I hate to say this about Twan, really nice guy but here it goes. I had a pretty bad clog at my business. I was told there was no clean-out on the building. Twan did a short inspection of the building also concluded there was no clean-out. He told me it would be $100 to snake the drain and that I would have to pay if he fixed it or not. He snaked it to 100 feet, he then told me he would have to add an extension to go another 50 feet and that it would be $50 Dollars extra. The entire time he was here, I heard all about his vacation he was going to take the next day and how he would be unavailable until the following week. Which leads me to think he did a half assed job. He couldn't break the clog he told me the next step would be to open up the wall break open the pipe and snake it deeper. $150 toilet still broken.
7 months go by, Not wanting to pay another plumber with no success again I finally give in and call roto rooter. Within 10 minutes he finds the clean-out outside. it took him 25 minutes to do what Twan couldn't do in a Hour and a Half. rotor rooter guy Snaked it to 120ft and broke the clog. 179 dollars and 20 minutes later I have a Working toilet.
Not happy I had to pay 150 dollars to someone who didn't know what he was doing and didnt even bother to find the cleanout!

I think it's safe to say that Twan has established himself as our family plumber. We've called on him several times over the years: water regulator replacement, pipe leak in ceiling/wall, garbage disposal install and, most recently, a water heater replacement. We were referred to All Star Plumbing by a trusted family friend and are quite thankful for that timing.
A few days ago, we called Twan and arranged for our leaking water heater to be replaced. Twan showed up ready to do the job, examined and noted the leak and initially agreed that it warranted replacement. But then he began working on the water heater and determined the cause of the leak to be from loose connections. Our water heater, although years old, was not yet ready for the scrap heap after.
Despite the fact that we've found Twan to be nothing but the consummate professional, he truly conducts his business as though he's helping his friends. How many other plumbers go an extra mile to keep their customers from spending more money unnecessarily on bigger jobs?

Toan is the best around! He always gets the job done. I knew I needed a remodel but wasn't quite ready. He was able to fix all the plumbing issues and I was able to wait 2 additional years. He is awesome and very inexpensive!

Wow! Twan did a great job replacing garbage disposal and sink faucet, he was in and out and everything is working perfectly. He is a very neat worker and cleaned up everything (awesome). He even fixed a few small things he noticed that wasn't part of his original scope. His pricing is on point. I'm smiling today, no stress. Jessie PD

I cannot say enough about Twan and his amazing service. His rates are always reasonable, he always provides both prompt and friendly service, and he will never sell you on products or services you don't need. I have called him out for everything from a clogged shower to a main line clean out and to fix a gas shut off valve. He always does fast work and has never overcharged me or broken the bank. If you want to support an amazing owner operated plumber he is the man!

I found Twan on Yelp. He had all 5 star reviews, so I gave him a call. I'm selling my house and the inspector wanted the water heater checked out to make sure there wasn't an active leak. Twan came out and looked at the water heater and determined that there was not a leak. I requested to have the information put in writing and he said there would be a fee for that, which I said was fine. It has now been almost a week and after repeated emails, phone calls, and texts, I haven't gotten the written letter simply stating that there is no leak. I need this in order to close escrow on my house. Needless to say this has been very upsetting and frustrating for me. Although he may be excellent at repairs, he has completely ignored my requests for a simple piece of paper stating that there is nothing wrong with my water heater.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Twan while an employee of a business. The business sewer line backed up several times during the course of a year, due to the nature of the location and people flushing items that should have been thrown in the trash. Each time Twan arrived, he was positive, professional, and a really nice guy. I enjoyed talking with him. I find him to be an honest, truthful person, hard working gentleman that provides for his love ones without gouging the public. When I experienced a problem with my home garbage disposal, I didn't hesitate to call Twan. He gave me an appointment , showed up on time, he the installed the disposal for the price he quoted over the phone. The area was left clean and the disposal was installed correctly. I do not and will not hesitate to recommend All Star Plumbing , Twan (owner) , and his assistant , Nikko. Should I have any additional plumbing work done in my home, it will be Twan that I call upon for his honesty, fair pricing, and excellent plumbing knowledge,

Twan is the best, no point checking out anyone else! I read the yelp reviews and have used him twice already. He is honest, reasonable priced and is a really great human being. He is professional and quick. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

No need to get additional estimates! Twan was fast and affordable. He took time to explain the problem, show me the parts replaced, and suggest other changes I should to to improve the life of my water heater.
I had a leak above my water heater and I saw some mold near the leaking area. Thinking the worst, I called two mold removal companies to get estimates. One quoted about $1500 (including what they thought a plumber would charge of about $400), the other quoted between $2400 and $4000 to do a very extensive repair and cleaning job (not including any plumbing work to fix the actual problem).
Since the leak needed to be addressed as soon as possible, I called Twan based off these Yelp reviews, he came out in less than an hour and one hour later was finished. Total cost was $160.
The mold was completely localized to the drip right at the pipe. A 5 minute inspection and quick cutting of the drywall correctly diagnosed the problem where two other contractors just pointed devices at the ceiling to no avail.
He is a professional that I will refer out and I have already happily used a referral he gave me (Joe) to fix a landscaping problem.
Thanks Twan!

Not only was Twan professional, he was very friendly, fast, and knew his stuff. Great customer service and very honest and fair. We will only be using Twan in the future!
