Well, I hate having to write this review, but about a month ago, we had an emergency after hours with a cracked tank in our one bathroom toilet. We've used advanced plumbing a few times. Always pleasant and the guys were great that came out--they were here a few hours plus they picked up a new toilet. My struggle is (and partially my fault for not asking first), after the work was done, the bill came up to $1700 for 2-3 hours of work. I talked to the gentleman in charge a few times. He was decent about it and explained why the high price. However, After talking to various other companies in our town, and talking to neighbors and some buddies of mine, I realize we were charged HIGH. I wrote an email to the business with my disappointment and for some reconsideration, but I haven't heard back. Question?...should the business have given me a quote before the work was started? Or maybe because I was in desperation, I learned a hard lesson? Folks are telling me that averaged about $500 from what they charged me. Is that normal?
I hate giving a review like this. I'm giving 2 stars because the 2 young men were very kind. I sensed they felt a little guilty about the price, too.

This is suppose to be for ADVANCE PLUMBING and Rooter Service Co. in
San Ramon Ca. for Sherry and Fernando. Well... This review is long over due! I live 200 miles away (one way) from my rental unit. On June 21st 2022 I got a message at 3:10 pm in afternoon that the Hot Water Heater burst at my rental unit which is on the second floor. The messages started at 7:00 am. They let the water run all day!! Due to, in order to stop the flow of water to the unit the water to the entire building had to be shut down. Right NO individual water meters!! Although this was an emergency no one did the right thing. I work as a Cafeteria Cook at an Elementary school it's the last day of school and I work alone. After looking for Plumbers info & calling around no one was able to help my situation. Plumbers we're ready to call it a day, it's 4:00 pm. But when I called Sherry at Advance Plumbing she said, we can help you and that she had a serviceman in my area finishing up a project and that would be Fernando. Fernando was there within an hour. Fernando disconnected and secured the water lines and the water heater and reopened the water so the other units to the building would have water. Fernando returned the next day to finish the job.

Sherry and Fernando were my ANGELS on that day. THANK YOU!

Fast response, good communication, friendly and knowledgeable technicians, and solid workmanship. I needed to replace the a dipping/leaking old ball valve that is connected to my water softener. It was Thursday at about 1:30pm at the time. They were able to send out 2 of their technicians to my house in Livermore to look at the problem by 3:30pm. They came back the next day Friday morning at about 8:30am as they said with the parts and replaced all 3 ball valves and the surrounding copper pipes connected to my water softener. The pipes and ball valves connections are properly/perfectly done. Sean and Sesar did a wonderful job. Definitely recommend Advanced Plumbing.

We needed to get a plastic pipe replaced that had gotten a nail hole in it when our condo was built. This wasn't discovered until the Sheetrock hadron be removed die to a leak. Since the water was off there wasn't a huge emergency, however the contractors wouldn't start to put the dry wall back until it had been repaired. Fernando was sent out to do the work. He was a very nice young man, and he did a stellar job. He was efficient, and did a very professional looking job, and even cleaned up before he left.

The owner Bill is really responsive and gets down to the matter if need be, and really takes care of his customers!

His technician Cezar is also knowledgeable and knows his stuff. Several plumbing companies were used by the property management previously to inspect the leak on my shower handle and may have over estimated the repairs which was not needed. But Cezar with Advanced Plumbing came out to re-assess the issue and easily found out it was only due to a wrong knob handle and quickly fixed the problem at a much lower cost, I presume.

Definitely will recommend this company to anyone looking for a good service or honest repairs in the future!

In honor of #ServiceStarShoutOut, I would like to thank Advanced Plumbing & Rooter Service for doing some major plumbing work under our house. I will admit, this got to a rocky start, but after some back/forth, once we received a formal quote, we were ready to hire.

To back track, we called them a few months ago when our toilet started gurgling (it has been doing that for a long time, we'd snake it and be able to make it work). We were in denial that there was a problem, but eventually the gurgling was frequent and it was due to the piping underneath. The tech who serviced it did a great job, he hydro-jetted the line and found tree roots. He recommended there were some areas that needed repair work, so we held out for as long as we could.

Forward to last month, I followed up after my husband made some attempts. I finally received a formal quote and approved because the cost was competitive. We had to cut a hole in our front closet for access because the original access point was in one of the bedroom closets. Also, we had to have the ducting moved, so my husband did both of that in preparation of the work.

On the actual install day, everything went well and completed in one day! So far everything is working out well and it's just one less worry.

Our neighbor asked for their number and may reach out to them as well!

These guys showed up the same day I called and were very nice. Good service, fast work and fair prices, you can't ask for much more.

Unprofessional and rude company. They never provided a written quote and everytime they showed up the price increased by $5,000. They were suppose to call us an hour before they came back out and failed to that and then wondered why we would let them in.
I am going another company and advise you to avoid this company at all costs.
