Fraudulent company! Rental company hired them to come out and drain my ac line. Instead they took 2 hours to """"check the electrical"""" and now my AC is not working and house has been 90 degrees for over 24 hours. They dont prioritize getting a technician out to fix their problem urgently.

I have been dealing with Alvarez plumbing for years. I always get good, timely service. Most recently I had two experiences in one week. My downstairs neighbor complained of leaks from my unit, thinking it might be a toilet leak because she found water on her toilet tank, which is situated in the same place as in my unit. The plumber sized up the situation and suspected the leak occurred in my unit from the shower, about three feet away from where the neighbor found water underneath me; the water had traveled via a slightly inclined subfloor. The man didn't have to rip out her ceiling or my tile. He figured that the shower head had a leak that leaked down the tile to where the on/off faucet is and got behind that piece and leaked down below. He made appropriate fixes based on his suspicion, and he was right. The leak stopped. A few days later, my very old water heater developed a leak, and I caught it before there was a flood. I asked Alvarez to accommodate my work schedule and send someone over with a new water heater after 6 p.m. The men showed up on time, replaced the water heater, completely cleaned up, and left a little after 9 p.m. I am a satisfied Alvarez customer. We had a big mess going on with our septic spewing out waste and toilet paper all over our yard and sidewalk. It was disgusting. Joe M with Alvarez came, diagnosed the problem and fixed it efficiently. He was very professional, easy to talk with and just an overall nice person. After weeks of continuously trying to fix a toilet clog the situation finally grew severe enough that we needed to call a plumber. Through the Brandon Chamber of Commerce we found Alvarez Plumbing and they sent out a technician the next day. The plumber who came out, George, exceeded our expectations. He was thorough with his work, explained it clearly to my husband and was courteous in our home. The next day I wasn't sure if the toilet was messing up again. Alvarez Plumbing has a 30 day guarantee on their repairs and George came out again (he did fix it correctly the first time, it was user error on my part). He completely backtracked his steps to ensure our pipes had been cleared and took the time to walk me through how our pipes worked so that I would have a better understanding. That REALLY impressed me. I rarely interact with specified-skill careers who can speak to me on my level of ignorant-home-owner. I paid a reasonable price, one time, to have excellent service that is guaranteed. As a home owner, that's a best case scenario.

Awful experience! The charge $200 to fix an issue and it was worse when they left. I asked for this to be repaired and Jay told me it would be 2 days to fix it. The kicker was he said """"we will do this with no extra charge."""" They have not been back out and escalating this to a manager for quality service is a complete joke. I was referred to this company and should of read reviews first. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Over priced and rude customer service. My appt was for 8:30 am and the tech came 30 mins late. Was charged $119.00 to diagnose a problem with my kitchen faucet. Tech said a new Cartridge was needed and it would be an additional $300 for the part and the install. Part was not on truck and they took 2 days to get back out here leaving me with no working kitchen faucet. Both times here Tech continually wore his cloth mask down below his nose even after I asked him to keep it in place out of respect for my family, With prices this high you would think the company would hire women that know how to speak to people over the phone but instead they are rude and cut you off. Never again !

On 1/02/18 I called Alvarez Plumbing; the well-experienced plumber they sent cleared two completely stopped drain lines, plus he laid down plastic first, plus he used a shop vac, and he cleaned up well when he was finished. One of the drain lines he cleared had been abandoned because a previous plumber was unable to clear it, so he then re-plumbed my drain pipes to run more efficiently by using it. He worked very hard for me, and later that evening he called to ask if everything was still okay. I'm very happy that I called Alvarez, and this was the second excellent experience I've had with them.
