I was in need of a foundation inspection on a home I will be listing. I asked another real estate agent friend for a recommendation and she suggested Allied Foundation, said they've been around for years and a trust worthy company. So I scheduled the free consultation appointment with them. Jacob arrived at the appointment on time, and even called me ahead of time to provide an ETA. He was very professional, friendly, and personable. Jacob took the time to explain to me what he was looking at, if there was an issue with the foundation (thank goodness there wasn't!), and made some recommendations. Not for one minute, did I feel Jacob was there to "make things up" to make money as some companies would. Jacob even provided me in writing of proof for my potential buyers that foundation is not an issue. He offered his cell phone number to me for any buyers to call him if they want further peace of mind. Wow! This is what I called EXCEPTIONAL, OUTSTANDING, AND ABOVE & BEYOND SERVICE! I will definitely recommend Allied Foundation to other RE agents, customers, and family/friends!

Allied Foundation is now using high pressure sales techniques to secure business; which they have never done before in the past. I have recommended them to countless clients due to the no pressure sales technique.

They are now offering a "discount" if you do the job quickly vs "the normal rate" to secure business. When I called the company to report my concern they said "that is not a sales technique it's just a discount to get us jobs faster"

I've been in sales and marketing for a long time and that is most assuredly a pressured sales technique. After the way I was quoted from them on my own home yesterday I can say without a doubt that I will not use them to do my foundation repair.

It is very sad to see a long standing company in our community shift to such untactful sales techniques.

The front of our house had dropped 2 1/2". There was an 1 1/2" crack in the outer wall. There were interior cracks as well. Pantry door would not stay shut. Allied installed 17 piers under the house in 1 day!!!! Cracks have closed and are gone. Pantry door easily latches shut. Driveway door no longer sticks! Clean up was great. Price was fantastic at under $4000. Highly recommend Allied Foundation Repair. Jacob was extremely helpful.

I needed an inspection of a pier and beam foundation of a very old building. The conditions were dirty and unpleasant. Allied set an appointment at a convenient time for me. Andy called before arrival to let me know he was on his way. He arrived promptly and introduced himself. He patiently listened to my concerns. He then got to work, finding access under the building, and exploring throughout. After quite some time, he emerged with good news, that everything is in good shape and needs no work at this time. He was very thorough and professional. I will definitely use Allied again!

Allied performed my foundation repair with a lifetime warranty. The initial work was satisfactory, but years later when you try to get them to perform warranty work is difficult. They try to talk you out of needed the repairs even when the work is needed.

Had them out for foundation work and for plumbing. Both times they did an excellent job. I was in contact with both Jacob and Luis throughout the whole process and they were very helpful when it came to scheduling and the plan of action. Their crew were quick and did the job correctly. When they had to enter the house, they even took their shoes off. It's nice to see that they respect your house as much as you do. Once complete they cleaned the yard up and I was contacted the next day about the payment. Approximately 2-3 weeks out now and everything is good to go.

Find a better company. When they come back for warranty work in Lysa year they want to charge me for more stuff. They have just had done it right the first time. I live in Baytown the property does not flood. So that's why I say find a better company because they didn't do the job right the first time

I am a real estate broker who has had the opportunity to work with Allied in the past. I have referred clients to them when a foundation repair was needed to sell a home. My clients have all been happy with the work.

Last week I needed them to do a pier and beam repair on one of my rent houses. Not only did they get the house level again, the replaced a couple of beams under the house. The crew arrived in the morning, and by sunset I had a "fixed house". I will use the warranty as a selling feature when I list the home in a couple of week.


UPDATE (Aug 16, 2019) I got to see Allied at work again on another project. Just like before they stood behind their work. They kept tweaking the house until it was perfect. I have never seen so many hard workers UNDER a house at one time! It was like a military operation, and at the end of the day there was a level house.

This is the 2nd time I've used Allied Foundation. I used them a few years ago and they did a great job on the exterior of the house. I had them out this time to install piers on the interior. They are quick to respond on all levels. It's too early to know how well they did with the pier installation. I have ceramic tile which they had to drill into. They had to remove large sections of tile and concrete in order to install the piers. This was fine with me since I was going to have new flooring installed. The fill in was horrendous. The team left large jagged sections of floor filling in with concrete. They left large gaps. I thought I could bare it since I was getting new flooring. I finally had to contact Allied to come back out. I couldn't stand to look at the mess that was left. I called the next day and spoke to Jacob. He was awesome. He provided the level of customer service that one would expect. He went beyond and above the call of duty. I explained the situation and he immediately jumped on it. He sent a different team out to fix the mistake left by the 1st team. They did an amazing job. I was so focused on the interior mess that, I didn't notice some defects on the exterior. Again, I contacted Jacob. I explained the issue and informed him I would be out of town, but that he could send his team out to redo the repairs. He contacted me to let me know they were finished and asked me contact them if I find any additional problems. I came home several days later. Again, Jacob followed up to make sure that I was pleased with the work, which I was.
It's unfortunate that not all employees have the same qualifications. Those who either doesn't take pride in their work, or who has less experience, can give a company a bad reputation. Hopefully this review is helpful to Allied, as well as to consumers.
