I wanted to like these guys. We accepted their bid for installing a new evaporative cooler at our Albuquerque rental. They came when they said and they did a good job. But their follow-up? Total failure.

The water pump failed 4-5 months after the installation. Didn't even get through the first season! A tech came out and replaced it--and I got a bill for more than $250. (Strikes me as crazy-high, but not the point of this review.) This ""has"" to be covered by the warrantee, I thought. Nope. My complaint about the bill was passed along to the repair guy as well as the manager. Their answer: You're out of luck.

I'm a New Mexico guy. I know about water pumps and evaporative coolers. Never had one fail this fast. From the company's point of view, I suppose, they already had their money from the install; customer care didn't matter any more.

Conclusion: Beware!!

Was really stuck in a bind with my AC and Meliano from Bosque came through big time. He showed up quick, was very knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Very impressed with the service and will definitely recommend this company.

I called them to get an estimate. I was old someone would get back to me....I never received a call back. That alone tells me everything I need to know about this company.....Unreliable! How about a minus on their rating

Absolutely incredible local business.

We...along with the rest of the state...were in the midst of preparing for a nice cold spell. Firing up all the heating elements one by one.

Lo and behold our radiant heating was not clicking on. We called around to the usual big names and they were all booked out for days or weeks. We remembered we heard a commercial on the radio foe Bosque and gave them a call. We were hesitantly optimistic. Lucky for us they had availability the next day!

We were kind of worried that the quick turnaround would mean astronomical prices. Boy, were we mistaken! The gentleman arrived when he said he would and was communicative on his way here. He identified the problem immediately and told us what it would run us. It was a very very very reasonable price. He got it done and got out of our hair leaving the place cleaner than he found it.

We now have this business saved in our contacts and wouldn't think of using anyone else.

N & J's Plumbing & HVAC LLC what's the most professional business I have come in contact with in a very long time. Appointments were set and they were on time! Anthony arrived at my home to give me an estimate, being very thorough and explaining to me what he would need to do in order to install a new heating and air conditioning unit. Anthony speaks in a way people can understand what he's talking about and why he needs to do what he says. No smoke an mirrors with this company, just honesty, and integrity.
N & J's estimate was very reasonable compared to many others. I spoke to Anthony and let him know we had made the decision to go with his estimate.
We set up a schedule with a date and time for work to begin and work to be completed. Anthony communicated with me all along.The schedule was followed, all work was completed and workers cleaned up the mess nicely.
I will recommend this company to everyone who needs a plumber or a heating and air conditioning system. This is the BEST company in the area!

We contracted with Carroll Plumbing to do major plumbing work for us at a home that we gutted and completely renovated. They did extensive work for us including: moving refrigerator water lines, capping old shower drains and relocating them, adding a pot filler water line, installing all of our plumbing fixtures, removing of old plumbing fixtures, installation of the most massive hood vent system I've ever seen, fixing toilet heights due to changing from thick saltillo tile to ceramic flooring, gosh...what else?!? They were great and often with little to no design plans; which is a long story! Through it all, they were professional and very nice. Out of all of the stuff they did, we had one small fitting that had an issue. I called them around 6-7pm when we discovered the issue and they came out to our home immediately to fix it. We will definitely use them in the future. Thank you!!

Love these guys! We have used Carroll Plumbing twice: the first when our furnace died last fall and this weekend when we discovered a gas leak. When they installed the new furnace - yeah, the old one was completely done, really old and we knew it had to be replaced - there was a problem we found after they were done. The great thing was that they came back right away and fixed the problem and didn't try to charge us - kinda sad that backing up your work is a reason for ecstatic recommendations, but there it is. This weekend with the gas leak (unrelated to the furnace) these guys have been great - they identified the problems, did the work and kept me updated with what they were doing, when the permits were pulled, and how long it would take to get inspected. I hope we don't have anymore problems in the near future, but will definitely keep using these guys.

Came back from a two week vacation to no A/C booked an appointment with Motherroad online. Lucas showed up at the scheduled time. He took the time to thoroughly explain what my unit was doing and offered a couple different options. It was fixed in a matter of minutes. I won't hesitate to use them again. They definitely earned my trust and business.

Received several quotes to run a gas line for an outdoor kitchen, and Alex at Motherroad was by far the most thorough. Took the time to explain way more than I'd ever thought I'd know about gas lines, which really helped me feel like I was making the right decision. The work was top-notch. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does. Glad I went with him over cheaper options that would've left my grill (and house) starved for BTUs (city inspector confirmed).
