Recommended Customer Reviews

Advanced did some repairs to my home a few years before I purchased it. The previous owner really complimented their work and professionalism. I have since contacted them for information and they have been very helpful. I definitely recommend them for any foundation repairs.

The initial sales pitch and promises were great. The actual foundation work went pretty well.
However, at the end the final leveling process was performed with a bubble level on the carpet and tile floor. They seemed to be in a great hurry to finish by a certain time.
We have since contacted them to have service warranty work done. At the "sales pitch" they informed that they would perform all warranty work free of charge, bring us extra dirt when it settled. Now, that we need dirt, they don't provide that and in order to have them look at the cement patches that need repair and are lifting, they can't schedule us until the middle of December and will charge a $75 service fee.
In fact, I received a letter in the mail today, stating, and I quote, "at the time of your appointment a warranty service fee of $75 will be due...if you do not pay the service fee the technician will not perform the inspection".
What kind of company sends out a demand payment letter for warranty work.
I would not recommend this company to anyone for foundation work. Just hoping they stand behind the work that is already done.

Work seemed satisfactory...time will tell. Dealing with the inept office is a pain. They refused to issue me a receipt for the work done. It shouldn't require an argument or threats to get a sales receipt from this business. I don't understand their bizzare attitude.

Advanced added piers to my home a few years back before i purchased it. We are now having additional issues and i called them to come out and take a look. First thing they said on the phone was that the warranty was NOT transferred so anything would be out of my pocket, oh and they wanted an estimate fee...no thanks

Refused to honor a warranty on their work. Because the previous owner never transferred the warranty originally, I did not have a warranty on work done by Advance Foundation Repair. My fault for not doing my due diligence but I believe a company should make it right on work performed regardless who is in the home. I have cracks in my walls and the doors are sticking.

My home in Fort Worth was settling and had foundation damage after 3 years of new construction. The repairs Advanced provided have been perfect going on 10+ years.

I bought a house that had had some work performed by advanced foundation repair. I am writing my review not necessarily because of their foundation work (i have not had that checked yet), but because of their transfer policy. All foundation companies for the most part have transferable warranties. Advanced Foundation Repair has written in their contracts that the warranty must be transferred from original owner to new owner within 30 days using their special form and you have to pay a fee, in my case almost $200. They also require certain closing documents to transfer the warranty. Let me ask this - why does it matter. The house is not going anywhere. Why does who the owner it matter. Here is what it is....a money grab. This is a another way that companies rip you off by doing some work and then doing everything they can to get out of standing by their work. Shame on them.
WARNING if you use this company please read all the reviews. They appear to be notorious for trying to get out of any work and blame everything possible except their incompetence. If you do use them make sure you are aware that even if it fails down the road (and you will know because the doors don't work like they used to or their are more cracks in your walls) they are going to charge you to come tell you it needs more work..which you already know. What a SHAM! What a SHAME!

DID NOT HONOR CONTRACT
In the contract Advanced Foundation Repair LLC, included in their scope of work to repour an entire 4 x 6 concrete porch that they were having to bust up to install piers. They did not repour porch, nor did they alert me to the problem, the crew just left and when I returned to the house had to call in to find out they had no intention of doing it. I was left in the lurch to find another company to do the work. Also, it was presented that the warranty transfer fee was $100 (as stated by the salesman and in contract albeit with small print text that allows for this to change), when it came to transfer the warranty the cost was nearly double. I think the work performed went well, but when it comes to having foundation work done you have a choice in companies and there are better ones out there.

Do not use this Company! If it was possible to give zero stars I would have. Had some cracks back in 2010 and they recommended piers on the southeast corner and northwest corners of my home. They told me to wait a few months for settling and then have interior cosmetic procedures and painting done. I waited 5 months. Within 3 months of completing my cosmetics and painting (huge expense) all of the original cracks were back and worse than before as well as new cracks in other parts of the home not previously affected. When the original work was done there was not an english speaking person on site so communication was a nightmare. When I called them to come out to look at the new damage they blamed it on drought and told me they would give me a written report. Never received it. I water my foundation religiously! I was told by another structural engineer that the piers they installed caused the additional cracks because they didn't shore up the entire house. I called again and had to pay $75 for them to check it again. When I asked him what caused all the cracking he said he didn't know. When I asked him why I couldn't open my back door (where a pier was placed on the initial repair) he said he didn't know. They measured and informed me it was totally level and would send me a formal report. That was 2 months ago and I haven't received it to date.
As a purchasing manager for a large metroplex city, I work with vendors on a daily basis. In my 25 years of dealing with contractors, I have not had anyone worse!! This company is unreliable, unprofessional and deceptive. The warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on. I plan on letting as many people as possible know about this companies poor performance. I will also let local insurance companies know as they often give references for these types of companies.
I'm sure legal action will be in my future plans!

Unfortunately, I felt forced to use Advanced Foundation Repair AGAIN for my home's foundation needs because the previous owner had used this company and I wanted to ensure the warranty would remain in effect for the next owners. If it had not been for that concern, I would definitely have not used this vendor and will recommend them to no one. As well, they are not Dallas BBB affiliated. I've had 9 years now of their incompetence and they didn't let me down with this recent work. Well, that was sarcasm..... they did let me down, but I must admit I expected it. Working with this company is a nightmare. They are only interested in selling you their services. After that, you are at their mercy for assistance. I tried for years to get this company to address additional movement we were incurring in our home. They always had an excuse as to why it was not related to the foundation. I believe they put me off for several years so the house would have enough damage to warrant additional concrete pilings and $$$$. By the time they agreed that additional pilings and a lift were required and some of the original pilings needed adjustment, my home's living room area (the center core of our home's overall interior support) had sunk three inches! Needless to say, I now have major renovations upstairs and downstairs (from damage that occurred while our home continued to move and shift) to go along with the recent foundation repair.
The repair........ I'll begin by saying that IF I had known how that week would play out, we would have waited until we had moved out before having this work done (we are planning to sell our home and move to another state within the next six months). First, we were told by their "salesman" (who, by the way, is no longer with the company...) that plastic would be used to cover the exposed doorways from other areas of the home to keep dust confined to the work area. THIS WAS NOT DONE! Next, because the majority of the work was being done inside our home, we had to move out for five days. We knew this going in, but what I didn't expect was that the FOREMAN, the person the company assured me would take good care of us, would be there with us throughout the whole process, would make us feel comfortable and secure that the work was being performed properly and that our home was in good hands, COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!! This is an absolute pet peeve of mine! You don't put people in charge of a job that can't communicate with the client!!! Their foreman knew just enough English to ask for the payments required and to say "call the office" when you would ask questions. Other than that, a lot of head-nodding up & down and pointing at the foundation diagram and that location in our home was the best we could hope for. We were totally unable to address any of our concerns while the work was being performed, and calls to the office were useless. There you get the bubble-headed receptionist who knows nothing and has been trained to "smooth things over." She's a great listener and promises she or someone in the company will get back to you, and then you never hear from her again - until you call back! Same with the salesmen..... since my salesman was now no longer with the company, his boss became our contact and once work began and payment was in hand...... no help from him either. No one cared that we had questions and could not communicate with the foreman! Well, as you can imagine, we returned home to what looked like a demolition site..... Every room in our lovely home and its furniture was now covered in an inch or two of concrete/dirt dust.
And, to make matters worse, after the lift is complete, you must then wait a few days for their plumber to drop by and test for any leaks before you can put your home back together. We lived with exposed concrete and all that dust for a week before our carpet could be replaced. We are now another week out and we are still struggling to clean every surface of our home and move furniture back to its original location.
Like I said....... had we known this would be the process, we would have waited until we moved out to have this work completed. And, if we had been in a position of choosing a reputable company to perform the work from the onset of the home's foundation issues, it would not have been Advanced Foundation Repair!
