This company recently purchased Patrillos Plumbing in Delray Beach, a company I used frequently and had great success with. The new owners are Air Around the Clock. Had a very bad experience with them and will never use them again.

We had a technician Devinton who was so knowledgeable, friendly and explained everything thoroughly! I've dealt with a lot of AC folks and he clearly is the best. We're in Delray Beach, Fl so the AC is the lifeline for any home!

I bought a new HVAC unit from them in March 2020 with a 10-year warranty. A week ago (Friday, Feb. 18, 2022), I called them because the A/C was not cooling down my home. They found out the motor on the compressor fan had failed. Two techs told me they do not have a new motor in stock but they could install a temporary one and order a new one, and come back Monday or Tuesday to install the new one. I told them to go for it. The tech then told me it would cost me $695. I argued that we are not even two years into a 10-year warranty, but he said the warranty is for parts only and that I have to pay labor and service. I told him no, that's not right. He refused to install the motor until I paid him half the cost as a deposit. I asked him to get a supervisor on the phone so I can talk to someone in charge. He spent a few minutes texting with someone, then told me he could knock $100 off to $595. So I called the main phone line to try to get someone on the phone. I explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone, she put me on hold for several minutes, then came back on and told me that I had to pay the labor/service fee before the techs can install the temporary motor. I insisted that she put a supervisor on the line. I went back and forth with the woman on the phone, being put on hold several times, but she refused to put a supervisor on the phone, she said everyone had gone home for the weekend and that I would have to wait until Monday for someone to call me. I said get someone on their cell phone, I need someone to tell these techs to put that temporary motor in the unit, and that I need this fixed now, not next Monday. Eventually, after 45 minutes, the woman hung up the phone one me and then the two techs told me they got a text from the office telling them to pack up and go on to their next job. I was stuck. I told the guy he's not leaving until he puts that temporary motor in the unit to get my A/C working. He said he can't do it. I asked him how much the new motor would cost if I was paying for it. He said $1200. I looked it up online, and the cost was around $250 if I were to buy it online. I asked him if the temporary motor is a refurbished one, and old one, what? He told me it is an older model they keep in the truck, and that this particular one was in one unit for about a week. I asked him how long that motor would last normally, he said about 15 years. I was stuck, I had to get that A/C fixed. So I told him I would give him $250 to cover his cost of a new motor if he would put this """"temporary"""" one in, he agreed. It took the two of them all of 10 minutes to do that installation. The tech told me as he was leaving that someone would call me on Monday to work this all out. I never heard from anyone. I called the main number on Tuesday, was told no one was available but that someone would call me on Wednesday. It's now Saturday, I haven't heard a word from anyone. My A/C is currently working fine for the moment, and my check for $250 has been cashed. I've been emailed two invoices, one for a $95 service call, another for $345 for the balance of the installation charge to be paid on completion of the work. These people are running a scam. Stay far away.

Very disappointing. Only 5.5 year old Unit purchased from Air Around the Clock and on their maintenance contract; Broken again; Told that new electrical connections or wiring were needed and verbally quoted over $1,400 for parts/labor (and advised of no warranty coverage). No apparent effort to clean out clogged drain line & re-start float switch. And never received any written estimate

The service was excellent. My sink was leaking and they were able to come quickly. Brandon did the job and he was fast, super nice and courteous. He fixed it quickly and made it better than it was before. Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We needed to have aN evaporator fan motor replaced. The part was under warranty but not the labor. We were charged $695.00 for a job that took 30 minutes. That was an absurd amount for a 30 minute call. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company has excellent form when it comes to selling replacement equipment buy remain disinterested re a failure caused by an inadequate fuse with the original installation. I did call them and was told I'd get a call back....which never came. I then texted them on their own website and was ignored there as well.

They came to change less than 24 inches of copper pipe going from the hot side of the water heater to the house and charged $475.00. Notice, it's all in the open, no having to crawl anywhere or cut drywall. The catch, just to come out it's $95. So your damn if you do and damn if you don't. I give two stars because after I complained about the price and him telling me the reason it's so high is because it is Saturday? What are you serious?? He offered their one year plumbing maintenance agreement. Claims that it is a $200 value with 10% off future work with the $95 visit fee waved. Plus the work was done quickly and seems solid.

I have used air around the clock for over 15 years. They have the best service from the time I call to having someone at my door to fix my AC. Today, I was at my Moms and her hot water heater went. It was old but when I called, they asked me to send a picture of the unit and got all the details so they could be prepared to replace if needed. So professional and installed the same day so my Mom could have hot water. Thank you AATC - service, product, and people, best in class.
