Allen's Plumbing
Company Overview
Allen began his journey in the plumbing industry in Santa Barbara, where he received an internship in the beginning 1970s decade. Having family in the area, Allen decided to take the leap to relocate his loved ones back the area. This proved to be difficult for him to work with other companies as Allen possessed a elevated benchmark and background in how a service business should perform for the clients. No one ran their firm with the same standards as the company he worked for in California. With a determination to prosper and a great deal of hard work, Allen created a company that stands on trustworthiness and reliability, putting the interests of our customers 1st. Allen's Plumbing Inc. swiftly became a domestic affair. Allen's partner took care of the books and took the inquiries day and night. With an thriving operation, the home and workspace grew quickly cramped to accommodate a firm. It was that Allen decided to relocate the business to its location on North 54th Avenue in St. Petersburg, FL, developing the land and building most of the current facilities.

Disgusting customer service, just because you have a strong accent they think you are broke, don't use this company, there racist, very disrespectful, finally got another company to help me .

If you want to pay $600 to have the same issue come up again a month later because they half did the job Allen's is the place for you! They did an emergency call and didn't do a thorough job of investigating the issue and then their technician literally got in my 75 year old mother's face and was very rude and unprofessional! Go with someone else or consider yourself warned.

Allen's Plumbing is the best you can get. Jamin always responds to requests immediately-even after hours! Their work is impeccable and they always aim to please their customers, even if it inconveniences them! I am the Regional manager for a large management company and Allen's Plumbing is the only plumbing company I call!

We are writing to highly recommend: Allen's Plumbing, Inc. 4219 54th Ave N, St Petersburg, FL as a full service utility company! We are a non-profit company housing a mobile home park. It has been Patio Village Inc. pleasure to be able to work with and alongside Allen's Plumbing in a 73 unit mobile home park with the installation of new individual water meters on each lot. Allen's Plumbing was instrumental throughout every phase. They provided accurate estimates, onsite job explanations, and assisted with all permits required by Pinellas Co. to final completion. Thanks to their dedication to the job, working every day and all day, Allen's Plumbing was able to complete this job in only one weeks' time, where other bids had estimated 2-3 weeks for this large project. Allen's Plumbing completed the water meter installation project on time and on budget. Allen's Plumbing was professional, organized and a pleasure to work with. Allen's Plumbing Supervisor Jamin G. was absolutely wonderful to our members answering questions and offering solutions to their plumbing issues. Patio Village Board Members were very pleased with how well Jamin G.and his crew worked with us. I am confident that Allen's Plumbing will continue to be an excellent choice of a plumbing contractor. I'd leave no stars if I could. Worst customer service from the owner in my life. Called them to come out, after recommendations from my HOA. Should have checked the reviews first, I certainly would have """"NOT"""" called Allen's Plumbing. My story begins with a clogged up toilet, which was occasionally working and then sometimes it would not. On a call to Allen's plumbing I was told that a technician would go out and investigate and that they would call me with the results. I was further told if they found nothing that they would check with the HOA to see if others in building were having problems as well. I said I understand the process and would be waiting to hear from them. About two weeks later a get a bill for $146.00 for snaking the toilet, flushing it several times, and reportedly there was nothing found. I was not there when all of this was done, the tenant told me that the tech stayed about 20 minutes and they did not remove the toilet to check for obstructions as well. I would have expected that for almost $150.00 the toilet would have been removed, then snaked the line etc. I went by to talk to the owner (Allen) about this and that I would be willing to pay a service charge but paying for the snaking of the toilet I would not. I feel the snaking was not effective, because a few days after they performed this service the toilet stopped up again. Which at this time, I got in my car and drove from Tennessee to St Petersburg to fix this issue. Went to Home Depo, rented a snake and got a new wax seal. Removed the toilet, inspected the toilet, snaked the line, put everything back and have not had a problem since. So, I just wanted an answer and to discuss this bill with Allen. Well Mr Allen totally ignored me by staying outside blowing his parking lot off and chatting with his employees while I waited. He knew I was there and even told me he was coming inside. Well after waiting for 20 minutes total, I left. I guess that was his plan to ignore me and it worked. It worked so well, thanks. This was and has been the worst customer service from a company owner I have ever had. I have spent over 20 years in the military, having dealt with hundreds of companies and business owners and all of these dealings have not been great, but people are always respectful and willing to listen, talk, and work to resolve a customer issue. I am going to make it point to inform my HOA, the BBB, and all of social media about this company and their business practices and the way I was disrespected. If he was not going to cut anything off the bill, just be a man and come and talk to me about it. Such a cowardly act! """"NOT RECOMMENDED""""

I called at 9:30AM and they were at my door by 1:30pm - for non-critical part replacements. Both Steve and Bill were very professional and took care of the job timely and efficiently. Good call on my part, sticking with a name I trust.

Beware! This company tried to """" take me for a ride"""". The work they estimated as costing 5k (possibly more) was completed by another licensed and reputable plumbing company yesterday. Cost $535!

Had a middle of the night emergency and called. They sent a technician who was capable and worked hard and fixed the broken pipe. They came back a day later to fix related problems and did not charge a second call fee. They fixed that quickly and only charged for the short time it took. Fair, talented and available that's as good as I could wish. Would use them again.

We had Allen's come out for an 2nd opinion estimate. We were quoted about $2000 for replacing pipes with roots and jetting the entire house by another company. When Allen's came out, he listened to the issues, checked the drain outside, and looked at the affected sink and shower. He felt that the solutions the prior company suggested were not necessary. He did not try to sell us anything and we were very happy that he felt that our plumbing was not in dire straits. He suggested how to clean the pipes ourselves as general maintenance. For a company to come out and not try to sell SOMETHING says a lot in this day and age. In the meantime, we will be emailed an estimate for the optional work and more extensive diagnosing, if necessary.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!!This company overcharges!!!. Did not informed me there would be overtime charges for work done at 4:00 pm. Charged me 1.5 hours labor for 30 minutes of work. Charged for """"Traveling Time, gas fees, diagnosing fees and stocking fees""""; did not provide an itemized bill until I begged for one and for replacing a flange in a toilet the total bill was $408.26. WATCHOUT!!!!
