Established in 1980, Alison Service Company began its journey as an electrical contractor specializing in wiring for retail and residential properties. In 1991, a national retail maintenance firm reached out to ASC to offer electrical services to retailers throughout Southern California.

As time went on, we began performing other maintenance and repair services besides electrical contracting. Through experience and understanding our clients, we broadened our range of services. The request to provide more services led us to obtain a general contractor's and plumbing license in addition to our electrical contracting license.

My father established his electrical contracting business in Covina even before I was born. Once we were able to handle a hammer, he took my siblings and me to his job locations. I have fond memories of finding scraps of wiring and conduit and making ""art"" with my siblings to keep busy while our Father worked.

We grew up with him leaving family functions to tend to emergencies, constant phone calls and meetings, and of course late work nights. Even though he was always busy, he was heavily involved in our lives, coaching our sports teams, making every play and being there when we needed him most.

After I finished high school, my father was assisting both residents and commercial clients in the San Diego region. I moved to San Diego and began working for my Father as his assistant. I would assemble ceiling fans, install outlets, wire recessed lighting, do all of his scheduling and invoicing. Today, my siblings and I run the business and are thrilled to do so.
