i booked an appointment to see what was wrong with my pipes in the bathroom, just a quote. It was only afterwards that they informed me it would be $49.00 for them just to come to my house. When the plumbers got here, we talked about the issues, went outside, talked some more, mostly they did the talking, turns out it was $148. 00. They did absolutely no work at this point. So beware, they are fast talking and really bait and switch.

Edgar showed up within the 12-4 time frame and was masked. We were happy to know COVID protocol was going to be followed. He had booties and gloves (several pairs!) and examined what the job was going to be. There was miscommunication from the office about what I was supplying and what the tech would need to supply. This caused a delay since he had to get the replacement hoses for the washer at Home Depot. He took care of replacing the hoses and installing a new kitchen faucet. Edgar explained what he was doing and answered any questions I had. He was pleasant and efficient. This is the second time we have used Alvarez for our plumbing needs and I would call on them again.

Over priced and rude customer service. My appt was for 8:30 am and the tech came 30 mins late. Was charged $119.00 to diagnose a problem with my kitchen faucet. Tech said a new Cartridge was needed and it would be an additional $300 for the part and the install. Part was not on truck and they took 2 days to get back out here leaving me with no working kitchen faucet. Both times here Tech continually wore his cloth mask down below his nose even after I asked him to keep it in place out of respect for my family, With prices this high you would think the company would hire women that know how to speak to people over the phone but instead they are rude and cut you off. Never again !

Justin and Barry showed up to fix my hot water tank. They were very professional and friendly. As they were working they explained what/why they were doing which I appreciated. Prices were good and services were great. I highly recommend and will call them for all my future plumbing needs.

James from Alvarez Plumbing repaired a messy kitchen sink problem I had. He did a great job and was very neat and clean during the process. It has been a while ago, but I wanted to say Thank You and I will be call you all again when I need help! Shari from South Tampa

Horrible experience and lack of professionalism. I called this Company who I hired before. This time unfortunately they did not address the issue I called for; the plumber went to the incorrect apartment and performed a different job than requested. On top of that he lied and said he went to the correct apartment while the tenants were there present waiting for him. The worst part wasn't the fact that the guy never performed the actual job but the horrible customer service the next day. I called the Company to tell them the back up was still active and the lady who answered the phone, her name is Marji or Marcie was completely rude, did not allowed me to talk and keep talking over me like a mad woman. She was trying to tell me they would have to charge me again because her plumber did the job the night before what is completely FALSE! He went to the WRONG apartment!!! I would never call this Company again and I have communicate this to the rest of the Multifamily Properties in my portfolio as well as the Apartment Association. Maybe this Marcie or Marji person would think twice next time she decides to act disrespectfully against a client. Bad time to lose business!

Do not use this company. They overcharge, point fingers and make excuses. All the 1 star reviews are legit and notice the responses they are divert and no one takes ownership of the problems.

Never send a boy (or2) to do a man's job. Replacing a hot water tank in condo high rise. A while back- -estimator's Sales Quote did not match multi installation discount promised to the building. -estimator tried to upsell replacement of brass parts not needed. -quoted price to install short boy 60 gal - 2 young Installers did not know what they were doing to remove old one. They didn't want to remove utility closet door to prevent damage. but did after I made them measure, did not want to cut pvc from a/c air handler that was in way and would break pipes. Again I said measure and took pic of it before any damage. Then they did. Old 80 gal tank was too wide to be pulled out around the pvc and Freon tubing. I had to problem solve for them how to do that. They installed new tank without a new drip pan. They filled the tank with water and said that is all they could do. An electrician was needed to put in longer wires, the estimator screwed up on that. No electrician that day...I had to wait almost 24 hours for that to be done ??? Over night and next day - no hot water or shower. (No, I won't pay for the electrician that was not in the quote) All finally finished and they did provide a $100 discount. But could not recommend. The price was higher than their pitch to get many installations in one building

Will NOT use again or recommend. A tenant put in a work order with property management about a leaking water heater. APAC charged $1414.72 to swap out a supposedly leaking water heater and replaced with Rheem ProE50 T2 RH95 on May 14, 2019. Once they left, the tenant had to put in another work order on May 14, 2019 for water leaking behind the wall where the water heater is. They came out on May 16, 2019 to identify the leak behind the wall and to repair. They found and replaced a bad tee connector on the cold water line. Additionally, they replaced the cold water line to hose bibb and hose bibb on backside of house even though they said the leak was at the tee connector. This charge was originally $1,013.81, but took 25% off after property management questioned the charges. The updated charge is $760.36. I will post an update once the property management receive answers from APAC for the questions below. Q1. Was the water leak actually coming from the water heater or the wall? Q2. If water heater was bad, where was the leaking coming from? Q3. Was the water leak behind the wall caused by your tech while installing the new water heater? Q4. Why was an expansion valve installed and did the old water heater have one? Q5. Why would someone have to put in a new work order on the SAME day for water leak after YOUR tech just left after replacing the water heater? Q6. Can you provide a detailed invoice of parts and labor?

Horrible experience with this company. Charged me $219 for not even half an hour's work. They are total rip-off artists so stay away from them. I can not say one nice about them. Up top was my first review. Then they reached out to me and made it right. I appreciated their taking the time to do that so I'm changing this to 4 stars. Thank you for your professionalism.
