total liars, they showed up to work on my dishwasher under warranty, they did not fix the problem but filed for payment with warranty company saying the job was completed, and when i asked for copy of work order they hung up the phone on me.

Technician showed up earlier than expected was polite and in quick to assess. Did not have to wait all day for the service person to show

Technician arrives, they call me and tell me there is no parking can you supply parking, I told them that i am not home and my wife with our newborn is home but may not be convenient for her to come down right now but to have the technician look for a few more minutes until my wife can come and open the gate and he can park. She told me that they have a 5 min window. I advised her that this is the 2nd time they cancelled on us, 1st time they didnt even show, and there is parking he may just have to park a little further away, its LA after all, your not always going to be able to find parking right in front of every building. I called her back a few minutes later and told her my wife will come down and open the gate and to have the technician hang tight. She said ok. My wife came down with our newborn and he had left. I called to find out where he was and they said he had left, it was passed the 5 min wait time. What makes matters worse is this was 12:05pm, and the entire side of our street was empty because it was cleaning day and cleaning services were over at 12:00pm. All he had to do was not be lazy, read the signs on the street, and do his job. Apparently thats too much to ask from this company, they dont care at all about their customers.

I wish I could give zero stars. This place has given me the absolute worst customer experience I have ever been a part of. This has been a issue for months now and they have been playing the we are only here to take a look game. The so called professional technician Mike was the worst I have experienced. He has visited the house a few times and has been Extremely Rude and Hostile not only to myself but my mother as well. I question his knowledge and professionalism as we recently had Sears come diagnose the problem and the told us something completely different than what the this guy had told us. It is sad that customer service has come down to this level but I promise I would not recommend using this companies service as you see how they treat their customers. And if you are using it through your insurance pick another place because this guy still hasn't submitted the claim to the insurance company. That type of service will not be tolerated!

This is the most terrible service experience I have ever had as a homeowner dealing with plumbers, appliance technicians, etc. AF Services have a quack, Mike, for an appliance technician who is cocky, strong-headed and doesn't know how to even take a microwave off the wall! He asked me to do that myself. I had to read the installation manual and take the microwave off the wall myself. And he can't keep seem to keep to a schedule. One time he just flaked and didn't show up on an appointment while I sat at home missing a day of work waiting for him to come and fix the microwave. I spent close to 60 hours to get the microwave fixed from them. And then he just left leaving the work incomplete saying you can put it back yourself. Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice dealing with since it was through a Warranty. But absolutely, the most terrible service experience I have ever had. STAY AWAY!!

This business (if that is what you'd like to call it) is absolutely the WORST appliance repair company with which I have dealt. I have had the same technician out twice to fix my refrigerator. It has stopped working three times. When I call, I am placed on hold for an inordinate amount of time and told that they are, after 18 days, still waiting for the ""magical"" part that will finally fix everything. It is quite ironic that that fridge worked fine for almost three weeks without the part. They refuse to send out a technician while my kitchen floor leaks AGAIN and my food spoils.
I believe that the only reason this place survives is due to super-low bids to serve as third-party vendors who sell us ""warranties."" DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE ALTERNATIVES is my best advice.

The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in a LONG TIME!
The A/C unit at my rental property went out. Our Home Warranty insurance company (TotalProtect) assigned AF Services to the original repair on 5/9/17. I submitted a claim for our A/C unit because it was no longer blowing cold air. AF Services came out and the report says they worked on the core valve and added Freon. 6/2017-Just over a month later the A/C unit was again not blowing cold air and there was little Freon left. AF Services wasn't available to come back out so TotalProtect assigned the job to another company. 10/24 & 25/2017 - Same issue again. AF Services is assigned to this problem again because they did not fix it the first time around. The technician is an hour late for his appointment time window and does not get to the rental unit until eight p.m. The Man's name is Carlos. This time he says he can't even add Freon because A/C unit is flat and that there's clearly a leak and he needs authorization to test for it. He states that he has to do a leak test which could cost thousands of dollars. He recommends replacing the unit because performing a leak test would be just as expensive as getting a new unit. I was later informed by another company that a leak test would probably only cost $300. He would not call TotalProtect to get any kind of authorization to get work started on the repair. He claims he has to submit his report to his boss who then works with TotalProtect. Carlos then attempts to charge me $100.00 for the diagnosis (despite my co-pay being $75.00) and I have to call TotalProtect to get them to confirm that I am not responsible for the co-pay amount because this is the THIRD time this issue has had to be addressed and they did not fix it the first time. They speak directly to Carlos and tell him I am not responsible. He does nothing and leaves our tenants in a boiling hot home. Customer service tells us that they can't do anything until the service provider submits their report despite the fact that they have declared the issue a medical emergency because of the extreme temperatures and two children being in the home. 10/27: AF Services refuses to issue their report because I didn't pay the co-pay that I was instructed not to pay by my insurance. AF Services holds up the process for repair even though the issue has been declared an emergency by the insurance company. Rep at AF Services also lies to me several times stating someone is sending in the report when no one did and will not let me speak to a supervisor.
They are a nightmare to deal with. A completely unscrupulous company with no sense of decency or professionalism. Why my home warranty company works with them is beyond me! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I can't speak to the quality of the workmanship because they never came and I never saw them, but the customer service, and office management is terrible and I had to ultimately choose another company.
To keep things brief:
Lowes assigned me this company for a fridge repair, and set up an appointment time for the next day at some point 8-4.
I took off work and waited all day. They did not show.
I called them, they have never heard of me and don't have my work order. ""We are about to close maybe call back tomorrow and see if we have it then, we probably just haven't checked our emails yet""
I call back the next day. ""I'm sorry sir I need a claim number."" Me: ""I wasn't given a claim number can you take my name or address or phone or anything?"" Them: ""Sorry sir I have to have the claim number I can't do anything for you without it.""
I call Lowes again: ""That's weird we don't give claim numbers to customers, let me call him"" (put on hold) ""Hi sir I talked to him and he forgot to print your work order and will be calling you immediately""
(hours pass)
I call Appliances Doctor for a 3rd time: ""I'm sorry sir I need your claim number I don't have it, I can't do anything""
At which point I called Lowes in order to be reassigned to another company.

Took 13 days to repair my A/C, had one no show without any explanation, This was through Sears home warranty. When they did come out they gave a 4 hour window and were late. When you call them they are totally incompetent and full of excuses. I am guessig they do not value Sears warranty work. Have complained to Sears as well.

AF services (AKA ""Appliances Doctor"") is an Unprofessional, incompetent, and irresponsible company.
Sears Home Warranty assigned us AF services to fix our broken AC. We called AF services to set up the appointment, and they gave us a 5 hour appointment window for the next day.
On the appointment day, we called them to make sure the tech was still coming since we've had problems in the past with other jackleg Sears contractors failing to show up on their scheduled day. They confirm that the mechanic will be coming sometime during the scheduled window and that they'll call us 30 minutes before they arrive.
By the end of the day, the tech did not call nor show up.
After the appointment time passed without any communication from AF services, We tried calling their office again, but they did not pick up. We called Sears to let them know what happened, so Sears called them to leave them a message. Finally - at 9pm - we got a call from the tech saying he can't make it out anymore that day, so we rescheduled for the next day.
When the tech arrived the next day, he said he can't do anything because he did not bring the equipment he needed. So he immediately left, presumably to get the necessary equipment, and said the office will call us to let us know what will happen next.
2 hours after he left, still no call from the AF services office. We tried calling them, but nobody answered. So we called the tech back directly to ask what was going on, and he said he'd call the office then call us right back.
After another couple of hours passed without a call back from either the tech or the AF office and with all of our calls continuing to go unanswered, the business day was now well over and the sun had already set. So we had to call Sears and ask them to assign us a different, competent company instead.
0/5. Avoid dealing with this company at all costs. If you are assigned this company by your home warranty provider, ask them to send someone else.
