So far Baldo and his guys have handled complete external stucco & internal plaster repair for us and I absolutely recommend them. As a GC Baldo has long and deep experience with jobs of all sizes and he's been working with his subs for a long time. He explained everything every step of the way, offered alternatives, was very reliable on scheduling, and is just a pleasant guy to work with.

Baldo and his assistant Manuel repaired quite a bit of exterior damage to our house - work that was beyond the capability of the painting company who recommended him to us. He came when he said he would. He stuck to the estimate he provided. When extra work was needed, he provided a prompt revision of the estimate and honored that estimate. When a minor follow-up was needed, he and Manuel came out promptly. They cleaned up the area after they finished, leaving no trace they'd been there. I recommend The Affordable Handyman as competent, professional, thorough, and - yes - affordable.

Baldo has done a few jobs for my home. All pristine work. First job was a major backup in my downstairs shower. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. He was able to do a quick fix and later came back to do the repipping. It's been well over a year and I've have no issues. The most recent job he did for my home was my upstairs toilets. Both upstairs toilets were badly leeking from the base/pedestals. I shot Baldo a text and he responded right away. It was late in the evening so we decided for him to come in the morning. I had to work the next day but my fiance was there to work with Baldo. Again, the work was done timely, properly and efficient.

I read some of the comments below and what people fail to realize is that this is not a commercial company. This is a handyman service, not Roter Rooter. He has a small staff yes, but they do great, reliable work. As far as the cost, I believe the prices are fair for the services. Who wouldn't pay for a job well done? Thank you Baldo for your affordable, reliable service. Always my go to guy!

We called on Mother's Day for an over the range microwave installation. Because our delivery and installer from Home Depot was unable to install it upon delivery, we called Affordable Handyman in the hopes he would be able to come install it immediately. I spoke with Baldo the same day and he came out within two hours of us speaking. He gave us an estimate of the work and told us he could come the next day to install. The installation went smoothly and the microwave looks great in the house and works perfectly. We highly recommend Baldo, he has such great response time and was so easy to work with!

Awesome people from a family owned business! Today out of the blue our water heater was leaking water from the bottom and droplets of water cane from the top of the pipes. I called a few places prior to calling here and the other companies actually charge for an estimate whereas affordable handyman does a free estimate and answer all the questions you have along with inspecting the problems. So I called and spoke to baldo and he had Julio and Rafael come by in less then 25 minutes. They dropped their project which they were working on and came over to take a look at the problem. After figuring out what we needed they gave us a very reasonable price and started working on the water heater installation and repair. They left and picked up things at the store which only took them an hour or less to pick it all up and getting started. The process took a long time which we started at around 8ish in the morning and ended around 4ish because they had to fix so many problems we had which weren't really up to code and they were able to bring it to that level. Their fun and amazing people as well as being family oriented and makes you feel comfortable enough to joke around. They didn't mind the many people of whom were coming in and out of the house and we very much appreciated their kindness, discounts, time, care, and efficiency of the newly replaced water heater, and moving hinges for us. Most likely if you were to need help one of the three men will come right away and help you especially if it's an emergency! Just tell them what's going on and they'll get to your right away. After speaking to them for a long time they specialize in many things. So before you call them for an estimate let them know what you need and they'll take good care of you. They also take their time to make sure everything is sealed and cleaned up before leaving. They also take the old water heater for you and the boxes and trash that comes with the new supplies. Our 12-year-old water heater started leaking, and after contacting several plumbers (some who did not show up), we found Affordable Handyman on yelp.

We contacted Baldo and explained the problem. He was currently working on a job, but since we had an emergency, he postponed work at that job and came to our rescue.

Due to the age of the water heater and the work that was needed to bring it up-to-code, we decided to replace our old water heater with a new one.

Baldo did a great job, and we had our new water heater up and running that same day. Baldo is a very nice guy and we are very happy with his work. We highly recommend him, and will not hesitate to use him for future work!
