We had a leak in our waterline from the city to the house. I called Akers, the same day I had someone here and a quote that night. The next day I had water back to the house. On the 3rd day SPU inspection passed and they put the yard back to where you wouldn't have even known they were here (2 holes, no trench). I would recommend them to anyone. They do one thing and they do it well.

I highly recommend Akers Outdoor Plumbing. They are a very professional team and every person I worked with - from Traci, who handled communications and logistics; Andy who diagnosed, located and proposed a solution; and Ryan and team who did the repair work - was fantastic.
I first became aware of a leak in our waterline earlier this week and contacted several companies about getting it diagnosed, located and fixed. Out of the four companies that contacted me, Akers was the only one that offered both outdoor leak detection and remediation. Two of the companies outsourced detection to a vendor (which would have meant working with a second company) and only did repair and construction work, and the third company, which did a site visit about an hour before Andy arrived, didn't even mention the need to locate the leak and suggested that I should replace the entire waterline between the meter and my house, ""because you will probably get another leak anyway"".
Thankfully, I got a call from Traci too and Andy was able to do a same-day visit. He located the source of the leak within a few minutes and very quickly diagnosed a solution, which surprise, surprise didn't require replacing the whole waterline, only a section that contained a faulty and leaking regulator. From there, we were able to quickly schedule the repair. The price was very fair, and they even gave me a discount due to an unforeseen delay of a few hours on the date of repair.
I have an affinity for well-run and high integrity family-owned businesses, which Akers Outdoor Plumbing clearly is. Thanks again!

Akers Outdoor Plumbing really saved the day for me. I was not in town and got a call that my water line broke. They were able to come out the next day and figure out what happened and make a substantial improvement to the water line so it won't happen again. They made it better than new and their service was top notch. I really appreciate that!

Great service promptly coming out to assess potential water leak issue and resolving concern. If you have an outdoor water issue, please consult with them.

Can't say enough about the outstanding job that Ryan did on our water supply line replacement. Incredible design by Andy to completely avoid landscaping snd irrigation valves. Did not cut any corners. Installed copper line as requested. Very reasonable price. Traci did a great jjob getting everything scheduled including tracking down city inspector. High quality work, valves, friendly people, and reliable. Just too bad i will never need them again!!

Working with Akers was fantastic from start to finish. I needed a new PEX/Copper line ran to my house to replace an old galvanized line that was not providing enough volume to my older craftsman home. I had Andy out for the initial walk through, he took his time to look at each component of the job and was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with and laid out a very straightforward and detailed plan. Although their bid was the higher of a few I had received, after meeting with Andy and communicating with Traci their office manager I felt like they would do the best job.
And I am happy to say they were amazing to work with and worth the extra cost, upon arrival Ryan, their foreman was personable, informative and very clear on the process and plan for the installation. And after looking at the house and line actually recommended a cheaper materials option than the one originally planned and assured me I would be happy with the end product. The fact that he took the time to truly assess the situation and provide his honest opinion goes a long way with me and shows that these guys care about doing the right thing and not trying to just maximize profits. Ryan also took the time to add on an updated shutoff at the meter which he did not have to do and went above and beyond my expectation and now allows us to shutoff our water at the meter with out a special tool for our old spike setup from the city.
Ryan also took the time to let me take pictures and videos of the trenchless tools as well as explain each facet of the operation and exactly why and what they were doing at each stage of the process.
The majority of the work was done in a day and when completed I couldn't be happier with the final product and what a big difference it has made for our water volume needs. Traci, their office manager was great to work with and handles all billing and scheduling as well. Like all these other amazing reviews I could not recommend Akers more for any outdoor water line needs you may have for your home. A truly impressive operation.

These people are the best in the business. After getting jacked around by a company that couldn't spell ""plumber' I found Ackers. The idiotic proposal that the first company submitted included major changes in the present site that would have taken days to do. Ackers arrived on time and left at the end of the day after installing a new water line for the house for a reasonable price and great service.

200+ feet water meter to house! very clear, detailed bid (most reasonable by comparison); job lead to challenges! each was met with so we'll . . . The whole team positive, friendly & responsive. Circumstances prevented trenchless first 100' - very narrow trench dug to depth when done and grass flipped back invasion was invisible! Absolutely no hesitation pushing the Akers team name forward!

We are very happy with our new waterline! Andy came out to provide us with an estimate and the crew installed our new waterline the next day. They were fast, knowledgable, and professional. We highly recommend them!

Great and fast service all in one day. Outdoor leak & high water bill. 1st visit, based on where could see water, advised me to contact city (even gave me the phone # to call), as might leak on their side and no cost to me. After city confirmed on my property, the team came back. Dug up and fixed the leak, cleaned up everything and called city for me to get inspection. They worked fast, less than 45 minutes total, all done in one day. Thanks!
