This abysmal company has blown it with me for the second time. Sears uses them as their ""overflow department"". Big mistake.
A month ago their tech came out to repair my dishwasher. He thought he had the parts but after searching his Scion (no truck) found he had to order the most common of parts,which he said he would do that day. When I called a week later they asked: ""what parts"". Long story short over three weeks to get the job done.
I had an appointment today for a different issue. I received a text and an email confirming the appointment between 8 and 5. Around 11:00 I called to see if they could give me an approximate eta and was told there would be no service call because the tech called in sick.
No notice to me, just a no show.
Sears, and these flunkies they sub contract to deserve to go out of business.

This company is hideous. They canceled on us three times and lied about the reason they did so. This was a GE chosen warrenty provider (scary). After waiting for three+ weeks for resolution a technician came out who did not even know how to remove the cover off the machine. So, The part we have been waiting three weeks for was useless. He left after I asked him to stay for five minutes as I wanted to resolve this problem with their management. The gatekeepers are in the forefront cowering. They will not allow you to talk to management. I don't think I have ever been so disappointed and upset at a service organization as these creeps.

Again because No Star is not an option!
RUDE! Rodger is the person who answers the phone NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! If you want to waste your time use them! Technicians are INEXPERIENCED They need to go to your home more then once to find the problem. The first one came out said I have to order a the part then was called and said they would be there to fix it and it was a NOT True AT ALL!! The person who came to my home was RUDE! and said He has nothing to do with the first Tech that he was just there to see what the problem was and that he needed to order a part!!
RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! WOULD NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IN MY OR YOUR HOME AGAIN!!

Update - I've now used them for a fridge repair. First called a better-reviewed place but they wanted $95 for the service call. I called these guys back and they wanted less than half that (I'm a cash pay, not a home warranty). I figured there was a good chance that I wouldn't need further service and I was right. He arrived within about a half hour of my call (I called around 8:40 and was given a 9am-1pm appointment slot - he came around 9:15). Nice guy. He determined that my ice dispenser was working OK after more cleaning out of frozen ice. Told me what to do if it happened again. I recommend these people again.

If i had a choice I wouldn't give them any Stars. But to be able to write this review its a must. have the worse experience with AF so call Appliance Repair. My washer stop working May 25, 2016 and Sears booked AF to do the repairs. Its June 17, 2016 and I'm still waiting. Do not book or get service done by this company they take too long to get a simple job done in a timely matter. Oh and To top it off they will B/S you , tell you anything that sounds good to them for they can be off the hook. This company sucks. very unreliable in ever way.There should be NEGATIVE STARS in this rating they would get all 5

1 star because zero is not an option. Called my home warranty company because my dryer stopped working and specifically asked for Saturday even though I would have to wait. I was given a work order, and a time slot of 9am - 1pm. At 2:00 I finally called AF Services, only to be told they have no record of it and no technicians available. Yet, they called me and set up the appointment in the 1st place. Their customer service is horrible. I would NEVER recommend a company that can't even keep track of their appointments, admit their mistakes and do their job. I immediately called my home warranty company, who then tried to contact AF Services, yet they'd already turned off their phone system for the day. I made it clear to my home warranty company that I DO NOT want to do business with this company.

Hard to believe a service technician would not even come to the door and knock or ring the bell. Since when is it OK to call when you're not even at the house and leave because no one answered. Come on at least man up and knock on the door. I waited four hours for you today on my day off. And you're getting paid and my fridge is still broken. I will never use you again, and American home Shield is quite aware of your unprofessional service.

I was dog sitting at my aunt's for a few days and the fridge stopped working on the second day. I looked on Yelp and found Appliances Doctor, I called them and a guy named Mike showed up that same day! It took him an hour and the fridge was fixed, he was very professional and excellent at his job. It cost much less then I was expecting with which my aunt was happy. Thanks guys!

I had a problem with my fridge. Called home warranty. The sent out AF Services.Before the guy even looked at the fridge he wanted the deductible. With a little hesitancy i gave him the money. Then he gives me a verbal diagnosis. So he says he will order a part. Never gave me a receipt. So he goes back to the office and puts down a completely different diagnosis. One they know the insurance would turn down. DONT CALL THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS.

So here's what happens...you call your Home Warranty Company and they place an order with an appliance repair company in your area...or at least one that SAYS they are in your area. Then, the repair company will give you a time and a day they will come to your home to fix your appliance. Then they don't show...or they do but can't fix your appliance because they are actually auto mechanics or carpenters but STILL WANT YOUR DEDUCTIBLE!...we've all been through it. Not here, not at Appliance Doctor....one call, one appointment, one visit, one techncian named Jim, one perfect repair and now I have a company I can not only use myself but one that I can refer to others. Great company...polite, punctual, familiar with appliances and what makes them run and more importantly can fix them when they don't run. PLUS...they wipe their feet and don't place their toolboxes on wood floors. can't say enough good things about them.
Fast forward...November 16, 2015. My refrigerator is fixed. I have been calling these people since July to have them complete the repairs. It's finally DONE!!! I did it myself! Besides being told that parts were replaced when they weren't, that parts were on order and would be arriving any day, that the owner would call me back, that anyone would call me back, being given a business card from their technician with the 'suggestion' I call him directly instead of the company and any other excuse, statement, reason, whatever they said that only a three year old would believe...I've changed my review.
