Amazing Plumbing & Rooter performed Home Warranty work through Fidelity Home Warranty on my home. The job work order was to replace 3 shower mixing valve cartridges. supposably...what they did was grease the 2 cartridges and Replace one, I was told that they put all new cartridges in. The fact is only one was replaced. I had replaced the other two cartridges for the showers myself. Long story short if you want something done right hire reputable Company or do it your self.

They were the sub-contactor for old republic home warranty which is pretty much a scam. the warranty company said they'd cover a simple leak on the phone after we described what the issue was. then amazing plumbing showed up and all of a sudden it wasn't covered anymore. still had to pay a $75 deductible and another 50 bucks for Amazing Plumbing to fix it. Guess what? all he did was tighten the pipe and nothing was replaced. you're going to charge me $50 for that??

4/5 only due to scheduling. Missed a scheduled visit once and was late to next appointment. Besides that Alonso is a rock star. He had to crawl into the tightest and nastiest crawl space and he has integrity. Previous plumber said our gas valve for fireplace was leaking underneath the house. Alonso snooped it and took video. It wasn't leaking. He did continue to investigate inside the house and was able to recreate a small leak up top. He spent the next hour removing the cap (fireplace shutoff valve) and found the root cause. The inside part of the Valve was loose. He repaired, leak checked and voila. No leak!! Gives us piece of mind and confirmed we weren't imagining the smell. He made sure all the water heaters were on.

Can't say enough good words about him. Would call him again in a heartbeat.

Got the new technician out who seems professional and proficient. Of course, as suspected, he needed to verify what the prior tech analyzed. Confirmed that I need two new parts and they should be in, in about a week and company would call to set next appt. (i did not expect this to occur)......so 1.5 weeks later, I called to set the appt myself. Next appt is another 1.5 weeks out. I asked to confirm that the parts are in so that I don't waste appt #4 on this job....they said should be in, middle of next week. So I will need to take it on myself to call them mid-next week to confirm, so I don't waste yet another day off of work.

Call someone else! Absolutely horrific experience! Run!

When our shower head broke we contacted our home warranty company to send a plumber to replace it and properly install a new one as we are not plumbing experts and didn't want to cause a bigger issue by replacing it ourselves. They sent someone from amazing plumbing and that's when things took a turn for the worst.

The tech gets to our home and looks at the broken head and goes outside to call the home warranty co. and his manager. He comes back in 15 minutes later and states that he cannot replace it with the same or even a comparable shower head that came builders grade with the home, but instead with a head far too small for the size of our shower.

Naturally we were annoyed but offered to cough up the money and pay for a larger head out of pocket. The tech told us to call him once the purchase was made and he would take the old head off and replace it with the new head later on that day. When he arrives that evening, he comes in, takes the old head off, puts the new one on and quickly snaps a picture of it with his phone. He runs the water about 15 seconds, turns it off and then goes outside to his vehicle. Comes back in, charges me $65 bucks, hands me my receipt and tells me I have a 30 day guarantee should we have any issues with it. I'm happy, he's happy, he leaves.

So.......The next morning I get up to take an actual shower with my new shower head, turn on the water and after about 5 min we notice it's leaking. The leak starts to get worse and worse by the minute and starts spraying out the top. We snap a pic and turn the water off. You can blatantly see a large crack in part of our new shower head where the water is leaking from. Could have been a defect when we bought the head but more than likely was caused during installation.

So, we call amazing plumbing back and tell them what happened. They basically call us liars and that our shower head must be defective. We ask about the 30 day guarantee and are told again it's our problem not theirs. We ask to see the pics the tech took from 12 hours earlier after he was done installing. We are sent 3 pics, 2 of our shower with the broken head and the last pic is of another shower head in a shower but get this.......it's not our shower! We call them and tell them they made a mistake but apparently that's all they have on file for us. So basically we are lead to believe the guy probably noticed the crack after install and instead chose to hide it from his boss by fraudulently replacing the pic with a pic of someone else's shower head!

In the end, we catch the lie and call them on it. We are told that they can come back out 3 days later to again try and fix the issue.......but we find them to be incompetent and we don't like dealing with liars and cheats so we opt for our $65 back to call a new plumber to do the job right. We are totally denied a refund and told that the best they could do is send the same guy back to install another shower head.

Would you want that guy back in your home knowing what he did? Nope. So long story short we paid $65 for a second broken shower head. Bottom line is, this company does NOT put the customer first and the least they could do after all the lying and run around is to just give us our money back so we can pay someone else to do the job right.

Such a horrible experience. This company came highly rated referred by my home warranty company. They made an appointment to come out the next day between 10am-12pm. I called at 12pm and they made a call out to the tech who was running behind because he was held up at another house in my area. They apologized and said he would be arriving within an hour. Another hour passed and I called again to the office they called the tech and he said it would be another 30mins. Another hour passed and this time I spoke directly with the manager and how this is unacceptable. She called the tech and told him to leave the first house to come to mine and that she canceled his other home visits because he was so behind. Two guys came out. The main one had to call his boss for advice on everything and to walk him through what he was looking at. The other guy made a mess of my bathroom and when I came to check on him I was appalled and starting cleaning it up. He took the hint and started helping me. The other guy then rushed and said he had another house to go to and I said no you don't I've already spoke to your manager she said she canceled your other stops so you can stay here and finish the job. He was confused and said okay well they didn't tell me that and I can't finish the job without this part and it's a special order so I'll have to come back tomorrow to install it. I called the office after they left and said what time will a tech be coming out and she said first thing in the morning between 8-9am. I called the office at 9am she said he will be leaving the office to head to me now that it should be 20mins. It's now 10:20 am and still no one it here. I will definitely be telling my home warranty company about my terrible experience and how they should not be the top of their vendor list.

These guys were great (Jesus and Oscar)!! Very responsive and courteous. Conscientious and polite, too. They removed or covered their shoes before they came in the house. They did their work very quickly and quietly and cleaned up afterwards. They explained very clearly to me all the work they did and showed me the parts the replaced. I'm sure I would have them out to do additional work if needed in the future.
