I would leave 10 stars for Michael and Affordable Plumbing Services if I could!! Even though we didn't say it was an emergency, Michael responded almost immediately. He was able to fit us in very quickly to check out the issue (lack of water pressure and almost no flow). Michael diagnosed the problem immediately and resolved it for us right on the spot, saving us time, money and stress! Do not hesitate to hire this company for any plumbing issues - you won't find a nicer or more honest, skilled professionals, with great communication to boot.

Michael is just the best person, and I need to acknowledge that. I had no hot water. I contacted him, and he responded right away. We set up a time and he came out to look at my water heater. He made sure to understand what was wrong, and explain the options to me so that I didn't get taken advantage of by another company who sells water heaters. Michael was on-time, helpful, and most importantly honest. I had trouble identifying and removing a shower diverter valve. He was able to promptly identify the brand (American standard) and the necessary tools and resources to remove the valve that I had been wracking my brain over for a week. He also gave me a clear idea of any future work that might be necessary. Strongly recommend this plumber for his professionalism and expertise.

We had Michael out a few months ago when our VERY OLD SHOWER started not draining. He managed the clog, talked me through a replacement drain cover for cheap from Amazon so I could reduce the chance of hair clogs in the future. He asked if there was anything else he could check out and when I mentioned the gues bath shower was slow to have heated water, he checked it out, quoted me a price almost at cost, and then fixed the shower cartridge.

Both have worked amazingly well since. Hence the stars.

However, last night I discovered that our hot water heater was leaking. I called Michael, and he offered to swwing by and give me an opinion. He doesn't even do water heaters. He talked me through what I would need to know to talk to people about replacements, helped me drain the tank and turn off the water supply so that we could stop the leak, and he patiently answered my questions.

He did that all for free, just because he's a man who helps and works with integrity.

I'd recommend him to anyone for repair or installation plumbing. I might be wrong, but I think he's a one man show, so I'm not sure about really big jobs. His prices are reasonable and he's really kind. He also always shows up when he says he will, and he has great communication over text.

Michael was extremely helpful in saving me time and money. I contacted him regarding a toilet issue and he provided some helpful suggestions and to contact him if I was unable to figure it out before he even came out. He is super responsive and is knowledgeable.

Others would insist on coming out and then if they have to order parts, it would be another service fee to come back a second time after diagnosing the issue.

I will definitely reach out to Michael for future plumbing needs.
