My hot water stopped working, so I called this company.
They sent a man out who said my boiler needed a new thermal fuse, but he couldn't do it.
I waited for them to schedule another guy.
He showed up late, but then refused to do the job because he couldn't park DIRECTLY outside our house. He just drove away.

When he returned many hours later, they sent his supervisor along to apologize for his behavior. The technician then spent hours fitting the fuse, but when he was done the system still did not work. He seemed to have no clue why, and just shrugged when I asked what he thought it could be....

They then sent another guy round a few days later, he said he didn't think that it was the thermal fuse, and took the old one away. He said he would test it and let me know if it was blown or not (he didn't, and never has). He returned later to fix the system according to his diagnosis. He was supposed to arrive at 9am, but he eventually turned up at 5.30pm (not acceptable). He worked late, but then needed to return the following day, and we still had no hot water overnight. He completed his work by 3pm the next day and left.

I tried the shower last night, it ran hot for 5 minutes or so, then went cold. The water pressure is also significantly worse than before. Other showers in the house performed similarly. I rang to complain yesterday and contacted the technician directly, but no-one has got in touch at all... The showers still do not work this morning.

I have now spent over $5000 with this company, waited for days on end for appointments, waited for hours for technicians who have shown up sometimes six hours late, occasionally behaved incredibly rudely and unprofessionally.... and the system is still not fixed, over two weeks later.

They charge the earth and deliver nothing.

although the plumber himself who came out was very helpful, the company had quoted me $79 but it turned out to cost $790 to find the leak. It was a leaking hose bib......hundreds of dollars to 'detect' that. I do NOT recommend .

I contracted this company to install a new HVAC system at my property in Newark, CA, back in June 2024. This is my first such project and I needed a licensed company to help manage the entire installation, including getting all the relevant permits from Newark city's building inspection department.

I have since been frustrated dealing with this company and my project has been stalled for over 2 months now. First, the company went ahead and started the installation process WITHOUT securing the right permits from the city. When we received a STOP WORK notice due to this, the project manager has been only giving me excuses on why there's been delays. When I enquired myself calling up the city, I found out that they have not received the necessary documentation from the HVAC company for over 4 weeks!

My repeated follow ups with my direct project manager have not made any impact. Trying to find senior management of this firm to escalate is also nearly impossible!

I will advise against working with this fraud company.

We needed some plumbing done for our water heater. Rafael came and did a fantastic job. He explained the procedures, did just what I wanted and I even learned about the latest plumbing techniques. Everything was cleaned up after the job and I am happy with the results.

So the plus of this company is that they are available and come promptly. That's great. And their price to inspect is ok also ($79).

The minus is that they quote prices that are at least 2x and maybe 3x the price of other plumbers. Like 2 hours for a kitchen faucet installation and a charge of $400!! per hour. $400 per hour for a plumber is ridiculous.

Technician was competent, courteous and thoughtful. Thorough work. Pricing negotiable.

How quickly this company, which I rated as a 5 not so long ago, has deteriorated in quality of service and cost of service. I had been using the company for over twenty-five years.

I will say that the technician, to his credit did show up on time, which was a definite plus.

My issue was a leak in my bedroom ceiling which I attributed to a leaky pipe in a non-existent crawl space. The house is quite large and the crawl spaces'
accesss is on the side of the house which is a fair climb. Moreover, the lock key that I gave him was the wrong one. Error corrected.

The technician rightly informed there was no access to a crawl space over the bedroom. decided to open up part of the ceiling drywall and found the pipes to be intact. Another part of the drywall was opened up and this was directly under my kitchen sink. An uncoupling of the pipes under the sink due to a faulty gasket was the origin of the intermittent leak.

The technician told me about the risk of ""mold"" and suggested that a good part of the ceiling needed to be replaced.

Cost of the encounter: $1,100
Time: approxiately one hour and twenty minutes (plus travel time)
parts: gasket: one dollar
labor: $1,099 plus tip (I always tip)

Bottom line: I think the cost was exorbitant for the amount of labor
expended.

Sad. This family-owned company did excellent work at a reasonable cost before being taken over by venture capitalists. I will no longer be using
Albert Nahman.

I just want to warn everyone to not ignore the 1-star reviews for this company. They're horrible to work with. Their work is low quality. I truly regret letting them work on my house.

Rip off.
We had a drainage problem, the service person lied to as that this is a responsibility of us and not the city, and then charged us A LOT for what turned out to be 10 minutes work.
