The lady who answered the phone was very cordial and made me feel comfortable and appreciated. The response time was not bad at all... within 2 hours of my call on a Friday afternoon, the service tech was at my home. He did a very good job fixing my problem. However, I cannot figure out why 2 hours of work and minimal parts needed should cost me $1360. That seems a bit ridiculous! Twice I mentioned being surprised about the cost and the tech was not forthcoming at all about why it should cost so much. The price gouging soured an otherwise good experience.

Go with the VIP! Airstream Tech Jose was awesome! Very thorough. Aorstream was able to get someone out the next day and diagnose my a/c unit. Turns out I just needed to change my air filters sooner. It fixed my a/c getting seized up from airflow blockage

The technician claimed that our unit had too much freon and charged us $377 to ""recover"" it. Shortly after, he tried to convince us to replace the unit without providing a valid reason. We didn't agree and called another company. The new company found that the freon was low, cleaned the coil, and the unit is now working fine without needing replacement. It's frustrating that many companies train their technicians to be more like salespeople than actual techs who can diagnose and fix units. Beware of this company.

This company is the best! 3 years ago after a bad experience with another company sent by my home warranty company who charged me a lot of money and did not fix my unit. Airstream was recommended to me, they came out quickly and fixed the problem quickly, and stayed to make sure it was working, and I've used them for the past 3 years and have been SO happy! Affordable, dependable, responsive! So now, my very old unit finally died and they put in a new unit in less than 24 hours. Can't beat them! Helped with financing. Joseph was our installer and he did such a great job explaining everything. Jose was great too, he came out and inspected my unit, gave me all my options and got the ball rolling to get me a new system. SO FAST! I use them for routine maintenance, haven't used any other services but if I needed any of them, they would be the first company I would call!
