The guys at All-Star are fantastic - I really can't say enough nice things about them. We initially had our furnace serviced and a crack was found in the unit. The supervisor then came out to check the assessment and make sure that nothing was missed. We discussed various options and decided to replace our heating/AC unit. After I signed the contract, the team came out the next day. A crane removed and installed the roof unit in 15 minutes. The crew worked a very long day to get the unit installed and working correctly. We had previously had rooms that didn't cool/heat properly - that is all fixed. I really couldn't be happier with the various guys from All Star that came out, the end result and the price.

I know I've recommended Victor and his guys at All Star Plumbing before but I need to add to it.

They just successfully opened a drain-this was no ordinary stoppage-it was way way far down and had no opening in the pipe even for a power snake. The house was built in 1966 and I'm guessing the build up was that long in the making.

Any other plumber would have resorted to jack hammering my lower level to access the problem area which Victor said might be necessary. But Victor did not give up.

He and Sam gave it one last try and saved me from the headache and expense of digging up the foundation.

His persistence, knowledge and dedication to his customers is outstanding.

Victor really is amazing. I called on a Sunday night (of a 3 day weekend) and he managed to fit us in the very next day. Our AC decided to stop working in the middle of a heatwave on a holiday weekend, but it was no problem for him. He was quick, efficient and very reasonably priced. And he was masked and cognisant of all Covid protocols. Will definitely use his company when it's time to clean out our filters, and highly recommend him to anyone.

Victor was knowledgable and provided timely service. He was able to get freon injected and supplied a little more to get me going temporarily. My issue was that there was a leak in the mini AC split and ran out of cool. He suggested to call the initial person install as finding the leak would be more costly to service on his end or getting a new unit. He was honest about the options i had. I will use him as my local plumber and AC in the future. He was nice enough to work with me on pricing which was reasonable.

It got to 100 degrees on Saturday and our AC crapped out. We're also stuck inside because of the pandemic- so we were sweltering. We called All-Star because they were close and had great reviews on here. They were swamped because we weren't the only ones in this situation, but they said they'd send somebody out Monday.
First thing this morning we got a text, they were here right on time wearing a face mask. They worked for two hours, fixed the problem, gave recommendations for the future, and now the AC is blasting cold air again. Great Experience!

We started to hear a constant hissing sound from our bathroom pipes during this pandemic, that grew louder and more concerning each day. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from, just that it was somewhere around the bathroom and lifting the cover to the toilet reservoir didn't do anything. We didn't want it to get to a bad point and so searched for a reputable plumber.

First call:
After calling Victor at All Star Plumbing on a Saturday and describing the issue, he confirmed it was likely a leak and offered a two-hour window to send someone over to take a look on Monday. We rescheduled for the day after since it worked better for me, and texted him our address for service and my number. Since my husband was immunocompromised I asked, if he could make sure to send someone with a mask on? ""Absolutely - we always come prepared"". Love it!

The day of:
Jose arrived early, with a mask on, in the 2-hour window as promised. He listened to the leak from where we heard it, and had Victor explain to us that it's likely a leak within the pipe in the wall, or perhaps a leak in the pipes under the house if not. First option would need us to cut into the wall, and they had referrals on hand for a drywall repair person in case it came to it. But before we did that, Jose went through the crawlspace to take a look at what was going on under the house - he emerged showing us a video of a pipe spraying water under our house! He also showed us how the piping for the house in general was in bad shape, old copper piping.

Our information:
So we had two options: fix the current leak, or replace the old piping entirely - the cost for the leak was fair and the fix could be done same day, and we were also given a ballpark estimate for the replacement for the piping based on the size of our house, but the amount was too high for us right now. They definitely recommended it for us though, since they couldn't tell when the next issue might pop up due to the aging plumbing - so it is on the list of future house improvements. I was very glad for Victor walking through our options in a clear and easy to understand manner, and also for not pressuring us for the larger sale today and just giving us the information and option to have a free appraisal for the job later.

Jose turned off the water main, fixed the leak quickly and voila, was done with us for the day.

Parting thoughts:
We had a great experience, true to the reviews on NextDoor that led us to them in the first place. It was easy to communicate with All Star Plumbing, from our first notice of the issue in our bathroom to finally calling them a few days later, to the fix, all spanned in a week - very quick. Excellent and would work with them again.

They made is seamless with contacting our renter directly, setting up a two hour window, and showing up promptly as promised. The renter said they were very professional, knowledgeable and fixed the issue quickly without over charging. We will definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with this business. They did a plumbing job that required replacing some old traps under my bathroom sinks and locating and replacing a non-standard sized pipe under a French vanity. Not only did they do an excellent job, they did it in a timely manner and in time for my holiday guests. I recommend this business highly.
