have to find. (There was a charge just for finding the leak, by the way! Something he should have been able to do right there.
We scheduled another quote with another company and I'm so glad that I did!
He immediately found the leak (which was a loose pressure cap.) Why couldn't the other guy just tighten that?! Makes me wonder how it got loosened.
After all was said and done, we only paid $634 for a simplr service and repair that Ambient Edge wanted to charge us 4 grand for.
Do not let these people prey on you! Research everything they say is wrong because they prey on peoples ignorance of AC systems!

We bought a new sink from Home Depot . We needed an install and we were quoted $279 for install on an under mount sink. Today the guy from Ambient edge shows up and he's cutting out our sink, it's in pieces, is boss Mike called and told him he can remove the sink but not install the new one or else we would have to pay... $700.00 for the job! Wow! What the heck?! So now we have no sink and if we don't pay then I guess we don't have a sink .

I have just recently purchased a home here in the Willow Valley area of Arizona I have purchased two air-conditioning units that have been nothing but outstanding The gals that answer the phones and directed Me to the right people are just simply amazing women very very helpful there customer service Skills are above and beyond the standards that I have experience out there they are definitely top of the class the sales Man Mr. AAA is great sales person his personality is spot on I enjoyed three times that I have had him for my sales of these items I have had my systems recently summarized service and the gentleman that came out to service my air conditioning units is there a professional courteous and very knowledgeable I was able to ask him many questions and he had answered all of them to my liking he made it plain and simple to understand I had asked to keep him as my contact for my future maintenance so we can stay consistent I had ordered a hot water heater from the company as well and plumbing by Jake the team that had come to my home each and every time and there was a lot has always been professional courtesy kind professional and they seemed genuinely concerned I purchased an item that had many malfunctions and issues that caused a lot of frustration within my own home due to the water quality none of that has anything to do with Ambient but they were their spot on each and every time I made that call I sent many emails and they tolerating me awesome company amazing people I would recommend them highly even through all the troubleThat came with that purchase of that hot water heater had nothing to do with the tea sales man are the girls it was just a faulty equipment but they serve me well and was patient with me in my lane and language thumbs up The score A perfect 10 with me. I had ambient come out to give me a quote for a new AC system and it was over $12,000! They were overcharging me by $5,000!! went with another AC company for the same quote for only $7,000. Be careful this company is a scam!

Called to have them come fix my ac and they came out right away. I have had to have them out a few times and each time I've been lucky to get the same tech, he has made sure to fix the problem ( a leak) and has always been really good at explaining everything. Great company and great tech Shawn very professional!!!!
