Great Service! Sam responded to my last minute request on a Friday that my heat was out and I was worried about the cold temperatures on the way over the weekend. He gave me his word he would stop by before the day was over. Sam kept his word and quickly diagnosed my problem as a thermostat and replaced it. He was in and out in 30 minutes and was very reasonable with his pricing. I would highly recommend Sam and will be using him again,

Here is the full story: I had a problem with forced air gas heater not working. Turned out to be a motor. Called Sam and left a voicemail. He call me back within 2-3 hours. For reference, none of the other two shops I left messages with returned my calls.
Sam was able to swing by the house that afternoon, it was after 5pm and he just made it clear that this is considered overtime but I was OK since I needed the heat back on asap.
Sam ordered the part and was supposed to have and fix the problem the next day. Called me the next day that the part will take one more day. I insistent that we really need to fix the issue since we were headed towards a couple of 30'F night. He called me back in a couple of hours to tell me he had found the part and can fix that day. Job done!

My AC was dripping BUCKETS of water and was basically unuseable during the hot holiday weekend. I gave Alborz a frantic call this morning and he arrived just within a few hours - my AC was fixed on the spot with explanation of the root issue + tips on prevention. I had another problem with my A/C. The cold air just stopped blowing at midnight on Sunday. Later in the morning I texted the owner if he would be able to stop by and he texted back a short time later. We setup an appointment for Monday morning. He determined that the control-board had developed some kind of problem where the AC would no longer turn on even if he connected the wires together right on the unit (he suspected the prior faulty thermostat may have caused it). He got it replaced under warranty and by Wednesday morning had it up and running again. Total cost this time was $300 for two hours of time at my place and the time to get the replacement part from Malden.
I feel he is fair on the price, is very timely, and doesn't scam you. He made sure to point out that other technicians will get a part replaced for free and then charge you for the part as part of a markup. The part that was replaced cost $600, so that would have been a big difference.

I called the company that installed my heat pump to fix my AC , it's been over a week and no response. I went on Yelp and found Sadegh from Alborz and the person responded right away. He kept me informed what time he's coming, so I did not have to stuck at the house all day. He told me it was a leak and helped with adding Freon to my situation. Finally I got my AC back thanks to Alborz.

WOW what great service! Friendly Sam came by to fix our broken AC unit and managed to find and resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. Working from home in 95degree weather is not fun, I'm so glad he was able to come out within 24hrs. Highly recommended Alborz for all your HVAC needs!!

Sam at Alborz was very prompt, friendly and professional. After having a few companies not follow through or get back to me regarding an AC tune up for the summer, they replied the same day and he came by the next for a quote.
He came when he said he would and was very efficient. He spent 2 hours cleaning and doing maintenance on our two unit condo. He also went above and beyond by washing one of my vents by hand as well as unblocked a vent for the dryer.
I would recommend Alborz on their fair pricing, efficiency and friendliness!

I wanted to switch to an independent/small business for my condo heating and air conditioning needs, since I had grown frustrated with the increasingly poor service at a bigger Boston-area company I had long used.

I called the number listed on Yelp and Sam responded about an hour after leaving him a voicemail. We discussed the work over the phone (basic annual service of air conditioner unit). I texted him a photo of the equipment and he quoted me a fixed price. We scheduled service for 2 days later for an 8-9am arrival window. At 7:30am he texted with a more specific update of when he would arrive, which I appreciated.

He was friendly and professional and seemed fully competent for the work. Everything wrapped up on time and without any problem. I look forward to using them again for future needs.
