My water heater went bad. Leaked causing subsequent water damage in my home.
Called homeowners insurance they sent water remediation service that arrived first.
Called home warranty, they sent out Alans Plumbing. Their tech Jeff said that if I used his water remediation service that he would get me a new water heater tonight. ""Doesn't matter that you just signed the papers with those guys, my guys will come in and take care of your issues and I will bring you a new heater tonight.""
I explained that my homeowners insurance sent out a group and that I was going to use them. I further explained that they would do whatever necessary to make it possible to install the new water heater tonight.
He said, ""I was going to do it as a favor if you used my guys"" again pulling their card from his pocket. I won't be able to help you if you don't use them.
I called the desk at Alan's plumbing. The scheduler said, ""we don't make two calls in one day"". If he doesn't have a tank on his truck, then we will have to schedule another time. ""I just spoke with him, he did not tell you he would bring you a water heater tonight.""
Being extorted by a tech is not an ethical way of doing business......
I hope Jeff's kick back is worth this review and the reviews I will write to Google, Angie's list, the BBB and Fidelity my warranty company.

I had a leak on a Sunday and Alan the owner came out himself to get it stopped until the other men could arrive with my new water heater. AMAZING job, great service, they cleaned up after themselves and did it FAST......

I have used Alan's Plumbing through my Fidelity Home policy several time and THOUGHT I had first quality treatment. I am still waiting for Alan to return my call. It's Tuesday and I called on Friday because THEY LEFT ME WITH A GAS LEAK!!! I needed a new temperature sensor in my hot water heater located in the garage. When the part came in, JOE came by to install it. No problem. The next day there was a faint odor of natural gas when I opened the garage door. I sniffed all around the heater and I didn't smell anything. Two weeks later, my son went in the garage early in the morning - and he smelled it immediately. Southwest Gas arrived within 20 minutes and found 2 gas leaks where the fittings had not been tightened!! My garage is vented properly, thank GOD, but this could have ended with an explosion. Customer Service protocols would seem to require a return phone call from Alan - as promised on Friday by the receptionist - and perhaps an apology.
So, Alan, if you read this, know that you have lost my business - and possibly the business of those who read this.... especially those who do not want their houses to explode!

I just wanted to give Pete from Alan's plumbing a great review! He has been to our house through our AHS home warranty as well as on a non covered warranty issue. And, each time, he was professional, friendly, and very efficient. Also, the receptionist has always been nice, and when I spoke to Ryan from the company, he was also very helpful. Thanks for helping us out!!

After four HORRIBLE and unique service requests from Grace Plumbing (through AHS Warranty), we finally found a winner! When the pipe under our kitchen sink busted, I insisted AHS send out a different company this time. Alan's Plumbing answered the phone on the first call (no 20 minute hold time), their scheduling coordinator was very helpful in getting a tech scheduled the same day. I was notified 30 minutes before the tech arrived. He was punctual, professional and very efficient. After 20 minutes my sink was good as new. Very pleased with this plumbing company.

I had a problem with my bath tub and there was water running down my dinning room ceiling.
The plumber who came to check it was professional, friendly and efficient.
He fixed the problem in minutes and did not even leave a mess behind.
I was very impressed!

I had a bad experience with another plumbing company that my warranty company scheduled to come out. Late in the afternoon when I was told the other company wasn't going to make it, I called the warranty company, and they were able to get Alan's Plumbing out within 2 hours. The techs were great, very knowledgeable, and they repaired my kitchen sink. I will use them for non-warranty plumbing issues too. Thanks Alan's Plumbing!

An AHS service company, we had to wait 3 days for someone to show up. ""Joe"" with a Dallas Cowboys hat came in, checked it out and said it was not covered by AHS. The kitchen sink had a leak and the hose up through the faucet was broken, causing a leak in the the kitchen and therefore damaging. He did not fix it, took my $75 copay and said do it yourself. I am left with a damaging situation in my kitchen and I thought these companies were out to help and take care of their customers but this was pure highway robbery of $75. THIS COMPANY IS OUT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, they are crooks DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER.

I didn't use their plumbing service, I only purchased a water heater.
Big props to PJ for meeting me at the shop on Saturday when they are normally closed so I could pick up the water heater!
He was very friendly, easy going and gave me a good price! He also helped me load it in to my truck too!
