Alison Service Company was founded in 1980 as an electrical contractor specializing in wiring for retail and residential properties. In 1991, ASC was approached by a national retail maintenance company to provide electrical services to retailers across Southern California.

Over the years, we expanded our services beyond electrical contracting. While gaining experience and familiarizing ourselves with our clients, our list of trades expanded. The need for more services encouraged us to acquire both a general contractor's and plumbing license in addition to our electrical contracting license.

Long before I arrived, my father started his own electrical contracting business in Covina. When we were old enough to hold a hammer, he took me, my older sister, and younger brother to his job sites. I have fond memories of finding scraps of wiring and conduit and making ""art"" with my siblings to keep busy while our Father worked.

We watched him leave family events for emergencies, handle constant phone calls, attend meetings, and work late into the night. Despite his busy schedule, he remained deeply involved in our lives, coaching our sports teams, attending every game, and being present when we needed him.

When I graduated high school, my Father was serving residents and commercial locations in the San Diego area. I moved to San Diego and began working for my Father as his assistant. I handled tasks like assembling ceiling fans, installing outlets, wiring recessed lighting, and managing his scheduling and invoicing. Now, my siblings and I lead the company and couldn't be more content.
