Alison Service Company was founded in 1980 as an electrical contractor specializing in wiring for retail and residential properties. In 1991, a national retail maintenance firm reached out to ASC to provide electrical services to retailers across Southern California.

As we progressed, we started offering additional maintenance and repair services beyond electrical work. As we gained expertise and got to know our clients, we diversified our trades. The need for more services encouraged us to acquire both a general contractor's and plumbing license in addition to our electrical contracting license.

Long before I arrived, my father started his own electrical contracting business in Covina. As soon as we could wield a hammer, he brought me, my older sister, and younger brother to his work sites. I cherish memories of discovering bits of wiring and conduit, creating ""art"" with my siblings to stay occupied while our father worked.

We watched him leave family events for emergencies, handle constant phone calls, attend meetings, and work late into the night. Though he was often busy, he actively participated in our lives, coaching our sports teams, attending every event, and being there when we needed him most.

When I graduated high school, my Father was serving residents and commercial locations in the San Diego area. I made the move to San Diego and began my journey as my father's assistant. I handled tasks like assembling ceiling fans, installing outlets, wiring recessed lighting, and managing his scheduling and invoicing. Now, my siblings and I lead the company and couldn't be more content.
