My kid is having a 2nd baby next month. Since the house only has 3 bedrooms and he already has one child, Granny and Gramps are evicted. So in order to plug in our 5th wheel trailer so we have our own bedroom, we need a receptacle on the outside of the home.

So when I called AJdanboise and explained the situation I got what can only be described as a ""hustle."" The lady who answered refused to give any sort of price quote and only wanted me to commit to an appointment to have the work done with no up front idea of what I would be spending.

I don't work that way. I would like a rough idea of what I am getting into before I get some whopping big bill....I bet you feel the same way.

So I hung up the phone and kept looking. I'm dumb, but I'm not stupid.

After posting the above review I was contacted by the AJ Danboise company. They gave a good explanation of their policies. My advice to them is to work with the person I spoke with on the phone when I first called in....had she explained what they did in their reply to my Yelp review, this would have gone a different way possibly. As it is, I called another company and they are going to the home and giving me a quote today.

Everyone was very friendly that I dealt with at AJ Danboise. They were able to come out to my house and diagnose my AC issue the same day, which was after a holiday weekend. If I had been in more of an emergency situation, I would have hired this company, but I was able to get another quote. Full disclosure, AJ Danboise quoted me $1,200-$1,500 to fix my issue. I had the same work completed in under one hour by another contractor for $175. They correctly identified the problem, but their price was obviously extremely high.

I was having a sump pump drain issue at outside my house (water shooting up in the air... was crazy...). As I needed immediate help and my regular plumber was not available, I've decided to give AJ Danboise a call based on great reviews on Google.

In short, the high reviews at Google didn't lie! AJ D.'s business philosophy is truly exceptional, and I will definitely call them in an event I need plumbing help!

The water drain issue ended up being too big for AJ D. to correct, and I had to go with another contractor referred by them m. However, the way they faced and solved difficult situation was something other companies should learn from.

(1) the way customer service answered and arranged my call to set appt.
(2) the way service person represented himself and explained the issues I was seeing,
(3) resolving money issue resulting from incorrect trouble shooting (some work was done but the issue turned out to be different)

With so many companies looking for a short term profit and putting less emphasis on customers, not doing a right thing, the interaction with AJ D.'s lead tech (Jeremy) was refreshing!

These guys are the best. We have relied on them for years as we have old plumbing in the house and have experienced numerous issues. Today, Jacob (really nice guy... very professional) came to help with a clog in the tub. He resolved the issue immediately (the handle for the drain stopper was jiggly and the stopper wasn't fully open) and he realigned it at no charge and was done in a flash. Would highly recommend these guys.

DO NOT CALL EMERGENCY SERVICES EITHER. YOU""LL BE TREATED LIKE A NUISANCE AND PUT OFF TO ANOTHER TIME.
Like most folks, I call professionals for things that are outside of my skill set. Like most folks, this can be a little intimidating since I really don't know what I'm talking about.
I called on a Saturday to get some things done. The person on the other end of the phone very clearly told me in the initial exchange that they were too busy to speak with me. After describing the issue to the best of my ability, the rep loudly sighed as if dealing with a slow child and told me they couldn't come out for at least 3 days (despite advertising ""on-call"" services).
I'm sure the technicians do a fantastic job but I would advise dealing with this company on non-urgent matters and only if you know the exact lingo to speak in order to describe the job you want done. Or perhaps, just try a different company altogether.

Hard to review a company that didn't show up. I made an appt and received a confirmation email for the time and date. When I called after the 4hr window had passed without a call, no appt was scheduled even though I had a confirmation. Glad there are lots of other options.

These folks are as professional as they come. We just got a quotes for several jobs we need around our 40+ year old home. Tanya was exceptionally personable, and very detail-oriented. Made an appointment for someone to come out for an estimate on electrical work.
I should have gone with my instincts when I was told there was a $95 charge for the estimate, of course that would be deducted from the bill if we accepted that estimate.
When we received our estimate I knew it had definitely been a mistake to have set up the appointment.
The estimate was beyond outrageous! We were quoted $3300 by a well known company and
AJ Danboise quoted close to $9000 for the same work! We're out $95 - lessoned learned. Sorry AJ but I certainly would not ever recommend your company.
