We had a few issues in our place after *years* of neglect and called APD; they had nearly immediate availability and sent Brian Russell, who was just great: kind, professional, generous with his time, and he took care of everything in less time than we'd have believed. (For those concerned about these things: he wore shoe covers and was masked the whole time).

He said it was all minor work and I'm sure it was, but his diligence and friendliness and affordability were such that if we ever have major work, he's the person we'll seek out. Highly recommended!

I needed someone to make a visit on a Sat. morning to check a leak under my kitchen sink and although Advanced was initially booked up for the weekend, they were able to send Gabriel, who was terrific. The visit itself is free. He was able to diagnose the issue right away, and had the equipment to fix it. It took a total of about 15-20 minutes. Such a relief and I will definitely use Advanced again!! He wore a mask and put on booties too, which I appreciate.

We called for a quote and same-day visit to unclog the p-trap under our shower after our son threw a block down the drain. :| Advanced Plumbing gave us a quote over the phone, and then Gabriel arrived almost an hour earlier than expected (after calling to check that that was okay). We were charged the low end of the quoted price range, and back in business after about 35 minutes. We would definitely call them again (instead of the dimwit our landlord usually sends)!

Brian at Advanced Plumbing is incredible. I had some sewage flooding my garage. Brian came out and very quickly determined where the clog was and easily cleared it.

Advanced wasn't the first plumbers I called. Other plumbers came out and struggled to figure out what was causing my sewer problems. One plumber quoted me $20k to change my main sewer line!

Brian's experience and intuition allowed him to truly figure what the issue was, without trying to stick me with a massive bill. High recommended!

We needed to replace a few water heaters since ours were getting up there in age. Gabriel from Advanced Plumbing and Drain came out right away to give us a written estimate. He was so quick and so thorough, so we asked him to take care of it and he did a great job.

The office manager was INCREDIBLE in keeping up in the loop on when the team would be at our place, as well as taking care of the billing for our repairs. She was super on the ball and very well organized.

Gabriel was highly-skilled, professional, and honest. He showed up on short notice to help us locate a leak behind a kitchen wall. He did clean work and kept the hole as small as as possible, explaining the problems and his decision-making process as he worked.
Even though we were desperate for help, he didn't try to take advantage of the situation (as other plumbers have). He gave us reasonable, transparent pricing.

Five-star service throughout. Our kitchen sink started leaking on Saturday night at 7pm. Not only did they answer our call on a weekend evening, but set up an appointment for the next day.

Brian showed up, mask-on with shoe covers (which we really appreciated). He was super knowledgeable, competent, and friendly. He took the time to explain to us what was going on and even took a look at an unrelated shower problem we had. While working to replace the pipes below our kitchen sink, he laid down a blanket so the tools wouldn't scratch our floors. He even made sure our dog felt comfortable, which was above and beyond.

Amazing service and extremely reasonable rate -- an overall positive experience. We'll definitely be coming back in the future for whatever plumbing issues might come up.

Called around to address a clogged sink drain. I'd done some legwork first (removed trap, ran manual snake through line) to make sure I really needed a pro before having to wade through all the suspect 5-star reviews to find someone capable and trustworthy. Other plumbers (including two I'd used before) either refused to provide any ballpark estimate, even if assuming a simple rooting with an electric snake was all that was needed, or provided crazy high estimates for simple rooting. Advanced didn't play these pricing games, provided fair prices (keep in mind, it's still SF), and provided an appointment for the next morning (1-hour time window, not 4!).

When Gabriel arrived, he was on time, very courteous, cleaned up the inevitable post-rooting mess, and super friendly to boot. Oh, and he fixed my problem quickly and efficiently! He noted things to do to avoid reclogging, pointed out a dent in the pipe that was a problem spot, quoted a very fair price for replacing the pipe, along with a couple other minor plumbing fixes I had him look at. Advanced will definitely be my first call for any future plumbing needs!
