Did a good job for us including refunding a charge they made which was unreasonable, they refunded the charge after bringing it to their attention without hassle. They did a nice job installing a new heat pump unit in a condo we own and also quickly cleaned a stain on the carpet caused during the install.

Chuck Jines, Chuck Gayden and Adam, the technician, were top notch! The customer service was fantastic! I called on a Sunday and someone was at my house within an hour. When there were still issues, Adam worked the next day until nearly 7:00 at night to try and resolve the issue. When the solution was determined, Adam was there at 7:00am to complete the work before I left for work to accommodate my schedule. Since when does a business do that? Adam was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Air Temp Specialists made an after-hour exception in the hottest and most humid season San Diego has ever seen, because my fiancé has COPD and the AC air is literally his only relief. Tommy S was here right on time, despite rain and lightning, pinpointed the problem inside of 15 minutes, repaired it for a very fair price inside of another 15 minutes, tested our intake and output air, and was ridiculously friendly!! His dad even works for the same company! I would recommend this company to anyone in need and I have saved their info because they are the only HVAC company I will ever use again.

These guys deserve WAY more than 5 stars! We've been in a hot spell for the past few days (Escondido). At 8:00pm last evening (a Sunday night) we realized that the AC wasn't working and the house was slowly getting warmer. With the next two days predicted to be in the 100's again, we panicked and started calling AC repair companies for 24-hour emergency service. Odd thing though...even though their websites say 24/7 service, they either don't answer their phones, or tell you that their technicians are finished for the day. EXCEPT FOR AIR TEMPERATURE SPECIALISTS.
I called 7 companies (including Bill Howe - and one of their technicians lives on my street, 2 minutes away from me) and Air Temperature Specialists were the only ones to answer and set up an emergency service call.

In about an hour Shawn arrived, checked out our system and was able to determine the problem. He explained to my husband what had malfunctioned, replaced the part (which he had on his well-stocked truck) and the system was up and running again. Even after he had finished the repair he continued to check everything, making sure our filter was clean, checked the temp of the air coming out of the vents, and gave our system the thumbs up.

Our AC/heating system was installed about 8 years ago, and the company we used has since retired from the business and sold their client list to another AC/heating/plumbing company. Although we loved the original company, the ""new"" guys left a lot to be desired - so we were left with no one to rely on in case of repairs. We've been lucky until now, and last night was an eye opener. I'm not sure what these companies think 24/ mean, but I'm pretty sure it should include Sundays at 8:00pm.

In any case, we are thrilled to have discovered Air Temperature Specialists. With our AC/heating system creeping up in age I suppose this won't be the last time we need to repair it, but at least now we know who to call. We were very impressed with Shawn as well as the women we spoke to on the phone - fantastic job everyone, and many, many thanks!

$$$$. They provided reasonably OK service but expensive. I called them, customer service was good. They were able to schedule appointment within three days, but needed $15 travel fee + $65 visit fee to book the appointment. I paid over $270 for two lbs of gas. They did no give me price before the work,

I serve on the Board of Directors for my condo complex. We needed a new commercial hot water heater. We received several bids from plumbers including the company that has serviced our building for many years and received A LOT of business from us over the years. When I called Elias from Air Temperature Specialists, he was professional and prompt- I had a bid from him the SAME DAY!! He quickly arrived at the complex and inspected the hot water heater and within a few hours later, I had the bid in my email. AND- it was several thousand dollars less than our other plumbing company. Elias was AWESOME! He explained everything in layman's terms. We are now using ATS as our main plumbing company for our condo complex. I have also used this company for HVAC work and was equally impressed and satisfied!

5 stars to Outstanding service! our AC was out and Johnny the tech was so professional and knowledgeable. He knew right away what needed to be fixed. He changed one part and cleaned the entire unit and the AC was back online.

Also same day service and they service downtown San diego highrises!

The first place I called was a nightmare. They said my AC was too old to repair. I was starting to lose hope when I saw a google ad for Air Temp. From the first phone call I felt at ease. The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes and was the first to actually offer me a solution that wasn't an arm and a leg. Best service!! I called this company due to an air conditioning problem I was having . A Technician came out same day. He looked at my system and was able to repair it in about 2 hours . I was told by another company I needed to replace the whole unit . Thank you air temperature specialist for being so honest with me. Honest companies are hard to come by these days.
