We requested service for a clogged sewer line. Tom came and cleared the line. We are very happy with Alpine Plumbing and have been using them for years. And they are reasonable!

Alpine showed up to give me an estimate to replace a 10', 3/4"" flex gas line with a 3/4"" iron pipe. The tech quoted a price and I agreed that they would do the work the next day.

Next day tech completes the work. Upon inspection it was evident that there was a communication failure. The tech had disconnected the 3/4"" and placed the service on an existing 1/2"" line that had been abandoned in place.

The service was for a tankless hot water heater. The reason the 1/2"" was abandoned was that the gas pressure was not sufficient to supply appropriate gas volume so that the tankless could maintain flame.

Alpine put everything back the way it was and of course did not charge me.

Bottom line, they wasted my time but more importantly they had no idea how to check BTU requirements for the tankless and compare that to the gas volume being provided by my service. To add insult to injury, the tech used plumbers putty for the gas fittings.

UPDATE: ALPINE'S OWNER FOLLOWED UP ON THIS REVIEW AND MADE EVERYTHING RIGHT. HERB DID A GREAT JOB AND I AM 100% SATISFIED.

I called them out for a replacement of our dishwasher intake and valve replacement. . Less than 24 hours there was a huge leak under the sink that they were working on . Called them back they came out and claimed that a ring was missing . We never had any leaks with this sink . They replaced the ring and the problem seemed to be resolved .
Then that night the shower to the bathroom flooded . Called them again they said they would be out the following day between 11-1 .Showed up at 1 and said they would not help us due to the rain .
My question is it had been raining for approximately 2 hours why not cancel then rather than leaving us high and dry ? Their response was , you can just hire someone else . There prices were also double of other places . They said they would call and reschedule they never did .This place is overpriced, incompetent and unprofessional.

It's not every day that you come across a company that goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are completely satisfied. This was probably the most efficient experience we've had with ANY type of service we've had to call over to our home. From scheduling to our actual appointment was less than 24 hours. Our service appointment was handled by Michael. He was a polite and relatable, but more importantly, knowledgeable, skilled, and very professional. We also appreciated that he was a clear and courteous communicator that set accurate expectations for us on everything from his arrival time, what to expect on his arrival, possible causes of our issue, explaining the actual cause after resolving it, and best practices concerning our plumbing moving forward. He just made the whole process quick and seamless, and now there's one headache in our daily lives that we no longer have to deal with thanks to Michael!

Had a leak from what I thought was for a main service line. Ryan came down to take a look at the issue. We moved into our house last year and we plan on changing the landscaping to rocks instead of grass so don't really use the sprinkler system. The leak was actually for the shut off from the sprinkler system. So we just shut off the valves for the sprinkler system to prevent the leak. He didn't make me feel dumb for this and he actually saved me money and was honest. He didn't try to nickel and dime me or rip me off. Had a negative experience with a different plumbing company in the past so I'm weary when I have to hire someone to get work done. I appreciate the excellent customer service and honesty and will hire this company and ask for Ryan for any work I need in the future. Thank you

Just used this company twice! One for my sink at home and the other sink at my restaurant business. Today David helped me fix a sink same day in no time! This company is affordable and prompt, I use plumbers all the time and glad I found Alpine. Highly recommend!

This company is honestly one of the best plumbing and rooter companies serving communities in the San Gabriel and Los Angeles counties. My house was built in the 50s and with all the neighboring trees, I use this company once a year to clear out my drains. They are responsive, professional and trustworthy. Kudos to one of their best technicians - THOMAS for coming through!!! I appreciate the hard work, honesty and the knowledge that you have. See you guys next year hahaha....

Been having issues with an object stuck in the toilet. Michael and John came out the very next morning and got the job done ASAP. They were very thorough and explained everything clearly. Will definitely ask Alpine for assistance again. AAA+++

The easiest plumbing repair call I have ever had. I messaged alpine on yelp and within 1 minute I got a response. I was lucky enough that their technician Matt was finishing up a job and was around my neighborhood. Matt called me and let me know he would be at my place in15 mins and immediately got to work. Luckily our clog was not as bad as we initially thought and he was able to get it fixed rather quickly. Also to add they were also they were the lowest quote I received. Highly recommend!!!
