My water heater's pilot light won't stay on. I described the problem and asked for a quote to multiple businesses. Nick replied with a possible solution and told me that he can come fix it on the same day, accommodating to my work schedule. Nick is very professional and great at explaining the work that he did. Requested a quote on Yelp, and Nick responded very quickly. He was able to come out to take a look at what needed to be done and give me a quote within just a couple days. I received quotes from 3 different businesses, and Advanced Plumbing was very competitive. Nick also really listened and gave great feedback about my project. Our hot water heater died. Nick came out right away since we were without hot water. He couldn't fix it on the spot because our hot water heater is made by Whirlpool. He had to special order the part from Whirlpool, no options for buying it locally. He dealt with calling them and getting it covered under warranty. It took a few days and then the part was wrong (not his fault) so he ordered the other one. Nick was on the phone for more than an hour on a Saturday morning trying to get the so called customer service people at Whirlpool to send him the part. He ended up having to make 3 trips to our house and spent a lot of time on the phone troubleshooting for us. He charged a very, very reasonable price for all of this.

Two things I learned from this experience. 1) Always call Advanced if you have a plumbing problem. 2) Never ever buy anything from Whirlpool.

They bid a kitchen drain clearing well under the quote from our legacy plumber, kept us updated on arrival time and did a great job in the end.
