Stay away! Technicians lack basic knowledge and they are ridiculously slow on ordering the parts.

Service was awful especially Elysa was rude and tech Ken did NOT know his job and no respect for timing of schedule or punctuality
Overall Worst Repair on planet

Awful, awful, awful!!! Call someone else immediately! They are rude, disrespectful, dishonest, misdiagnosing problems while attempting to charge for expensive, unnecessary parts then refusing to return numerous phone calls to clarify their misdiagnoses. Use them at your peril.

Sears sent them. To my house and the repair man was so rude and disrespectful.. Had to call Sears and request them to send a different company.. Do not recommend them at all. Even the people on the phone that work there are rude..

This is a terrible service company. It took a month to schedule 2 visits to conclude that AF Services have no communication skills and are not very well equipped to handle simple Dishwasher repairs.

I wish I can put zero star for this bad management company .. the worst customer service , the technician came first to repair my ice maker , he burns a fuse in the back of it and the kitchen smells smoke from it .
After that my water dispenser stops working and the technician was dirty and broke also the Dispenser pedal . They didn't show up again to fix what they damaged . But we are not done yet ... will update it in few months ..
Don't call these people , you ll regret it ...

AF services are the worst company they are contracted through. Sears should be ashamed. AF Services They are Liars and cheets they make appointment and then don't come back and compete the job and lie to sear and say the job was complete dont be fooled they are horrible and only want to collect their money

Part 2. Summary: Incompetent dishonest impossible to reach. Lied about ordering the part. Lied about it when they would come.Tech came smelling of cigarettes sweat and alcohol. Forgot that he had turned off the water so when he finally did the repair the machine still didn't work. When I got them to send him back he couldn't figure out what was wrong. I suggested the water might be off, and then he denied having done it. Incredibly rude.
Friday 8/30 11:18am called AF - immediately placed on hold. After 12 minutes Alyssa came on. I told her about the call ""your tech will be here in the next 35 minutes"" ""Oh, how did it go?!"" I told her not great - no tech, and she put me on hold - went to the manager to ask what happened. 12 minutes later (manager's in a different building,) she came back. The manager said that the parts were ordered through my warranty company ie Sears. (LIE #8) . A tech would come when they had the parts ...in 2-7 days. Alyssa wrote everything down and said she wanted to tell the owner when he came in at 3:30 or 4pm. He would want to know. I said I wanted to tell him too - asked him to call me.
- 8/31-9/2 Labor Day Weekend -
Tuesday 9/3 Called Sears, gave up.
Wednesday 9/4 Called Sears 3:25pm (41 minutes) to say parts were ordered through you. When will they come? Faye sent me to ""Flexibility Department"". 35 minutes later Nelson answered in ""Overflow"" He'd never heard of ""Flexibility Department."" Very nice, good sense of humor. ""How long do you think I've been on hold waiting for you?"" ""40 minutes?"" ""About that."" He asked my name and number, looked up the case and said, ""Oh, I see what's happening!"" And... we were disconnected. I waited for him to call back. No use calling him back because it was too close to 5pm when no one answers.
Thursday 9/5 Called Sears 1:30pm (31 minutes) Asked to be sent straight to overflow. Got Jamal. He said ""the part was ordered today."" ""WHAT? TODAY!?"" ""Yeah, that can't be right. Let me find out what's going on."" On hold for a long time, then he told me AF ordered it TODAY!! TODAY!!!! Part will come in ...2 to 7 business days! Lost it. Hung up.
Called a spiritual healer.

???
Called AF 4:05pm 13 minutes on hold. They picked up and hung up.
Called AF 4:18pm (31 minutes) On hold for 15 minutes, Armando answered. ""May I speak with the owner?"" He put me on hold. He came back and said ""Your part came in today. You're scheduled for service on Tuesday, the 10th."" I asked can he come Monday or tomorrow, Saturday? No. Can he come today? He's already back at the office. He's not working Saturday. (LIE #9) Monday he's in a different neighborhood. I said, ""okay, Tuesday then. And may I speak with the owner?"" ""The manager is here but he's very busy."" ""What's his name?"" ""Ted Shapiro."" ""The owner or the manager?"" ""Manager. Can I have him call you back?"" ""Oh that's okay. I'll hold."" - Long hold. - Armando came back: ""Ted is really busy. He'll call you back."" ""No, it's okay. I'll hold."" ""You're sure?"" ""Yes."" - Long hold. - Armando gets back on: ""Okay, your tech is coming tomorrow."" ""That's great! I'll hold for Ted."" - Long hold. - Ted got on, very angry, very belligerent. I started to tell him what happened. When I said, ""Lie #1,"" he got furious. He threatened to not give me the Saturday appointment. He said ""I don't lie! I'm too busy to listen to your story! I have other calls on hold. I gave you the Saturday appointment to satisfy you. If you're not satisfied, I can make it for another day. Any other day!"" ""No, Saturday's fine. We don't have to talk now."" He said ""I will call you back."" I made sure he had my number.
Ted called back - [amazing!] 5:29pm (12 minutes) still very upset. I calmed him down, and asked him just to listen to the chronology of what had happened so he could understand. He finally did. When I said, ""Lie #1"" he really took it personally. He yelled, ""I don't lie!"" and ""People are busy."" and ""People make mistakes."" I said quietly you don't lie, and Alyssa doesn't lie, and the people at Sears don't lie, but I have gotten a lot of misinformation, and I've relied on it, and when it doesn't happen, to me it feels like I've been lied to. For instance: And I told him about Alyssa, and the repairman coming in 35 minutes, and how she said she would tell him, and he said, ""Maybe she told me. I get a lot of information... Our order person was sick last week and wasn't in (LIE #? ...never mind I have no idea who lied here)... Labor Day... You know what the problem is? The problem is people don't want to work... Hire people. Have to train them... Nanny state..."" Heavy Russian accent. I let him talk for a long time. He calmed down. Ken comes Saturday
To be continued...

BEYON HORRIBLE - DO NOT USE
Buyer beware -especially if you are under a Sears policy.
Do not answer phones
Do not fix properly
Do not follow up
IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with

This company is a joke. They are nothing but a call center. My warranty company referred us to them and months later we are still trying to resolve a repair issue. They blame the warranty company, but they don't answer calls, they don't return calls and getting to get information from them is a joke. It takes weeks for them to even order a part! You are lucky if they send someone who actually shows up and if there is a problem rather than solve it, they just ignore you. If you are lucky enough to reach them, the folks answering the phone can't or won't answer questions to help you figure out what is going on. If your warranty company refers them, demand someone else. If you need a maintenance company, use someone else. I don't think they even own a screwdriver!!
Shame on you, AF Services. I don't think you even know how to spell ""Customer Service""
