After serving as a US Marine, Melvin pursued technical training in plumbing and HVAC in Arizona. After finishing school, Melvin gained experience at a leading plumbing company in Phoenix. After relocating to Georgia and working for several plumbing companies, he realized that none operated as efficiently as the Arizona company.
In 2003, Melvin and his wife Melissa, both veterans, launched Allgood Plumbing, inspired by the philosophy of treating others how they wish to be treated, a value that Allgood upholds to this day.
In 2013, we broadened our services to include electrical work and technicians, becoming Allgood Plumbing and Electric. Our growth continued with the addition of HVAC services in January 2016, responding to requests from our valued customers.
Currently, Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling employs more than 50 licensed and skilled team members who share our core values.

I had an emergency so called Allgood at 6pm. The two-hour wait (understandable) turned into 3 hours; I called and they said another hour. This was after 10pm. I called again around 10:30pm asking if at that point if anyone would show up, and they said they'd call the technician to have him call me. I waited up until 12am and no one ever called. At minimum I would have appreciated a call to say """"I'm sorry, no one is available tonight."""" This was terrible customer service.

I have a rental property and my property manager suggested Mr. Sparky come out to fix an electrical problem I was having with some outlets not working. They came out and said that my electrical panel busbar was melted and I needed a new panel and that it would cost $5000. I decided to get a 2nd opinion which was when I called Allgood to come out and take a look at it. Paul from Allgood took a look at the panel and said that everything looked great but that I had 2 bad breakers that needed to be replaced. He went out there knowing that the prior company had said the panel was bad and could have easily over sold me but he was honest and I really appreciated that. I then asked him out of curiosity if he were to replace my electrical panel how much it would cost and he said $1800. So not only did Mr. Sparky flat out lie about the repair needed he also quoted me $3200 higher than what it should have been. Thanks allgood for being honest and fair.

I want to start off by saying I've used Allgood in the past without any issues, but recently I called and let them know I had a water leak either from my ac unit or water heater since they were side by side. The tech informed me it was the water heater, I agreed to replace it even though the price was steep at $1500. Turns out the leak continued and it was from the ac unit which turned out to be less than $5 to repair myself. I'll also add that the tech mentioned the bottom of the water heater was rusted so I don't believe he was trying to deceive me, however he didn't even check the ac.

I am a dedicated user of Yelp and when I was told I had a leaky pipe in the crawl space under my home I went right to Yelp to find a reliable plumber. Allgood had numerous good reviews so they were my choice. The technician showed up on time went into the crawl space and came out five minutes later and told me not only did I have a leaky pipe but I had a broken sump pump totaling to a repair cost of $750. I thought that was incredibly expensive but I have a leaky pipe and a broken sump pump so I can't procrastinate I told him to do the work. Within 30 minutes he was done but guess what...the sump pump was fine. Boy was I happy $322.50 to fix a leaky pipe in less then 30 minutes. That equates to around $650 an hour. I am I in the wrong business. Bottom line I thought about this all day. It's 11 pm and I am sitting in bed writing my very first Yelp review. Sorry but I cannot help but feel that I have been played. There was nothing wrong with the sump pump and I am supposed to be relieved to only pay $322.50 to fix a leaky pipe. #feeling ripped off

Artificially inflated price. Took advantage of a disabled Veteran with severe breathing problems. 100% disabled and 100% service connected. On Oxygen. AllGood used a form of the bait and switch routine. Try to sell a ridiculously high priced unnecessary procedure ($2800): So the customer will be relieved to pay the smaller amount, even though it was double the expected price ($760). My roommate had set this up with AllGood, but he was out of town on business and could not be reached. Josh, from AllGood, did a simple repair on the shut off valve and short pipe (less than 2 feet) located just on my side of the front yard water meter. We had already diagnosed it long before his arrival. We were expecting between a $300 to $400 bill. Josh worked about 2 hours and used about $150 to $175 in parts. Josh (from AllGood) arrived and tried to sell me an un-necessary replacement of the line going from the water meter to my house (He wanted $2800). I was outside severely short of breath (COPD). I could barely stand up. He had me sign a paper for $760. No listing of labor cost. No listing of parts cost. In addition, He left leaving the yard torn up and created pot holes in the lawn that the lawn mower will fall into. Permanently damaging the mower. I wish there was a law: Stopping people from taking advantage of a disability. Strongly recommend that no-one ever use AlllGood services. John

All good is not a company for anyone to use. they do sloppy work at best. customer care, is non-existent. my parents and i have been without air conditioning for going on 6 days. shame on them for not trying harder. it was excuse after excuse. DO NOT USE ALLGood plumbing electric. by far the worst company i've interacted with

Horrible rude people - I had to replace my main water line to our house - they charged 4500 to do this - I showed the technician that my sprinkler line branched off and they told me they would reconnect it- i was unfortunately out of town when they did the work - when I came home it looked like someone rode a dirt bike through my lawn - NO care was taken to protect my grass like my irrigation system people do - where they use a spade and pull the grass out then put it back when they finish trenching - I cannot find the sprinkler valve box anywhere - I have talked to the technician repeatedly and called the office and even talked to the """"quality manager"""" who was completely rude and unless I give my credit card to them to pay for. Service fee they will not come back out - so their website says 100% satisfaction which is complete bullshit - they are about getting money and that's all.... Find a small plumber in your area and save yourself the headache

I just had some electrical work done by Allgood. They sent a licensed electrician and an apprentice. After taking at least fifteen minutes on a tablet to figure out pricing for a relatively simple job, they presented me with three options. All were exorbitant. I finally was able to negotiate a price which was down to double what it should have been. Because I needed to get this done within a narrow timeframe, I paid the price. However, in spite of the good work and very courteous technicians, I cannot recommend this company. Their pricing is beyond outrageous, but that's why there's the adage, """"Buyer Beware"""".

Way overpriced. They charged $360 for 45 minutes worth of work. They fixed a leaky toilet and replaced my kitchen faucet(I supplied the new faucet and parts). Next time I would definitely find a local plumber and not use a big company that charges an outrageous amount of money. They admit to charging more because their employees are trained and certified, however there are plenty of trained, certified, and professional plumbers that do not practice price gouging.

AVOID ALLGOOD! We have had a terrible experience with them. Our issues: 1) POOR SERVICE - we spent a significant amount of money with Allgood installing a new system in our home. The new system broke within about 2 weeks because they installed it incorrectly. Despite our house being 90+ degrees and the break was their mistake, they would not send someone out to fix it that day, and we had to wait until the next day. The fix took 2+ hours, and they kept telling me over and over """"only 30 more min."""" 2) Their 24/7 emergency service is a sham - If your house is 90 degrees and your small children can't sleep, you cannot count on them to help you. On 3 separate occasions we called them because our AC broke (once was right after they installed the new $7k system for us - see above) and our home was 90+ degrees. They were never able to come out to even diagnose the issue for at least 12 hours and usually more, and the fix would take even longer. 3) Lack of punctuality - they sent the same technician multiple times, and each time they'd call to say he'd be at my house in about 45 minutes. In both cases, I called after 75+ min had passed to ask where he was. In both cases, he was """"5 min away"""" and would show up almost immediately. The first time they claimed he had """"gotten lost"""" - for 30 min! The second time he """"hit traffic"""" when I could see that there was minimal traffic on Google Maps. 4) Disorganization - When I was sent a quote to replace our new system, the """"quote"""" sent back to me was just a number. No indication of what I was getting for that number. It took back and forth to get a satisfactory explanation of what the quote entailed. Later, when we wanted to install the system, they had no record of the quote, and I had to forward them email to show them the number I had been quoted. I cannot recommend Allgood to anyone. There are better services in Atlanta, and I suggest you find someone else.
