FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER! I highly suggest NOT using this company. I was contacted by phone/voicemail over one year after selling my home and was told that I had an outstanding bill. I sent receipts for every bill I had incurred with the company and had paid. 20 months after the date of the 'bill' in question I requested a copy of said bill. I was sent a copy of a bill that had been sent in an email in 2020. It was not an """"on site"""" bill with my signature as other bills were, it was a computer-generated invoice. When talking to their agent on the phone I complained of harassment, and she told me it was not 'harassment' until I was contacted 3 times a day. Wonder how she knew that??? Ummm, not her first go round evidently! Now I have to spend hours again going through 2 year-old year old records to verify that this bill was paid/not paid. AND receive voicemails from them daily! A.J.'s Plumbing is definitely not worth the lousy bookkeeping, customer service and headache!

BUYER BEWARE!!! We called for an estimate to run water out to our dock and the representative was not happy he had to dig in a few areas to see what he was dealing with. Conduit was already out to the dock and we needed water hook up from there. Here's where they get you. They DID NOT inform us there was a $85 fee for coming out to do our estimate. We only found that out AFTER they did the estimate and said we owed them $85 if we did not use their services. Well..... according to our building contractor, they were more than twice what it should have cost. So, they must be so busy they are jacking up their prices if they don't want to perform the work but covering their cost for making a house call. That's the definition of a """"got cha"""". Good luck trying to collect my $85. It ain't happening.

Called AJ's 3 times this past Monday to help us with a major plumbing issue. Today is Friday, still have not heard back from them. Terrible customer service!!! Called Elevated Plumbing, left a message, received a call back within 30 minutes, the plumbing problem was resolved by Monday night. A+ customer service! Left one star, just because I had to!

Great work and really know what they are doing. I had a problem with a water filtration system and Mike came over and even gave me names of other good professionals to help with electrical too.

The only place one the beach that called me back within 20 minutes on a Saturday night. Super nice guy - replaced my hot water tank that night!! Saved the day and my weekend! Thank you AJ's and Mike!! I owe you!

I've used AJ's for every single plumbing issue that I've had for nearly 20 years. They always come right out and fix issues whether big or small. They have sealed toilets, installed utility sinks fixed leaky showers and installed all plumbing in our new houses. They are always professional and get the job done efficiently. We have bought and sold houses for a living for 20 years and AJs is always who we turn to for our plumbing needs.

Do not use this company! We called and asked for a quote to get some plumbing work done in Santa Rosa Beach. The technician arrived 30 minutes early and our tenant let him in to start his bid while my wife was driving to meet with him and make sure we summarized exactly what we needed done. My wife was running late and said that she would be 5 minutes late, but instead of staying behind and waiting 5 minutes past OUR appointment time, he left right at our appointment time saying that he had another appointment to get to. We didn't even get to meet the technician. The worst part was that my wife passed the guy as he was leaving the complex and she was entering it. Then, to make matters worse, we chose not to use them because of their poor customer service. Unbeknownst to us (they didn't bother to ever tell us this either), they charged us a bogus fee for the quote because we didn't have them do the work. Apparently their policy is to not tell you that you will be charged a quote fee if you don't agree to do the work they quoted. So we had a bill mailed to us for $165 with absolutely no work having been done. I talked to the receptionist and she said that the technician was there for 1.5 hours when he was only there for 30 minutes and left at our appointment time. I asked what exactly we were being billed for (seems like they charged us the hourly rate), but when I asked, the lady said she would call me back. 6 hours later, instead of a phone call, we get another bill, this time for $75. Again, no work was ever done and now they expect us to pay for a service we never agreed to. I wish I could run a company where I charge people bogus charges and expect them to pay it like AJ's Plumbing. Do not use this company! If you do, expect to be charged for fraudulent fees and services!

What a joke! Called cause I had a leak From where my handyman tried to remove a valve in my shower, so we turned off the water! Call AJ's I should've known by that phone call and how unprofessional he was that I shouldn't have him come out! Well he says it'll be $165 an hour, freaked out, I said please come! He comes and goes in for 10 minutes if that and tells me there needs to be a new valve cause it's """"old school"""" but he needs to cut into my wall and that'll be like two hours and he's already at 45 minutes because he charges for when he gets in his truck and starts driving (and he said he had to come all the way from Freeport) yet the business says SRB(that's why I called locally) Are you kidding me!??? I've never heard of anything like that! So I chose not to continue because it was already an hour basically and he didn't look to enthused anyways to help! Absolutely ridiculous!needless to say I'm getting another plumber and wished I would've read these reviews before calling

I called to get an estimate on a job to relocate a washer hookup back in mid June. They came out to my house and provided a ballpark, verbal estimate, with no mention that they would charge me for the estimate if I didn't go with their quote or having me agree to anything like that in writing. Well guess what? I didn't go with their quote, and now it is late September, more than 3 months later, and they emailed me out of the blue this morning with an invoice for $110.00 for their """"service call"""" back in June. I promptly gave them a call this afternoon to let them know they never informed me of this charge at the time the estimate was provided. They of course claimed that they had. I looked at their Better Business Bureau profile and it looks like they had a similar complaint filed against them last year where they provided a quote to a prospective homeowner who had a home under contract without informing them that they would incur a charge if the quote wasn't accepted. The would-be homeowner received a similar invoice even though they were not informed upfront. What this company doesn't realize is that since we have no written contract, this would not stand up to scrutiny in a court of law. The burden of proof is on them to demonstrate that I agreed to this charge and they didn't even provide a written estimate, let alone enter into a legally binding contract with me stating what I would be charged. Needless to say, I informed them that I will not be paying the invoice and will post updates here on what comes next. For now, buyer beware.

I shouldn't have used this guy. First, a 150 dollar """"emergency call"""" for tenants bath tub not draining turned into cutting holes in my own bathroom ceiling to expose barely leaking pipes which I would have wanted to be addressed after the tub drain issue was finished, but no plumbing work was ever completed. Was charged 3 hours of labor but wasn't there for more than 2.5 hours. Had another plumbing company come in and worked less than 1 hour to solve both issues. Will never be doing business with this plumber again.
