After requesting an estimate, I was told they can put me on the schedule. The day of the appointment they could not give me a time window and told me there is an $89 fee to give me an estimate. Very unaccommodating and non-transparent about their fees. Would not recommend.

Second time using allbritten, and second FAIL! They're always trying to upsale things you don't need.
Allbritten charge you $89 for a diagnosis fee whether they figure out your issue or not.
The tech came out, checked on the unit because my heat wasn't working. He couldn't figure it out. At first he blamed the breaker. And he got on the roof checked out the unit claims that it was the transformer And the motherboard. Told me they both need replacing. I okayed it he was already cutting wires. About $1000 in repairs Came back down, let's say 20 minutes later. Says to me, ""need to double check your breaker again a different way"". Checks it, and then tells me yeah your breaker is out you need to call electrician. Charges me the $89. And so I called an electrician, he comes out says Albritton is full of shit your breaker is great it's old but it works. He then goes onto my roof check the unit, check the breakers on the unit, on the roof. Said they work perfectly. And then presses the manual switch button on the unit, and my unit kicks back on! Boom, works again. I called a second HVAC guy to come out and maintenance and double check my unit because the electrician said there was arcing and burn marks on my unit. Second guy comes out checked my unit, maintenances it and he told me that by looking at it, what probably happened was when allBritton was up there they probably tripped the breaker, the unit probably died and he couldn't get it back up and running, came back down, check the breaker and blamed it on the breaker. So now I'm out $89 for Albritton, I'm out money for the electrician and Also had to pay the second HVAC guy his fee as well. All because Albritton tech Are inexperience. They miss diagnosed my unit, and I'm in the whole for trusting a company that obviously just using good at what they're doing. You could've just been honest and said ""I have no idea what's wrong with it ""and not charge me the fee I just left. I would've been OK. Will I ever see my $89 probably not. Allbritten I deserve a refund!

Plumbers, any plumber, are not cheap. You want someone who will do the job right for your money. These folks give you the information you need to make the right choice? I was told the cost could be $600 to $1500. Shockingly the job came in at the lower number and solved my problem. Chris from Allbritten has come out to fix several to fix different problems. Good guy, good plumber, provides all the information I needed. Highly recommend him and his company.

Shame on Me!!

Let me tell you a little story.....

About a month ago, it was 110 degrees outside and our air conditioner went out. We called Allbritten, they came out that day and bandaged it up with a new capacitor. The people were very nice, but it was time we needed a new unit. The salesman came out; he was also very nice and quoted us a price for a new unit. Well, we thought they would be Competitively priced with all the other companies and I wouldn't have to call around for different quotes. That is where I made my BIG MISTAKE, my fault entirely. Well, we bought the unit and after talking to family and friends and telling them what we paid, their reaction was...YOU PAID WHAT!!
That's when I called around and priced out the EXACT same unit, apples to apples, and they were not just a little bit less, but 4-5 THOUSANDS DOLLARS less than ALLBRITTEN!!

I'm only posting this because I don't anyone to make the same mistake I did.

MORAL of the STORY... in less you have money to just through away, check with OTHER companies FIRST!!

We had our Ac/heater serviced by Vincent Rodriguez and he did an outstanding job!! Very thorough and meticulous to ensure our unit is working at optimum levels. If you need any service done, request Vincent you will not be disappointed!

Had a diagnostic done on my AC unit from another HVAC repair company that stated I needed to replace the compressor. Called Albritton to get pricing on replacing the compressor to compare but they would not give me pricing on the replacement without charging me $89 to come out to do another diagnostic... I fully understand that they would need to do their own diagnostic prior to performing the repair but all I wanted was a price comparison for the replacement of the compressor. I have the model number etc. and that's something they should've been able to do. Very disappointed and will not be utilizing them for any of my properties!

i agree with some of the other people regarding the price. We are old and sick. while they were very friendly, I am very upset because first they quoted us 6000$ for a new air conditioning system. I don't have that kind of money but I might be able to scrape together 3000 if I don't pay my mortgage. it's so hot we're dying, so I thought I could put down 3000$ and finance the rest. Then they suddenly remembered that there's a new regulation and the price jumped to 8800$. There's no way so they put us in for a loan. We were denied. I have never been turned down in my life. They said we had no credit history. I am 64 years old and have credit cards which I stopped using when I retired. I am really upset about this and feel abused and taken advantage of. Then a friend told me they are bad. I think it's elder abuse. I am leaving California. I can't afford to live here anymore. How do they think we bought this house with no credit? I fee scammed.

Allbritten came out and replaced two toilets and unclogged our drain for us when we first moved into our house in June. They came out the same day I called and they completed the work efficiently and completely. I would not hesitate to hire them to do any work I need to be done in the future.
You will notice I gave them a 5-star rating and I would not consider anything less than 5.

Wait a minute ! I used this company many times ! I had a rental and before I sold my residence they serviced both homes ! Did a excellent job . People need to stop complaining about prices !!! I have 4 rental houses in Waco Texas and the prices over there are expensive as hell ! But I'm not complaining. This is a very trustworthy company . The ladies that answer the phone are super nice and I bet they get rude people who want their stuff fixed now , just like everyone else . Car dealerships your ac is out in your car it may be weeks before they get you in . It's hot I get it people act different in crisis . Relax , once these guys get to your issue the outcome will be Superior ! Have I used this company recent I have not . I'm putting this review from 5 years of service I got from them in 2 of my properties , I highly recommend the 2 anual services they do on your units ! Worth every penny .

Called to get our ac unit service and service guy came out and did work but was not authorized to charge us and didn't get a call from him saying what we needed . They charged us 600.00 , I called the company and customer service said I sign for when I wasn't even home . Service manager called and said that he can refund all my money but take out all the refrigerated out or comp me back my 89.00 diagnostic fee but keep all 500 . We will never use this company again ! We use this this company 2x but this will be last time ! Make sure you are always home to make sure work isn't done untill authorize by you !
