We were so relieved to find a reliable company that did heating, ac and plumbing in our area (Fernley). However, that relief was short lived when the repair costs started to pile up. We first had All Hours out for a laundry box replacement at which time the technician sold us on their Comfort Club which includes a couple yearly HVAC inspections and a discount on parts/labor. Being new homeowners and since we had already had a few plumbing hiccups, it was an easy sell. Fast forward a few months and a receptionist calls to schedule our heating start up. The technician was very friendly, we informed him that our unit was heating/working great. 5 minutes later, we were told that 2 parts inside our hvac needed to be replaced immediately and that the total was ONLY $800. We pay, he fixes and leaves. Spring rolls around and we call to schedule our AC start up. The same technician arrives, chats a bit about our concerns and before even inspecting the unit, informs us that we will need a new condenser and coil. The quote he sends over is $9,000-$13,000 for a budget condenser (Day and Night) and new coil. We opted to get a few more quotes and we are so glad that we did. The quotes that we received for top brands like Lennox and Carrier were almost half what All Hours Air quoted us. In fact, the other companies laughed when we told them of our experience and quotes from this shady company. One company even went so far as to tell us that our $800 HVAC bill should have cost less than $200. Needless to say, we got a whole new energy efficient Lennox system (AC and HEATER) installed for $7000. Do not let the friendly demeanor and ""we only recommend what you need"" slogan fool you, this company is shady with terrible business practices.

TERRIBLE COMPANY.

We contacted All Hours Air LLC a few days earlier and requested tune up services for 10 air conditioning units as well as refilling two units with freon, located in our office building at 6100 Plumas Street, Reno Nevada.
On Friday, April 10th , The company sent two technician who arrived around 10 in the morning - Instead of the tune up and refill of freon which we had requested, they spent their time ""inspecting"" the 10 units we have in the office building, and gave us a pricing list for the several units, which they claimed need significant repairs. I am attaching this list which ranges between $14,885 or $16,016.Depending how cleverly they are going to defraud us, should we be dumb enough to agree to their counterfeit.
They arrived around 10 o'clock in the morning, after about an hour they decided to go to lunch, upon their return, I asked them if they were tuning the air conditioning units and if they were filling the two units which needed freon, after being given no affirmative response, I contacted their office and spoke with the office manager by the name of Jim, who assured me that they were going to go and purchase freon and return to the office building to complete the job.
Upon their return - my assistant and I wanted to know if they had filled the air conditioning units with freon, but to our bewilderment, they blabbered combatively and told us that there were many issues with the air conditioning units which needs to be repaired. When my assistant asked, they if they tuned up the air conditioning units, their reply was, ""your definition of tune up is different than ours"", they demanded that we pay $890.00 immediately, evermore combatively.

I had a water heater pipe burst a couple of Fridays ago and when I called, Heather was great and friendly and set up an appointment for between 10 and 12. Nick and his assistant arrived about 10:30 and the repair went well. Great service!

RIP OFF HVAC Service, do not use them, they try to upsell you and price gouge hoping you will pay a premium for their service. They also won't send you an invoice with a parts and labor breakdown which is pretty standard in the industry, which points to them trying to pad their fees. They also will try to take advantage of you if you are female, as they assume if you are a woman you are not mechanically inclined and try to take advantage of that.

Hello all. I am by no way an HVAC technician, however I have been a machinist, welder, and mechanic most of my life, so I have a little bit of all experience.

Our furnace stopped producing heat, and I decided I didn't need to deal with it so my wife gave All Hours a call, and they sent a tech out to give an ""estimate"". My wife was the only one home with our new baby, and I was at work, so I told her to to just get the bid. Our furnace is older anyways so I decided to see what it would cost to replace our new unit.

The technician that came out quoted us $1,200 to replace the draft inducer in the burner, saying that the furnace was 11 years old and it was not recommended anyways to repair it and agreed with me to replace it. He also said it was nearly impossible to find parts for this furnace cause it was an ""off brand"". Caveat; I have never worked on furnaces so I believed him and asked him to quote replacing our furnace for a 96% 60,000 BTU furnace which was the correct calculation for the house. The technician started arguing with me saying that they we needed to get the furnace through them as they had all the parts. OK fair enough, waited to get their estimate.

On the LOW END, they wanted to charge $6,000 to replace our furnace with a new one, and $24,000 to a full furnace swap and install a heat pump.

On further research, a Goodman 96% efficient 60K BTU propane furnace is $1,200 with free shipping to our door. Even when I inquired about paying for the labor I was told it would still be over $6,000 and they kept dodging my questions about how many hours it would take and what their hourly labor rate was. Every contractor I have worked with across multiple industries ALWAYS gives me their labor rate and a job estimate for billable hours. This is when I started to expect they were not being truthful and trying to pad their pockets with extra money.

My dad drove up the same day to help me look at our furnace, and noticed the draft inducer was unplugged when we popped the access panel and plugged it back in, the motor got hot instantly. Four bolts and a screw later we had the draft inducer out and noticed the bearings had failed and seized up.

Ten minutes on Google and $113 with free shipping later, my new draft inducer arrived, I installed it in ten minutes, and the burners kicked on again, and my furnace is working fine. Looking into the average HVAC rate, a contractor should charge between $150-$250 per hour, and replacing an entire furnace with the gas already run is at maximum a 4 hour job with a tech who knows what they are doing.

I can't believe this *company* was trying to charge me $1,200 for ten minutes worth of work to replace a glorified 120 V motor. What happened to honesty in the business?

People, do your own research and do not get ripped off by unscrupulous contractors such as these. They are hoping you are not smart enough to ask the right questions such as (how long the job takes/billable hours/parts). There seems to me a lot of these outfits in Reno so please do your own research to not get ripped off by shoddy companies. Just read the other reviews on here..... the average cost for a brand new hvac with centra install from a reputable contractor is around $3,500-$4,000 including parts.

Edit: see the below response from the owner personally attacking me telling me I ""don't know what it takes to run a business"". Exactly the kind of professionalism you don't want in your life. He didn't address my factual research about what things should cost like I don't understand profit margins etc.

The furnace on my rental property went out during one of our coldest weeks this winter. The tenants have a new born and I needed it fixed as soon as possible. After calling All hours on a Tuedsay around 4:30 pm they were able to get someone out by 10:00am the next day. The property needed a new 75000btu furnace and All hours was able to have it installed and up in running by end of day Wednesday. The front office staff, the installer and the entire All hours team were professional and friendly. Thanks All hours!

Listen folks if you have heating/air conditioning problems don't waste your time. Get all hours air. I called a well know company before All Hours Air and regret it big time all they did was charge me money then say they won't work on it and left.

I had Micheal came to my home on a service call. This guy is 100 spot on. Nice, courteous and professional. He had my furnace running like a champ in no time. I will for the rest of my life use All Hours Air and request Micheal come. I've had such trouble getting my furnace right and Mike addressed all my concerns and made it perfect I can't express enough how happy I am with the whole process from the moment I called this company. And Mike thank you again

I requested a quote and an appointment to have a new kitchen sink put in about a week before it arrived. Nick was so pleasant and understanding and told me what I needed to do before it arrived so that the installation would go smoothly, ie., get sink baskets, supply lines, etc. He was the lowest of all the quotes for the sink installation as he gave me a discount for being a new customer. Both he and Kevin came out and provided excellent service, have me a discount on a face-to-face to go along with the sink and cleaned up ALL the debris and mess from the old stainless steel sink that had been in for 12 years. The whole investment for this kitchen remodel was approx $1300, but was well worth it and would suggest for anyone waiting to update their kitchen to start with a new sink first.....and go from there. And these are the people to help!!

They had our review removed stating it was for the wrong company. I had it on the right one so now so I am putting it back.

We hired all hours air to come fix our oil furnace and unfortunately had to hire someone else to come out because they couldn't seem to get the job done right. We have an oil furnace but system was rebuilt recently and in great condition. When we had them come out they told us we needed a new part and offered to install it 2 days later. Two days later someone shows up and half way installs the part and leaves. We call back telling them the problem wasn't fixed and that the settings were never adjusted back to the normal ones. They send out someone different who does some more work and leaves. That tech couldn't be bothered to put the door back on and left it in the middle of the walk way in the basement. That is incredibly lazy especially after we paid 600+ dollars. Again, the problem continued. So after multiple visits and half of the people we dealt with were unprofessional we decided it was time to call someone else. Also, we had a quote done for a completely new service. They quoted us 25,000$ and the guy was a total jerk. I won't be spending 25,000$ to be treated like crap especially after they couldn't fix my current one for 600$.

Post All Seasons Air Edit, edit:

My wife and I were contacted by this company after leaving this review and point blank asked to take the review down in exchange for a full refund. Being as we hired this company because of their review we had an ethical issue with this, so we chose not to respond despite several attempts to contact both my wife and I regarding a refund for removal.

The estimate was cut short because the salesman was unable to quote me on a heat pump with a backup electric resistance heater and was unable to acknowledge the fact that several of the normally charged items were not applicable to our situation. If not listening to your customer and failing to absorb their input is not rude, I don't know what is.

As far as not being at my appointments, I was not there for one because the tech did not show up until well after they were supposed to. If there is any question of this contact me and I will provide there appointment text messages indicating that I was transferred to three different techs and the time frame was changed.

Also, one of the men who installed a part on my furnace was not a trained HVAC man per the rep who contacted me regarding the pay to delete. He is being trained as an HVAC tech, but is actually currently a plumber. It's great that they allowed him to work on my oil furnace.

Since this review I had another company service my furnace and they solved the problem with a $17 nozzle. Seems to me this company failed miserably and is attempting to cover their mistakes with refunds for review deletion. Terrible.

What thorough service, but the price $$$$ for the fix we needed. everything was explained accordingly and the needed parts had to be purchased at a local hardware store. The specialist picked up the parts needed. we had to dig to the pipe that needed a diagnostic since the specialist had back problems.

The fix only took no more than 5 minutes. We were also given a history lesson, as well as consultation on other options to avoid this issue in the future. The specialist explained the issue and gave us estimates on alternative solutions. There's also a warranted time frame where if any issues occur the specialist will return to fix no charge!

We were just disappointed with the billing as it was thrice the cost of what we had anticipated. It sucks being shy to fix your own pipe, but it was a better solution to call service instead of skating on a bandaid and holding off for help.
