Let me just start off by saying-We are renters. Somehow when any toilet got flushed or even the washer was used, the water would come up out of the shower drain in our downstairs bathroom. You can only imagine the horror. Called our landlord around 9:30 am and he arrived at 4:30 in the evening with a snake to unclog our toilet. I tried to tell him I think the situation is beyond that handy contraption due to the fact that ""all"" the toilets, showers, and washer was draining out of the downstairs bathroom. But he persisted and asked if I have ever used Drain-o... to which I replied, yes... however I think this particular ""situation"" is beyond drain-o. After about 20 minutes and him suggesting I google our current circumstance, I called the plumber.
Miguel and Alex arrived that night, worked in the dark, and fixed our nightmare. They were professional, friendly and the price was extremely reasonable. They turned a nightmare into a happy ending!

Days before Thanksgiving, our kitchen pipes burst. It left us with a flood of water from the kitchen to the bathroom which was directly behind the kitchen. I have dreaded calling the plumber for years because we've gotten taken advantage of many times and we even had a professional plumbing company come to fix our laundry pipes and making the problem far worst than it was before. Miguel is amazing. He was prompt and knowledgeable in assessing the problem and recommending mitigation to come assess the loss of the kitchen as a result of the flood. I am a first time home buyer. In less than 2 months of my new home purchase, the unthinkable happens. I walk in to standing water on the hallway leading into the stairwell.

In a panic, I called AID plumbing. I am soo happy they were my first call. Miguel showed up in 20 min (it was a Saturday night) and walked me through everything step by step. He recommended other people (all of which were amazing!). Making the call to AID plumbing will be my first call every time.

I noticed moisture around the base of my 5 month old toilet which was installed as part of a full bathroom remodel. I contacted the company who performed the remodel and after a few texts and phone calls, the communication dropped off on their end. I decided to move on since it was apparent that they weren't going to help.

I did my best to perform a diagnosis by conducting the normal troubleshooting steps e.g. food coloring in the bowl, wiping the area dry followed by flushes etc. My theory was that the wax ring was not making a good seal with the toilet base but I needed a professional to confirm. I sent several estimate requests through Yelp but I ultimately chose Miguel for a couple reasons:

* communication was quick
* an immediate price estimate was not provided. I appreciated the fact that he wanted to check out the problem first before providing an estimate. This was not the case with most of the other plumbers I contacted.

Miguel arrived on time and was considerate in wearing a mask at all times when we were talking. He was also good with using shoe booties when walking on our carpet. The price he charged to reseat the toilet, put on a new wax ring, level the flange to floor height and install new flange bolts was fair. The quality of the work thus far seems good so far: no more unexpected water at the base after flushing.

I reached out to Miguel during New Year holiday weekend regarding a water leak at a rental property. Miguel responded promptly and provided quote based on the information provided, all via text. Plus Miguel and his team practices all the recommended safety procedure by wearing gloves, shoe covers, masks. At the earliest availability of the tenant, Miguel and his team fixed the leak within half an hour. To top it off, Miguel provided the photos of before and after of the repair. Payment and invoice were provided in an email and linked to Square Space to allow credit card payment. Very professional through and through.
