Alex L.I don't know how the other reviews are so negative. Had a guy out today and he was friendly and did his work very efficiently. Wish I remembered his name, but he has been working for the business for about 4 years. Didn't try to make us pay a ridiculous amount. Provided exemplary customer service. I hope future clients have similar experiences to mine.
We just moved onto this gorgeous home and were starting to find problems left and right. We're pretty stressed out at this point and then American Home Shield sends AM PM Plumbing to our house to see if they could get our m/b shower to work. They send tech Josh to our house. He was professional and pleasant to work with. He not only quickly got our shower working again but was also kind enough to listen and respond to my other concerns. I had a broken toilet handle(that broke the night before the appt), another shower that wouldn't divert water from the upper shower to the lower bath faucet, a stuck drain plug, and a cold water heater. Josh didn't hesitate once. He fixed everything, explained all the important details to me including options I might want to consider in the future, and demonstrated great workmanship in the process. Josh's visit took all the stress away. All around great experience!!! A+++
Bobbi W.VERY DISHONEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
American Home Shield, our home warranty company sent this company out to clear a clog in the P-trap under my kitchen sink.
Robert arrived from AM PM plumbing and was very pleasant. THE only good moment.
And proceeded to push water back and forth from one side of my sink to the other with a small little plastic device, he ONLY USED a flashlight to look under my sink and immediately declared that there was no
P-trap under my sink. And I knew THERE WAS ONE, I HAD cleaned it out in the past.
He told me he couldn't locate it, so he then went outside my home, looking for a 'clean out trap'.
THEN he told the told that the only way to fix it was to go through the wall from my kitchen to my living room and it would cost anywhere from close to $500 dollars and UP - for the cost to ""find"" the trap that MUST be located in the wall between the kitchen and dining area. That would mean removing part of the wall and hopefully finding a trap.
Of course a repair like that would not be covered by my home warranty.
Seriously??
I'm a little older and female, maybe he saw an easy mark?
I have a good deal of knowledge about plumbing issues from years of fixing a lot of repairs myself.
But, hey, I have a home Warranty company and it was simpler, at the time, just to call them to send out a plumber.
When Robert left, after about 15min, he advised me to call his office to set up a time to do the work needed to the (nonexistent) trap inside my wall.
When he left, I went under my kitchen sink to remove the pipe with the P-trap, I then emptied out the small piece of clear plastic and some sweet potato peels causing the clog - THAT I FOUND IN THE CLEAN OUT TRAP. I replaced the pipe and have had no further issues.
The worst part is I still owe the $75 deductible to my home warranty co. just to have AM PM Plumbing come to my house and be completely DISHONEST.
Arghhh
Unfortunately I had the displeasure of dealing with this company after my water heater went out and Choice Home Warranty decided to assign my issue to them. Water heater went out last Wednesday. AMPM came out to determine it was bad on Friday. Been without hot water for 7 days now and warranty company is still waiting to hear back from AMPM on what their findings were so they can go ahead and move forward with a repair.
I spoke with Renee at AMPM Plumbing and asked if the water heater replacement has been scheduled. She said I needed to call Choice Home Warranty. I called Choice and spoke with Victor, informing him of my conversation with Renee at AMPM and asked what the hold-up on their end was. He said they havent received a diagnosis from AMPM and put me on hold so he could call Renee. She told him she didn't recall speaking with me (I JUST hung up with her before I called Choice) and said she would get in contact with the tech who was out there for the diagnosis report.
This company is unbelievable. If they get assigned to your claim, ask them to assign a different company and check their reviews to make sure they're a good company with good customer service.
Fred D.I have waited 2 1/2 weeks for a fosset to be replaced and have called 9 times now. They did call back and leave a voicemail a couple times, but don't ever answer their phone or call back on the same day. I am still waiting and left 3 messages yesterday and 1 this morning.... no return call. They literally took the payment and vanished. Don't do business with this company.
Joann M.If American home shield continues send out AM/PM I will cancel AHS. And if AM/PM continues to employ Robert they will be out of business in no time. As it should be.
Worst service provider that I've experienced in years. Contracted through American Home Shield. Clearly not vetted by the home warranty provider. Would not do work unless I agreed to additional work that was not covered by the home warranty. The rudest and demanding person that I've had to deal with when it came to getting an invoice emailed to me. She stated that she would send it right away, Never did. I called back. Left a message to send the invoice. No response. I will be contacting AHS and Better Business Bureau about this company. It is a shame that people like this are still allowed to operate a service business. Beware.
I too had this company sent out by my warranty company, AHS. At first, they were very prompt in calling me and setting up the appointment and the technician Juan showed up on time. He verified that my water pressure regulator valve was not working but unfortunately he did not have one on his truck. I asked how long it would take to come back and finish the repair. He said the company would reschedule but approximately 3 days. This was on 1/19/16.
I did not hear back from AM PM so I tried calling on 1/22/16 around 4 pm but got no answer. They finally called on 1/25/16 and scheduled Juan to come back on 1/29/16 between 4 - 6 pm. I rearranged my schedule and made sure I was home Juan never showed. I tried calling the office but had to leave a message. I then called AHS who did the same thing. They did not have an after hours number for them. Finally at 7:15 pm, Juan calls but does not have the part. He will have to reschedule for Monday, 2/1/16.
I've wasted my entire day waiting on Juan and I've heard nothing from him. I've called the office twice and gotten no help whatsoever. I even called AHS again and they gave me the same response. I'm quite angry and will never use these people again. At this point, I'm switching home warranty companies as well!
I used AM PM Plumbing through a home warranty program for which I was not given an option to pick any other company to replace my hot water heater. Everything was great to start as they showed up when they were supposed to and installed the new hot water heater.
That's when everything changed. From the time they installed it, I began smelling gas in the room. It continued to get stronger and stronger and it took 3 weeks before someone would come back to look at it. The first time they were scheduled to come, they didn't show up and never said a word about it. I had to call back again and got a cursory apology for the technician not showing up and rescheduled for the next day. The technician showed up this time and said the main gas connection was loose by more than a quarter turn. He tightened it and left without looking at anything else.
The gas smell never went away. I had to call back again and the person who answered the phone (Renae) put me on hold for 10 minutes and when I told her what was happening and why it was so frustrating to us that for 5 weeks now we have gas leaking in our house, her response was, ""I'm sorry but I've done what I can do. You need to call your warranty company again and have them create a new ticket before I can do anything.""
Meanwhile, our gas bill over the last month is triple any other month we have lived at the house. They have absolutely no remorse for their continued ineptitude to do a simple installation. I will NEVER choose to work with them again and if you have a choice, I highly recommend you don't either.
Am.p.m. plumbing. The lady answering the phone , Deanna, was rude , and short , like she could care less, borderline nasty , she said she was the supervisor, can't believe owner would have Deanna in charge of the first impression a customer would get. The tech that came out was fine, unfortunately if my insurance company didn't set up appointment, I would have never used this company.
