I had a big time backup problem in my house... I called another guy to snake the system (granted I didn't have a clean out so he went thru the roof on the vent pipe) but after two tries at 120 feet he couldn't clean it out and didn't have the high end equipment.

So I got a referral to call Nick @ Advanced Plumbing and Drain, Inc..Nick is awesome because.....

1) He asked ALOT of questions to make sure he understood your problem.

2) His prices are very reasonable

3) He explains everything.. Even tells you (hey I'm going to take a pic of your pipes, then drags me to the street to show me as he's taking the pic) also says in advance hey, this might cost more because of unknown issues (and proves the unknown issues by dragging you to the street to take a pic)

Very honest guy. I'll recommend him 1000% very honest! And upfront!

And to tell you what he did.. (1) install house clean-out, my place is old (2) snake the hell out of the house and show me the camera why the snake didn't work (3) come out with the HydroJet and give my house an 'enema'... Yea that worked!

He's good. He's honest. Nuff said.. He will tell you the cost up front. Most honest guy I met.... There's only a few contractors I've kept over 10 years (I've fired more than I can remember) but this company is a keeper!!

With much research and many calls to different places, I was finally put at ease by Nick's calm and collective manor. With astute confidence and knowledge, Nick assured me that he could get the job done, and at a reasonable cost. (I also like that he quotes the price of the whole job, instead of as an hourly rate. You know what you're getting up front before he starts.)

His rates are really fair, and his assistant, Val, is a pleasure as well. They got right to work installing the new water heater that is in my attic. (Surprisingly for San Francisco, it was one of the hottest days here. The attic was really like a sauna, but they worked efficiently and quickly to get us back to a house with hot water in no time.) He/they also made sure to clean up any of the wrappers, old parts, and boxes when they were done. A class act! I trust Nick completely, and you should too. He's honest, and knows without a doubt what he's doing. I finally have the perfect plumber to tell all my friends about happily! I feel lucky I found him!:)

If you want a plumber who is conscientious, friendly, and responsible, who will actually teach and explain things to you, Nick is your guy. Now I don't need to approach our next plumbing upgrades with trepidation.

Nick is a blessing. I'm a mother whose water heater went out late in the evening. JUST WHAT I NEED. I called expecting to be forced into missing the next work day to have it taken care of. But Nick came out the night of, within an hour and a half, and repaired the water heater. He could have so easily bullied me into replacing the whole thing but rather, explained that a repair was possible, saving me a huge chunk of money. Right from the get-go I knew Nick was going to do a great job. Very bright, friendly and informative on the phone, and very prompt when arriving at my home to get the work done. He diagnosed the problem with my toilet (which had been plaguing me for a month) within seconds, made some small adjustments and was on his way out in no time. Now my toilet is in perfect working condition, finally!
