It is hot as hell this summer and our AC goes out. While one company wouldn't take any more appointments and another couldn't come out for two weeks, Victor moved things around for us and came out the same day. He found the problem right away (capacitor), fixed it and check the entire system. He said the refrigerant was a little low but if it still felt cool, I could wait. I will call Victor again for my HVAC and plumbing needs.

I called Victor of All Star Plumbing Heating & Air on the recommendation of some Eagle Rock neighbors, and he and David were everything I'd been led to expect: easy to contact by phone, on time for an appointment we set for the next day, and quick to analyze and solve the leak around my dishwasher caused by a partially clogged drainage hose. Both men were polite and pleasant, fastidious about preparation and clean-up, and the fee was more than reasonable. A great experience.

Of course, my air conditioning goes out in a heatwave. Victor responded quickly to my phone message, told me he was not expert in the kind of system I have, but said he would contact a colleague. I heard from him again shortly afterward, and he and his colleague came the same day. They had the part I needed and replaced it right away. They also gave me some advice about how I might better use my air conditioning system, replaced the filter, and gave me another spare filter. They were responsive, friendly, courteous, efficient and effective. I was grateful they were recommended to me and would definitely use their services again.

This is the best plumber! Don't bother going else where! He came in an emergency & he was new to me! I tried to use him another time & he was too busy & of course it was another emergency so he referred me to a friend who was also great...today I called him about a leaking pipe & he showed up & repaired it for only $300! I want to add my hearty recommendation to All-Star regarding HEAT. I have read lots of reviews about their plumbing services, (which I'm sure are great) so I just want to add that they installed a new gas heater in our home and everything was perfect. Victor and his crew were exactly on time, did great work, very efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. The price seemed totally fair. One note: The unit was shipped from the factory without screws to attach a small cover at the bottom - no big deal, but Victor returned the following week to finish that detail, and while here, he even helped me rehang a large picture he'd asked me to remove in advance of cutting into the plaster wall. Victor is very pleasant & friendly - but also, he does not chit chat - he gets right to work and gets the job done. When the wind tripped a switch in the unit, I texted him & he came back within 10 mins of my text and re-set it for no charge! Thanks Victor! I wish everyone ran their business this way.

I called All Star because my kitchen sink was totally backed up. My kitchen sink doesn't drain well and we tend to get a lot of sludge and gunk in it over time. It finally totally backed up with standing water so I needed a plumber fast! First place I called, the guy on the phone was grumpy and said he didn't have anyone in Fullerton and ""call somebody else""! I checked my local newspaper and saw an ad for All Star Plumbing (with a discount coupon for drain cleaning), so All Star was my second call. Since I never used All Star before, I checked Yelp reviews and they looked very good. A courteous, friendly female answered the phone on the second ring. Sent out two plumbers (Joe and someone else, can't recall his name) within a few hours. Hard workers, clean, efficient. I really liked that they used a shop vac to clean all the gunk out of my trap and blocked line (vs. dumping a bunch of black goop out in my garden like plumbers in the past). In addition to fixing my backed-up kitchen sink, I ask them to install new water supply line valves to my washing machine and take a look at my dishwasher (not draining properly). I still have a couple minor issues with the dishwasher, but Joe did a great job fixing everything. I asked him to come back the next day to hydroflush out my old corroded, gunked-up cast-iron drain line. He showed up exactly as promised and did a great job. No big high-pressure up-sell (like so many of the other plumbing companies do). Hard-working, honest, and the price was fair. It's taken me a long time to find a good plumber, but I'm going with Joe at All Star from now on!

Highly recommend All Star Plumbing. Long story short, was bamboozled by a different guy (sent by my home warranty company, no internet presence) who misdiagnosed a problem, tried to fix it, and created a different (more expensive) problem...then refused to come back. Victor and Rene of All Star to the rescue. Came out, identified the part he needed, back a few days later to install. Bim-bam-boom, problem fixed. Victor was very friendly and kept me informed of what was going on during the entire process. All interactions should be as satisfying!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice ... I don't doubt that they do good work, if they ever make it. Called to make a service appointment and he offered to be there the next afternoon. He sounded friendly and knowledgeable. As requested, we exchanged texts to confirm the appt. I took off time from work to be there. No call, no show. I had to text, only to find out that he was stuck in an emergency. Ok, I understand. He rescheduled two days later, only to cancel again. His response, ""sorry, small shop"". Ok, it's August and 100 degrees, but not a way to run a business.

We had guys from All Star out to the house to give us estimates on a full HVAC installation as well as as a $3-5K plumbing job. They told us they'd go back to the office, work up the quotes, and email them to us, but weeks went by and we never heard back. I even sent a reminder message on Yelp that went unanswered.

Not sure why they don't want our business.
