A little intimidating at first because we had a back-up and spill-over from our clean-out. Of course this happened on Thanksgiving, when you least expect it or when it is the least convenient. We called Nahman and someone responded, on Thanksgiving no less... It wasn't quite an emergency so we decided to let it go until the next day. Black Friday no one was available but Nahman was in touch with us letting us know what the issues were.

On Saturday Stanley showed up and had the situation well in hand. Roots had grown into our clay pipes causing the back-up. This is something we were aware of but after fixing the immediate problem Stanley offered a more permanent solution to the ongoing problem. We expect to see Stanley or a representative of the company return with an estimate for a permanent fix. We have an older home, built right after the '06 Quake, and it needs maintenance at every level. For this particular issue we feel that Albert Nahman can be trusted to do the job.

I was told I'd be charged $50 for a house call but when the plumber came, and found I didn't have a plumbing issue (it was a foundation leak) he decided not to charge me, called in to dispatch to find some recommendations and just looked around for another 20 minutes trying to coach me on what I could do from here. Contracted Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating to give me a quote on a leak we had in our commercial warehouse. They came out the next day when they said they would and gave me a written quote that I could submit to our landlord. I got approval and scheduled for the following week. Tony C. was my technician both times. He explained things very well and did a great job repairing the leak, being very professional and unobtrusive while working around our employees and totally cleaned up afterwards. I've also used them once before for some gas piping for our furnace and they also did a great job. Very dependable and good work.

Will from Albert Nahman recently installed a furnace in my home. He was terrific at explaining the option of repairing the old furnace versus the option of buying a new furnace. I was able to hand over the keys to the house, he came and did a great job. The basement was left neat and clean, the house was toasty again, we are happy. As a first time home owner (of an older home) there are many times that you need to call someone for this or that. Every time we have needed a plumber, we call Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating. Every technician that they have sent out has been very knowledgeable, skilled and friendly.

Today, our toilet would not flush even after plunging. William C ( who was actually the first tech that came out when we bought the house) came out right on time and spoke with me about the issue and showed me a different way to apply the plunger and some possible causes. As he was getting ready to leave, I remembered that our bathroom sink was having issues draining. He was willing to take a look and offered suggestions on how to fix it. Not only did William offer a couple of options and prices, he also disclosed all of the appropriate information that could happen. We agreed on a procedure and TA-DA the sink drained again. I also really like that William takes the time to explain what he is doing to educate me on how plumbing works.

I am so glad that I have discovered Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating and I will continue to call on them and William C for service in the future. I will also recommend them to whoever needs the services that they offer.

Fernando and Enrique installed a new high-efficiency water heater for us. They were personable as well as efficient and were able to answer any questions I had. This was the last step in our efforts to replace our old defunct water heater. Nathan, a different technician, initially installed a new water heater for us, but it turned out that there was a venting problem and we had to decide on an alternative. Nathan made sure we were provided with a temporary fix so we had hot water while we decided what to do next. Albert Nahman walked us through the pros/cons of various options and we decided on a high-efficiency hot water tank which was expensive, but solved the venting issue. I felt secure in making my choice after discussing all of the options with these very knowledgeable professionals. I have used this company for plumbing fixes in the past, and have always been highly satisfied with their service.

Though the plumber arrived later than I would have wished (on the far end of what they promised) he did such a good job when he was here that I don't want to complain. He solved my problem, and though it was expensive, it was worth it.

Excellent services. I've tried two other local plumbing/heating businesses over the years but I recently decided to use Albert Nahman Plumbing for some major work -- replacing two furnaces, a hot water heater, and changing out some piping to create decent water pressure to a shower.

They were conscientious in discussing with me the pros and cons of my furnace choices before the installation.

Their rates were quite reasonable and they promptly did the work they promised. They showed up on time, took care of everything, cleaned up after themselves.

I'll definitely be using them for my future plumbing/heating needs.

Their sr. plumber, william, was very knowledgable and he explain exactly what was going on and he fixed the problem. I am very happy with their work and customer service.
