Impressed with everything about this company. The communication was spot on and from the first contact, everyone has been super friendly and responsive. Javier came out today and instead of giving me a quote for pipe bursting which I told him I thought I needed, told me my system could hold up for years as long as we aren't abusing it with non-bio-degradable things down the drains. I assumed he owned the company based on his knowledge on not only the sewer but plumbing in general but if he's not, I'm even more impressed! He said a good hydro-jet would be worthwhile - don't know if they do hydro-jetting but calling about that now and if I do have a problem with my sewer, I know exactly who I'm calling!

We were in a dilemma with sewer lateral that broke on a shared driveway over 300'. We had several local companies come out and hand us huge quotes for complete lateral replacement. We found Alpha Trenchless out on San Pedro Rd doing a huge job. My husband stopped the car and went to ask them about our situation. Javi came out that same afternoon and we had a quote the next morning. They came out and worked for us quickly and methodically. We were so grateful as with a shared driveway where laterals were practically on top of each other not to mention all the utility cables to deal with.
We had everything accomplished in two days to our relief. They restored the ground to better than it looked before they started.
We hired them back to complete some other projects that we need to accomplish.
So happy we pulled the car over to approach them to help us.
Would recommend them highly with no doubts.

A long overdue review. I can't say how impressed I am with Xavier and his entire team. Getting a kick out of some reviews who complain about delays and non response ... hey folks this is plumbing and escavation - shite happens - literally! My sewer lateral was no exception. A beast of job - 300 ft. run down a steep driveway with 4 new cleanouts needed. Line was collapsed and in such bad shape Xavier couldn't even get a camera down to verify for public works permit. Xavier spent an entire morning just trying to clean out and get a clear run - most would have run from the job and Xavier stuck it out knee deep muck. Staff worked dilligently with public works department to jump hurdles and get permissioning (street had just recently been repaved) and final certificate of completion. Efficient, reliable, communicative AND extremely fair. Best contracting experience I have had in 40 years of building projects. FYI - I would skip the $50 rebates that arrive in the mail from Best of Marin and 5 star rated large plumbing firms. You will pay dearly. The quotes I received from these businesses were ridiculously overpriced - actually the price difference was embarrassing!

Great communication, quality work and super efficient. This is my second experience with replacing a sewer lateral and I was blown away by Alpha Trenchless's top notch service. Good communication, timely estimate and service and attention to detail. Everyone was so kind, hardworking and responsive to my concerns. Would not hesitate to hire them again!

I had another provider come to inspect my sewer line and after they told me that it needed to be repaired to the tune of $25k, I called Alpha Trenchless for a second opinion. They came out at no cost to me and called me right away to say that the line was fine and no service would be needed.
I so appreciate the honesty and the cost-savings that Alpha provided - if I ever do need service, they'll be my first call!

I'm shocked by the unresponsiveness of this company.

Based on the stellar reviews I read here, I had someone come out to quote us a price on a drainage project.

The person who came over had some good ideas about what needed to be done and promised someone would be by to do some further measurement so they could propose a bid.

A week went by. I reached out to the ownership on Yelp. Got a canned response.

Another week went by. Said they'd send me the proposal when it was ready.

Then.... ghosted?

My last message to them was ""if you are too busy to quote or do this project, I would appreciate the courtesy of a response.""

Crickets.

Reminds me of a saying I learned in business: ""How someone sells you indicates how they will decide you.""

Guess I got my answer.

** Update: I was further disturbed by the response to this review. It suggests I asked for free work. Not true, as evidenced by my multiple messages asking for an estimate for the repairs. I like to support our local businesses, but when business owners do not respond to prospective customers after promising to promptly follow up, this is the only recourse we homeowners have -- to warn others based on their experiences. **

We got three quotes to replace our sewer lateral, and alpha was by far the most reliable, responsive, and helpful of the companies. Patricia was an absolute rockstar to deal with, and their crew was fast, effective, and clean. It's amazing to have your yard look exactly as it was before the work was completed.

Alpha replaced old lateral sewer pipe from the house to sidewalk connection and added 90 feet of new sewer and water pipe for an ADU in Marin. Javier was prompt with a competitive bid. Patty scheduled the work and guided us threw the permit process. The crew arrived on time, updated odd and old plumbing, installed more than 100 feet of pipe, and returned carport, flagstone stairway, and landscaping back to pre-construction grandeur. Great team; Great job!

Communications and service was amazing....they got a sewer lateral replacement project done like a well coordinated team with scheduling, getting the permits and inspections done by properly licensed and experienced professionals. They know what they are doing, and get it done right and on time. I also had Patricia send me documents I needed without even asking. They are wonderful to work with.

We recently contracted with Alpha Trenchless to replace our sewer lateral and were so pleased with the excellent service they provided. From start to finish everything was done so professionally. The communication was top notch. My many calls and e-mails were answered promptly. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and knowledgeable. The crew was very skilled, got the job done quickly, and took care to protect our landscape. The clean-up was meticulous. Other than the patch in the street, there was no evidence that a big job had just taken place in our front yard!
Definitely a thumbs-up for a great local and family owned business!
