The PVC pipe collecting the excess water from my A/C unit broke and as a result, my garage had a huge puddle of water. I left a voicemail for Baldo first thing the next morning and he called me back in less than 30 minutes! Furthermore, he was at my house in another 30 minutes to assess the situation and give me a price estimate. He also fixed my garbage disposal unit in the kitchen sink. You cannot beat the speed and quality with which Baldo works!

My water heater was acting up and after calling around, I called Baldo.. He was so friendly and told me he'd be by to diagnose the problem in 40 minutes... He was super fast, arriving in less than half an hour. After explaining what was going on; Baldo told me he had the part and proceeded to fix the Thermocouple.. He was so much fun to talk with. And assured me the heater will work fine now.. Thank you for an awesome job and response time. Definetly keeping Baldo in my phone for any needs. He does an extraordinary job.

Called this guy on short notice and said he would be able to come in an hour, took a little longer than an hour and I still waited because I appreciated how friendly he originally was, that and the free quote on how much it would cost to unplug the main line. I told him on the phone about the Yelp ad and he said he would honor it and that it would cost less with the Yelp ad. So he gets here and he takes a look at what the problem is and tells me that the Yelp discount isn't applicable unless it's over 400-500 dollars, when on the phone he said it applied to any consultation. It just bothered me that he came up with lame excuses as to why the coupon wouldn't work. Might as well not even use Yelp if people aren't gonna honor their specials.

Always weary about using service providers I find on the Internet as I have had some bad experiences in the past, but that is NOT the case with Baldo. I had called Baldo last week to come and give me an estimate for installing some preassembled kitchen cabinets at one of our rentals. He showed up as promised the next day, on time. Very impressive. He then listened carefully as I explained what work I would need done and what materials I would supply. Baldo then gave me a very fair estimate which resulted in no haggling over a price but quickly moving to the next step of setting the date and time in which he could do the work. Yesterday Baldo arrived about 15 minutes early, again, extremely impressive as I am a firm believer in punctuality. When you tell a person you are going to be there, do not keep them waiting.
Baldo and his partner then jumped right into removing the old cabinets, kept an extremely clean work area and completed the work in record time . Having done this type of work myself over the years, I can say that I am very impressed with his quality and workmanship. His professionalism and fair prices are a huge plus. I can honestly say that going forward, Baldo will be my go to guy on all future rental property maintenance.

It was a typical Cali Saturday summer morning and after a long walk decided to give our dog a bath. Sitting in the tub and no hot water!!. Our 4 year old Water heater was not working - could not get anybody to come to our place on the weekend. Talked to GE tech support - they told about the possible things that could fail - Called other local plumbers and the original installers no appointments till Monday - went down the list in yelp and no body could do it same day - didn't have the part or something. Left a message for Affordable Handy man and got a call back from Baldo promptly - friendly and honest discussion - walked me thru possible things that could be broken - gave me cost breakdown on the phone - he had the part in stock but couldn't come till this eve (as we learned later - he was taking his family to Great America).
I told him that we are in the neighborhood and would like to get this fixed asap. I send him my address and he showed up in 15 min. 40 min later he had changed the faulty part and had us up and running. Also we met his family who waited in the car patiently.
Job well done at a reasonable price and friendly service Offers 90 day warranty on work done.

Baldo does just about everything except landscaping and gardening. We will be calling him back for other projects.

I called in the morning today for a few fixes at home. Baldo offered to come in the afternoon between 1-3pm. I was thrilled for his quick response. I then asked for leave from work and made sure I was home by 1pm. Guess what! I texted and called Baldo numerous times between 1-3pm and got two texts from him: ""Oh K"" and he did NOT show up at all. It's even worse than not picking up the phone in the beginning and not promising to come! Such an irresponsible person! NEVER use him!!!

Baldo is great! Had a water leak coming from two pipes and as a new home owner I was freaking out, naturally. I called Baldo on a Sunday afternoon and he came to my rescue within the hour... and brought his cousin (in law?) with him too! Fixed my water pipes and replaced them with new ones quickly, and then came back the next day to put in a water pressure reducer since my water pressure was at 80psi (my tenant mentioned to me once that her shower pressure is a little too strong). He's good at explaining what is wrong and what he needs to do to fix it before fixing it, and will give you a quote before you agree too. Very professional, dependable and reasonable with pricing. Would recommend to my friends!
