They installed a new system in my home last week. My a/c system was out and they installed a new system next day. I could not be happier with both the install and the operation. While my home has not been more comfortable, the install service and tehnicians were friendly, knowledgable, accomodating, respectful of my home and extremely clean in the entire job. I was in a service business for 40 years and would be proud to have these two people working for me. Air Around the Clock is now my new A/C company!

My neighbor in Deer Creek had this company install a new Rheem unit in her condo less than 2 years ago at nearly double the cost of others in the same complex who used a number of competitors. The exterior install was sloppy and I personally covered the 20' of 3"""" PVC pipe they left exposed in her courtyard. Today the air handler motor failed and has to be replaced which unfortunately happens. The part is under warranty, but Air Around the Clock quoted her nearly $500 in labor to replace a """"free"""" motor. The tech was there 10 minutes to troubleshoot and spent less than an hour replacing it. She got them to reduce the bill slightly, but the manager complained that they were """"losing money"""" at that price! If the part is free, how can an warranty service call that took less than 2 hours cost over $400?? I doubt the tech will get paid more than $25/hr and travel time and distance were minimal. Word to the wise, there are dozens of quality AC companies out there that don't gouge their customers and do better work so do your homework and find one of them.

Technician, Matt, was very pleasant. He found the problem, corrected it and suggested we get a new unit. We agreed, and he set it up for the next day installation. Service was excellent.

It appears I'm having a similar experience as others who have left reviews for Air Around the Clock. I wish I had researched before I used them but they do several units in my condominium building. My air conditioning unit was maybe 13-15 years old. It was leaking and Air Around the Clock came to my apartment several times and diagnosed my unit with a different issue every time. They said there was algae in the pan and they kept cleaning it but it was a temporary solution. Finally after coming 5 or 6 times for the same complaint, they told me that I really needed a new AC unit. I wound up purchasing a brand new unit in December. I had to have them come back right away because the unit was leaking SO much water. Turns out they installed the band new AC unit and the water pipe was completely detached leaking water everywhere. They came back and fixed it. Fast forward to now (7 months later) and my AC is not cooling, my apartment has been at 79 degrees for a week now. I have a 3 year contract with them, I tried to make an appointment for Sunday because I work during the week and they said that it would be considered an emergency and would have to charge me an additional $100+. I left work 2 and a half hours early yesterday to have them come out and fix my unit because they will not give you an appointment time, just a two hour block that they cannot tell you until the morning of the appointment (which was actually a 3 hour block of time). Someone came out and first tried to tell me my AC was on heat and not cool (it definitely was NOT), couldn't tell me what was wrong with it, just that he reset it and it was now working. Well several hours later, it's not working again. Now they have to come back out again, of course at their convenience. When the contract ends, I'll be using another company. How aggravating!!!

I have been a customer of AATC for more than 20 years, and have had a service contract with them for most of that time period. This year, my contract price increased by close to 20%, which I felt was a lot, but, given the current economic conditions, I accepted. Less than two weeks ago, an air conditioning tech was here for my routine maintenance. This past Saturday, I discovered that my AC system was leaking. AATC charged me $180. for a temporary solution, & returned yesterday to replace the tray, which was leaking. The cost of that was $675., but when attempting to pay using my credit card, was told there would be an additional charge of $20. and change!! I refused to pay that additional charge, and have decided that once my current service contract (which I can only read on line because the company is now paperless!) expires, I will no longer be an AATC customer. I question whatever happened to customer respect and being loyal to long time customers! If Mike Lang and his company don't want to take credit cards, customers should be informed prior to any service! If AATC needs $$$ that badly, perhaps he should give up his billboard ads, or his TV ads!!! This is one long term customer who will be using a new AC company!!

Horrible and Dishonest... They installed a new system and then less than 1 year later said the coil was leaking, they charged us to install a new coil. Once that was in the leak started again, they came back out charged us to fill up the Freon and said the leak had to be in the wall and wanted to schedule construction guys to start the demo work that week. We called another AC Company and they found the original leak at the weld, we may never have even needed a new unit or coil to begin with. Not professional and completely dishonest.

Just called ATC to get a quote on a new A/c install. They looked up the 3 years old that had other requested work. I asked for a quote with Air handle and condensor install broken out from a return box rebuild and extra pan with float switches and they said they wouldn't do it. Tried to run over me he whole conversation and didn't want to talk about equipment detail and options. When i said will not do business with out break down on cost he said have a nice day and hung up. If you can't get a reasonable level of service before you by whats the chances after. Suggest stay away.

This company will take your money every way they can. The unit we bought from them has broken down 5 times in 4 years. The installation was sloppy...I think it is probably at the root of the breakdowns. We were loyal repeat customers and they treated us like crap.

I have never written a review before but due to the lack of good faith on the part of Air Around the Clock I feel compelled to write this review. Air Around the Clock installed a new AC unit in my house in 2008. They are the only ones who have ever service my AC unit. They have come out several times over the years to flush out my condensation line but it is only recently that I discovered the real cause of my problems. The pitch from my condensation pan drain hole to PVC drain pipe to outside was never done correctly when the unit was first installed. The bottom of the drain hole is barely a flat finger high above AC platform resulting in very little pitch for PVC pipe across AC platform to condensation PVC pipe to outside resulting to poor water outflow. This problem was compounded by poor connection of PVC pipe to drain pan hole resulting in water continually dripping at connection soaking AC platform plywood. Over the years the plywood has warped and AC unit is no longer level but actually pitched away from drain hole resulting in water constantly being in drain pan. This results in excess pan slim buildup which clogs drain pipe faster. The serviceman tries to tell me the unit is 11 years old but that has nothing to do with the problem. The unit is working fine what the problem was is a water drainage problem from the drain pan because it wasn't done right the first time. The unit should have been placed higher above the AC platform to allow for more pitch from pan drain hole. I have looked at several of my neighbors AC units and the bottom of their pan drain holes are 3/4"""" to 1"""" higher than mine. I would except Air Around the Clock to concede the fact the original installation was done incorrectly and cut me a break on fixing it right since it was there subpar work that led to these problems. Instead I was charged $300 to vacuum drain pan and quoted $1295 to rebuild AC platform right. The serviceman new everything I said was true but just said unit is 11 years old which has nothing to do with problem since unit is working fine and doesn't need to be replaced yet. Obviously the company doesn't stand behind it's work or want to tell the truth about root of problem.

DO NOT use this company! Cannot warm you enough about these crooks or you will be sorry. They lie and up the price on everything. They will find a way not to honor any parts under warranty for work they have done. You have been warned.
