We called this company in regards to a leak we had yesterday and they pushed us off until today. They gave us a window from 12pm-4pm and did not show. We called several times and the plumber would call back and say he's busy. Finally around 4pm he said he was on his way and it is now almost 6pm and work is getting done.

Fast and reliable! Mike is great and responds quick! Ryan came out to do all of our repairs (snake 4 sink drains, 3 tub drains and replace angle stops + hot & cold supply lines in our master bath). I am so bummed to have had such a bad experience by a company that has great reviews, but I would definitely not recommend them and here's why:

I called them since my landlord gave me their number last year (she used to use them for any issues) and my kitchen sink was backed up and going into my bathroom sink. It wasn't pretty! Mike was responsive when I called and Paul came out later that day.

Paul was attempting to fix the issue with my kitchen sink and the snake actually broke off into the pipes. He said what was happening was really bad and they were going to have to rip out the wall to replace the pipes and would need to get me an estimate later after speaking with Mike. Paul asked me to write a check for $85 and they would deduct it from the future service they were going to perform.

At this point, I called my landlord to let her know since this was a much bigger problem than I thought, and she told me she wanted to bring someone else out for a second opinion since she had issues with Aloha before. I figured she was just being dramatic, but of course had to oblige since this sounded like it was going to be such a big job.

Her plumber came out the next day and had difficulty removing the snake that got stuck in the pipe. It took some extra time, but not only did he fix Paul's mistake, he completely fixed the issue without needing to rip up the wall or do half of what was said would need to be done by Aloha.

I called Mike to let him know we fixed the problem and to discuss that I had written a check for $85 for an incomplete service. Since not only was the issue not resolved, but actually made worse, I had requested the check not be cashed. He said he would talk to Paul and call me back.

The $85 check was cashed, and Mike would not answer my two phone calls or text I sent afterward. So I paid $85 for someone to come to my house, break a snake off into the pipe (creating a larger problem for the next guy who my landlord had to pay), and then run off with the money.

Perhaps these guys are good for very small jobs, but I would *never* recommend them after my experience. If they recommend a large service, please get a second opinion, but know they are going to charge you for poor work.

Came out quickly for blocked kitchen. At house within couple hours at 8:30 pm. Cleared for what I consider good price during normal hours, none of the up charge for outside normal hours. Thanks for great service. Will keep number for any future plumbing needs.

Update: I contacted them about issues regarding their service and they ignored me. I received a response ""to conduct a review of the matter"" and have not received a single update for the past month. I really feel like once they take your money, they just don't care anymore.

SUMMARY: Aloha Plumbing did not fix anything and charged us, and then absolutely ignored me when I made a complaint.

I texted Aloha Plumbing asking about a property my father manages that needed the main sewage line unclogged. I was told it was going to be $69 and that he'd give his guy, Michael, my info to contact me. I set up a day and time with Michael and informed him multiple times to call me beforehand as we do not live on the property.
Day of, Michael had to push the appointment and hour back, which was fine. However, he showed up 40 minutes early and then informed us. I was working for the day, so my father had to rush over there. I am informed later that, not only was Michael unprofessional and distracted on his phone, he took over an hour with ~75 ft of his machine and could not unclog the drain. He said that the problem was in the city's sewage line and that he could not do anything about that. Michael wanted to charge $89 because of the use of the ""bigger machine."" I received a phone call for the transaction and was charged $69 for the original price and for the unresolved problem.
Next, I call the city to check out the sewer line for that street, called my father to drive over there again to meet them. City worker says there is nothing wrong with the sewage system for that street and it HAD to be clog on the property.
My father called another company while I was working, arrived at the property for the THIRD TIME, they unclogged the sewage line in less than 10 minutes and only used ~45 ft of their machine. Unfortunately, we had to pay a higher price because it was so late in the day.

I brought up my complaints with the manager and have been ignored for the past few days!!! I guess they just take your money and don't care afterwards? Maybe their equipment is poor and they can't exactly do what they claim to do? I guess they can only do minor jobs like bathrooms and kitchens confidently? It's really your gamble
