Recommended Customer Reviews

I've had Albritton out three times now. And two of the visits have been very efficient. I wrote a review on their first visit, but that's the past.
Today, I want to tell you about The great customer service I received. During my summer maintenance check, Jose found a gas leak in The line to my heater. He mentioned it, said he'd turned off the gas, and that I should call for follow up visit. Now, it's cold, and I wanted to turn on my heater. I called this morning about nine, and they were here this afternoon by four. However, there was a misunderstanding between us, I thought it was part of the maintenance package, and it was actually a separate issue and therefore considered a service call. Ebert, who came out to fix the leak, quoted the charge and I explained the mis understanding. He called his boss, Dave, who said he was sorry for the misunderstanding and there would be no charge.
I love it when businesses do right by the customer!! I'll be calling Allbritten again!!

My Moms toilet valve went out they ""Adam"" fixed it then 3 weeks latter flapper went bad and they fixed it with no service fee part only. Good job!

Recently my elderly grandma's furnace went out. I happen to hear an advertisement for Albritten. They were offering a $9 diagnostic. I called at 2 and they were here and done by 3:30! The technician, Matt was so friendly and knowledgable. Thankfully the issue was minor. I would highly recommend them and I will feel comfortable using them in the future!

so our thermostat went out last week around 2ish and we couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. typical of my hubby of course, he tried fixing it himself even going out to by a new one but yeah that didnt work out -_-
anyway we called the 559 nmbr on the thermostat which was for central air to see how much it would cost for them to come out to our home to see what the problem was and they said it would cost $99 :O
we passed and i decided to get on yelp to see if i can find any ac place worth calling then stumbled across this one.
man am i glad i did! it was only $59 for them to come out, the lady on the phone told us a tech would be there around 5-8 (he arrived exactly at 5) got on the roof where our unit was, did his business, figured out the problem and fixed it within an hr!
i would definitely recommend them if you're having an ac problem :)

We have had Allbritten do several jobs for us including AC maintenance, toilet installation, and hot water heater instillation. They always do a great job and their prices are reasonable. A while back, we couldn't figure out why our kitchen faucet had little water pressure (this was a brand new faucet because we thought the old faucet was the problem). We called someone else first. The guy spent over an hour trying to figure out what was wrong and he could not solve the issue. We called Allbritten and the plumber was here maybe 10 minutes and had the faucet working! We have used Allbritten ever since.

A nice service tech was able to diagnose a problem I had been having for a long time with my AC unit. The thing would make a loud bang noise when I started it. Over a couple of years I had several companies look at it and charge me several hundred dollars each to change out parts. It wasn't until Allbrittens tech came and finally determined the problem. I was so happy. He told me that he was familiar with the AC units put in my subdivision back in the 1980s. There was a certain manufacturers retrofit that needed to be performed. No one else could figure out. Thank you!

My Mom's air conditioner quit working in the early evening during an extremely hot valley week. We looked for a company to call and found ABC Cooling. We gave them a call and figured we would need to leave a message, but someone answered and was able to schedule an appointment for us for the very next morning. Mathew from ABC came out and had to climb up into the attic. He was able to fix the problem while he was at her house and by the time he left, her house was already cooling off. He along with all of the Allbritten staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I will DEFINITELY call out ABC (Allbritten) again if I have any problems and would highly recommend them.

Allbritten came out less than 12 hours after my initial contact (only one of those hours were normal business hours). The techs that arrived were friendly, courteous and patient with my questions. They diagnosed the problem and had the necessary replacement parts on hand. The part needed had several choices for which the tech explained the difference in price and quality without pressure to purchase the more expensive one. The communication was thorough and pressure free.
Overall, I would use this company again and recommend to a friend.

BUYER BEWARE. I would NOT recommend using Allbritten for HVAC work.
Although I had my regular guy come out and service my A/C unit last month, it stopped working on Sunday. Not the hottest day of the month, but close to it. I called my regular guy. After getting no answer, I called Allbritten because they supposedly work 24/7. They set an appointment for Monday 10-2.
Tony, their repairman came out. I explained that when I went to turn the A/C down, I noticed that the thermostat was completely blank (evidently it just needed a AAA battery) and not working, and so the A/C wasn't working either. Tony went on the roof to examine the unit. He told me that the coil and another part needed to be replaced. It would cost about $2000. I recalled that the existing unit was $3500 to install, so I thought replacing, rather than repairing might be a better idea. Tony put 2# of Freon in the unit and charged me $219.00. But, I had to replace the standard AAA battery in the thermostat myself to get the unit working.
Rick Baker, their salesman came to examine the system and give me a quote. He said that the newer energy efficient units need more air to operate and I would need to upgrade the ducting from the register to the unit. To install a new Carrier 5 ton 13 SEER unit would cost $9103.00.
On line, I found that a Carrier 5 ton 13 SEER unit costs $1700-2400.00 (full retail, which I'm sure Allbritten does not pay). So, the installation was going to cost $6000+.
Today, I called my regular guy who came out to take a look. He said that there is nothing wrong with the coil, but that Allbritten had overcharged the A/C unit by putting too much Freon in it. The coil and compressor were sweating, which could lead to damage. He bled off the extra Freon (bye bye $219). He said the A DEAD BATTERY WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING. He also said that they would not charge me more than $5,000 to install a new unit and that the existing ducting would not need to be changed to handle the new unit as the only difference is that newer units use less electricity.
I will never call Allbritten again, nor would I recommend them to a friend.

I was not satisfied with their services. However, their customer service is good. Sent me a regal card gift card to compensate for my unhappiness. It was a nice gesture of the company, but still does not compensate for what happened.
