Update: I contacted them about issues regarding their service and they ignored me. I received a response ""to conduct a review of the matter"" and have not received a single update for the past month. I really feel like once they take your money, they just don't care anymore.

SUMMARY: Aloha Plumbing did not fix anything and charged us, and then absolutely ignored me when I made a complaint.

I texted Aloha Plumbing asking about a property my father manages that needed the main sewage line unclogged. I was told it was going to be $69 and that he'd give his guy, Michael, my info to contact me. I set up a day and time with Michael and informed him multiple times to call me beforehand as we do not live on the property.
Day of, Michael had to push the appointment and hour back, which was fine. However, he showed up 40 minutes early and then informed us. I was working for the day, so my father had to rush over there. I am informed later that, not only was Michael unprofessional and distracted on his phone, he took over an hour with ~75 ft of his machine and could not unclog the drain. He said that the problem was in the city's sewage line and that he could not do anything about that. Michael wanted to charge $89 because of the use of the ""bigger machine."" I received a phone call for the transaction and was charged $69 for the original price and for the unresolved problem.
Next, I call the city to check out the sewer line for that street, called my father to drive over there again to meet them. City worker says there is nothing wrong with the sewage system for that street and it HAD to be clog on the property.
My father called another company while I was working, arrived at the property for the THIRD TIME, they unclogged the sewage line in less than 10 minutes and only used ~45 ft of their machine. Unfortunately, we had to pay a higher price because it was so late in the day.

I brought up my complaints with the manager and have been ignored for the past few days!!! I guess they just take your money and don't care afterwards? Maybe their equipment is poor and they can't exactly do what they claim to do? I guess they can only do minor jobs like bathrooms and kitchens confidently? It's really your gamble

Aloha Plumbing is the best plumbing company around. I had an emergency at my house at 10pm, and they had a technician named Mike come out the next day. He fixed our issue and had an awesome attitude the whole time. The next time I have any plumbing issues, I'll call Aloha Plumbing and ask Mike to come out again.

Also, Aloha Plumbing provided us with the most affordable quote out of 3 companies. Great value and amazing service!

Aloha answered my call professionally, which was a great start. Initially I was happy with their service but now have realized that they are small time operation, the man who answers the phone has a bad back, he doesn't do any of the work and just subs it out. So he won't take any responsibility if something goes wrong, which happened to me. I have an old home with cast iron pipes, when he sent someone out they displaced ""by accident"" the cast iron pipes, which caused a huge amount of raw sewage to leak below my home. When I called a true professional plumber company they quickly diagnosed what happened, took care of it but in the end I had to spend and extra $3000 dollars to clean up their mistake. When I asked Aloha Plumbing how they felt about it, they basically said we have no money, pound sand. So you might want to think twice before giving them a call. I won't.

We had an emergency with our only working toilet on Saturday night, it was clogged and leaking water on the floor. We called Aloha plumbing for help on a Sunday morning, they replied right away and sent someone out and they fixed our toilet fast. The price was good to have them come out on a Sunday.

Paul just left here. Had the drain fixed within about 2 hours of first contact! Absolute professional with how quickly he was able to unclog a pesky drain. He went above and beyond with his professionalism and friendliness. I will definitely keep this business card on my go-to stack!!

Aloha plumbing is a great service to have. They should give out magnet business cards to put on your fridge.

Gave me pretty reasonable quote for a very messy situation at a rental property. It was an older home with cast iron pipe that had corroded away and caused a sewage spill underneath the house. Right away they said it would cost more because the problem was much worse than when they first looked. I said ok. Then there was another issue that they said could be corrected properly, but will be a separate project. A that point my cost had almost doubled.

In the end, the job was completed satisfactorily, but the second part was essentially put back almost like it was before because the scope required too much excavation. I still paid way too much for it all.

I think these guys probably do just fine on smaller jobs, just be prepared to say no when they say they're going to have charge more. I feel somewhat responsible for the cost overrun by allowing them to finish the job. On the upside, they were both honest and professional to deal with, just very expensive.
