What a joke. At the time of scheduling, I sent the company a picture of the leaking pipe and the specs for the flex hose that the technician needed to bring out. He showed up an hour and a half late and with no knowledge of the flex hose he was supposed to bring. charged me $129 for nothing. Then I got an estimate for $669 for them to come back with the correct flex hose. so I spent $13.95 at Home Depot and will do it myself.

Fraudulent company! Rental company hired them to come out and drain my ac line. Instead they took 2 hours to """"check the electrical"""" and now my AC is not working and house has been 90 degrees for over 24 hours. They dont prioritize getting a technician out to fix their problem urgently.

i booked an appointment to see what was wrong with my pipes in the bathroom, just a quote. It was only afterwards that they informed me it would be $49.00 for them just to come to my house. When the plumbers got here, we talked about the issues, went outside, talked some more, mostly they did the talking, turns out it was $148. 00. They did absolutely no work at this point. So beware, they are fast talking and really bait and switch.

We've used Alvarez over the years for various repairs and services, but now we needed a new unit. They were very responsive and were one of the few companies that could even get an AC unit like we needed in a reasonable timeframe. They (Scott) got the new unit in, installed and all was cool (literally). About 2 weeks later we noticed the air flow was getting very low and it was not cooling well. Again, Alvarez (Scott) was very responsive and sent a technician right out. They determined that during installation the main duck was not quite long enough and got kinked leading to a duct collapse. Again, they took care of the issue, installed a longer duct section, all at no charge. We highly recommend Alvarez Plumbing and Air Conditioning; exceptional customer service.

Unreliable and poor customer service. Called this morning and was given a time frame of 12-4 pm. Wiated the entire time for someone to show up. Never showed up because they said they called and didn't get an answer so they decided I must not be available and they took another emergency job. Never came to the property. Never said that they would be calling to confirm someone would be there or would not show. Could not have cared less about the inconvenience and waste of my time when I called Their only solution was that I could wait another four hours tomorrow. No thanks.

Called and described the problem I was having. Gave them not only my contact information but also my tenants (who they contacted directly and set an appointment). Day of the appointment, no one shows. No call to either the tenant or myself to say they're going to be late (even though they had all the contact info). They just blow off the appointment. Perhaps it's a good thing they never showed if their plumbing service is anywhere close to as poor as their customer service, it could have been a lot worse.

We had a big mess going on with our septic spewing out waste and toilet paper all over our yard and sidewalk. It was disgusting. Joe M with Alvarez came, diagnosed the problem and fixed it efficiently. He was very professional, easy to talk with and just an overall nice person. I would highly recommend this company and Joe M specifically. We will definitely be calling them if we have any future plumbing needs.

Awful experience! The charge $200 to fix an issue and it was worse when they left. I asked for this to be repaired and Jay told me it would be 2 days to fix it. The kicker was he said """"we will do this with no extra charge."""" They have not been back out and escalating this to a manager for quality service is a complete joke. I was referred to this company and should of read reviews first. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I have been dealing with Alvarez plumbing for years. I always get good, timely service. Most recently I had two experiences in one week. My downstairs neighbor complained of leaks from my unit, thinking it might be a toilet leak because she found water on her toilet tank, which is situated in the same place as in my unit. The plumber sized up the situation and suspected the leak occurred in my unit from the shower, about three feet away from where the neighbor found water underneath me; the water had traveled via a slightly inclined subfloor. The man didn't have to rip out her ceiling or my tile. He figured that the shower head had a leak that leaked down the tile to where the on/off faucet is and got behind that piece and leaked down below. He made appropriate fixes based on his suspicion, and he was right. The leak stopped. A few days later, my very old water heater developed a leak, and I caught it before there was a flood. I asked Alvarez to accommodate my work schedule and send someone over with a new water heater after 6 p.m. The men showed up on time, replaced the water heater, completely cleaned up, and left a little after 9 p.m. I am a satisfied Alvarez customer.
