I think I found my plumber. We just bought a house last year in flower mound and tried a couple of plumbers for different issues including a stopped up sewer.

John came highly recommended and we originally had him scheduled to come out to install bathtub fixtures. Then our drain stopped up and he came out immediately the next morning to fix the issue identifying what others had not that there was a hole in our pipe with a root growing through it.

24 hours later John had his out here digging up the pipe. They found some creative plumbing to say the least and identified 3 holes, making sure to fix everything the right way before closing everything up good as new. All of this for a VERY reasonable price.

I highly recommend John and his team.

Kitchen faucet leaking. He told me that I needed to change the sink faucet, so I asked if he could remove the faucet for me and I will install it once the parts arrived. (Note I am a petite and young woman of color) He replied, "You think you could do that? You'll probably break the entire structure." Granted, his skills might have been great, but the poor service will NOT be worth it.

Great customer service from John. I really enjoyed his work ethic and most of all, how nice he is. He likes to stay in contact with you as for example, the day he was supposed to show up, the weather turned ugly. He notified me asking if we could reschedule because he didn't want to track mud and dirt into our house. Now that's someone who looks out for his clients. Communication key in any business. You won't be disappointed if you use them.

John did a great job and his work was everything that I expected from the reviews. We had two outdoor spigots replaced, one of which was installed very poorly when the house was built. Not only did John replace the spigot and fix the bad previous install, but his masonry work to replace the bricks on our house that were removed while doing the job was excellent. He made a point to make sure that we looked over his work & were satisfied before he left. We will absolutely use Advanced Plumbing Services in the future.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Advanced Plumbing. Since my last experience with them in January, I booked them again. Not long after completing the appointment booking process, they cancelled my appointment. They said they were completely booked *and* my home was too far away.
I believe this was, at best, a case of them overbooking and looking to get out of it. My home and their office haven't moved since January, so it isn't too far away. And if they booked the appointment (via automated system - you get texts, etc.) then obviously they have the appointment available in the first place.
I would have preferred it be handled differently -- keep the appointment, but then inform me that it's too far for next time (if that's the case), or by keeping the appointment and taking steps to not overbook in the future.
The business owner does seem like a god guy and a well known plumber, but the running of the business is important, too, to keep customers happy.

The worse overpriced plumber in town, their looking to scam you , stay away, made the job worse than it was. There is too many other plumbers in town. Unethical is a good motto for them. These good reviews musts be family members.

John installed a whole house water filtration system for us and we couldn't be more pleased with his dedication and hard work. He took his time and when there were hiccups he never complained but did his job with a smile. In short, he is meticulous and expects nothing but perfection in his job. Lastly, he's very easy to talk to. He's open and honest with the work to be performed. We would highly recommend John!!
