Called to have them come fix my ac and they came out right away. I have had to have them out a few times and each time I've been lucky to get the same tech, he has made sure to fix the problem ( a leak) and has always been really good at explaining everything. Great company and great tech Shawn very professional!!!!

Called for a quote from Ambient Edge and Plumbing by Jake. The rep showed up on time and gave me an estimate of $691 to install new water shut off valves for my washing machine. When asked how long it would take he responded one hour. $691 per hour was too rich for me. Even if the parts cost $200, that's still $500 per hour. Paid the $79 service fee and said, ""No Thanks.""

We had a very bad experience with this company. We called them to let them know our AC was freezing up and told them we had the same problem a couple months before. We told them that the last repair person added Freon but they did not have any leak stop so they just added Freon to the system to get it up and running. We told them it was an old system that used the old type Freon and that we also wanted them to add Leak stop to the system as well. They sent their technician to our home to check the system. They informed us that we were correct and that the system was low on Freon but they said they did not carry the old type Freon. They also told us they did not have any leak stop and tried to convince us that it would not help. The technician then informed us that we owed him $79 for his service call even though he did absolutely nothing to repair our system. We called another company called Got Air and what a difference between the two. Got Air is a small Mom and Pop operations run by Mike. He immediately told us that he loves Stop Leak for older units that he can often get years more life out of them with a simple can of stop leak. This has been our experience as well with another unit we have on a home in Kingman. He went out added stop leak and more of the older expensive Freon and our entire bill was only $200. This young kid from Ambient Edge sent us a bill for $80 to do absolutely nothing even though we called the company and told them exactly what was wrong before anyone ever looked at the unit and we told them it used the old Freon and it needed more. He said he did not carry the old Freon nor the Stop Leak even though when we initially called the company we told them this is what it needed. IMHO this is a big company that specializes in taking your money and could care less about the happiness of the customer. We had a completely different experience with Mike at Got Air in Bullhead City. He is a very honest good guy making a living for himself and standing by his work. He is not a big business overcharging at every turn and trying to generate extra service calls for himself or trying to convince you that you need an entirely new system just because yours is old and that stop leak doesn't work to stop minor Freon leaks. All I can tell you for sure is that you will be much happier with a different company than this one. This is a big company operation with offices in different cities and that is how it is run. We had a very unfavorable experience with them and that is why I am writing this review.

We had them do a service on our Ambient Edge installed air conditioner in April or May and they said the relay switch was bad which we had replaced at a cost of over $400. The air quit working today and they informed us that to come out today it would be a $119 charge just to come out and if the problem was not due to the previous repair that they would charge $200 just to go out to the truck and retrieve a new part. That's extortion. Found out from Pitzers yesterday that there unit is still under manufacturers warranty. Why were we charged for the faulty relay switch,

This company lies and steals! Scammers! We paid for a WIFI thermostat and they did NOT install the WIFI thermostat. We contacted them and they sent a message telling us how to connect the WIFI. We messaged them back and then they told us that we couldn't afford the WIFI one. WTF!!! I've posted the invoice! I want what I paid for!!! Not this cheap thing you put on my wall! BEWARE!!! They have no decency, no morals and no integrity!

Stay away. Not upfront and honest and will charge you an arm and a leg for unnecessary repairs. Preys on the vulnerable elderly.

We signed up for an inspection and check-up on our HVAC system since we had moved here only 5 months ago and knew nothing about our unit. Shawn Sheneman arrived at the designated time and informed me of what he was going to do. When he was done Shawn gave me a lot of information about our system which I had no idea. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Shawn explained our options to us. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Shawn is undoubtedly a valuable asset to Ambient Edge. When it comes time for us to call for a repair, installation or anything to do with heating and air conditioning it will be Ambient Edge largely due to Shawn. In fact we will explicitly ask for him. After a sleepless night, having discovered during late evening last night our air conditioning unit was leaking profusely, I highly recommend Ambient Edge. In response to my early morning message, I was contacted as soon as their office opened by a friendly, profession employee. She assured me it would be handled today. Following a phone call five minutes prior to arrival, Danny got right to work trouble shooting. After identifying and explaining the problem, assuring us it was fixable with tools available on his service truck, the leak was stopped and future problems avoided. Prior to leaving, Danny shared with us the value of an annual service contract, with substantial savings through routine maintenance and available discounts. We plan to take advantage of that offering. We are glad a local business hires, trains and keeps employees who treat the business as their own. I've been their customer for over 17 years. I've had them install HVAC systems in two homes, the first one when they operated as Advantage HVAC. I will continue to seek their friendly, professional and competitively priced service and highly recommend them.
