Called for a shower leak. They came out and looked around and then said they had a family emergency and had to go. Gave them a couple of days out of respect and then followed up with the office and never heard anything back from anyone. Totally unprofessional and obviously they didn't want to do the job or couldn't do the job . Would give zero stars if possible - AVOID!

Had a tech come out for a quote. Never received the quote because the email they had on file had a typo. Called twice and spoke to a woman who seemed unable to focus on me spelling out the email or spelling it back to me. Just kept assuring me that my email was ""correct"". Attempted to get a refund for the deposit, but no one from accounts receivable ever called back. Then, someone called to schedule services, even though I had still not received a quote. By this time, I had another company come and do the work. This person who called, assured me the first woman I spoke to had been fired. However, after calling again for a refund of the initial 700 dollar deposit, she is the one who returned my call.

I challenged the charge on my credit card, but make no mistake, this company tries to drag out their refund past the 60 days from the initial charge so that you cannot dispute the charge to your card.

Stay away from these people! In my opinion they are manipulative crooks, out to fleece an unsuspecting public. I first called on the company to replace our tenant's failed garbage disposal. We had provided a new disposal for installation. The dispatcher refused to quote even a ballpark price, saying they ""charge by the job not the hour"". After jerking us and our tenant around for four days, their plumber arrived and tried to charge us $700. When we refused, he then angrily demanded $179 on the spot for coming out. My husband told him to send an invoice.

I then called another company (Clear Choice) and it was like night and day. Janette quoted $185 which included an environmental fee. Their plumber arrived when promised and we paid the $185 as quoted. No drama, just old fashioned customer service.

Swapping out a garbage disposal (which we have done ourselves many times) is a quick and easy job. The idea that they dare charge $700 and then grow belligerent is incredible!

Addario installed my water heater back in 2016 at the time the price seemed high but I figured you get what you pay for and they were recommended. The heater had a 10 year warranty. About a week ago the heater failed and I had water in my basement. Since Addario installed it and it was still under warranty, I naively thought they would be the one I should call. BIG MISTAKE. They charged $150 just to show up and look at it. They then proceeded to tell me the heater unit itself would be replaced but I would still have to pay for the installation. Ok, how much. The quoted over $1900. This was outrageous. They then told me the replacement would have a 6 year warranty but I could upgrade to 10 years for an additional $267. I told them I needed to get more quotes and sent them on their way. On the way out the door they tried to upsell me again for the additional warranty. I made some calls and eventually connected with the same plumber that worked on my bathroom renovation a few years back. He came the house without looking for a service charge, took down the info on the failed (but still under warranty) heater. An hour later he called with his quote $800. Mind you this plumber was licensed and well qualified and was replacing the unit with the same brand not a cheap model. I told him what the other quote was and his jaw dropped. He said that would only make sense if the heater was beyond warranty and I had to pay for a new unit not just parts and labor. It's clear what Addario was up to. Even though the unit was under warranty, they were going to charge me for a new one get the rebate from the manufacturer and pocket it. I'd call them thieves but at some level there is honor among theives. I wouldn't want to offend thieves by grouping Addario with them. Sadly they probably get away with this scam often by preying on unsuspecting customers. Otherwise, they wouldn't be doing it. Don't call them ever

One of the worst people to deal with. Do not back up their warranty, Over charge you for services, customer service is so condescending. Charge you extra fees for under hidden costs. My next stop is to report them at the dept. of the consumers affairs.

Not very pleased. My furnace died on Saturday, I paid them 300 dollars and they came Sunday morning and confirmed that the gas valve bit the dust. They signed me up for a new furnace quoted at 9600 dollars. I told them I can't afford that and got me down to 6200. I scrambled for 3000 deposit and gave it to them the next day and they said they would replace the furnace in 7 days. We called back and got them to move it up to 5 days. During that time they did provide some heaters while we wait. They installed the furnace Saturday and tried to make me give them the rest of the money that day, telling me to just put it on the card they have on file...I was caught off guard because that was not what was communicated to me during the assessment. I was told I would have more time to pay them. I feel taken advantage of and really do not like that. They can wait the stinking 3 days to get their money. I gave them 3000 and waited a week for a new furnace. Not please about that at all.

I've contracted with them for a furnace, mini split and water heater. They definitely charge top dollar, and so far, they've shown up and done what they said for the price quoted: replace a water heater. I knew the installation would take longer than planned, as I have an old house, but it was the next guy who got screwed. The big part, the furnace and mini split, are still ahead, and I have yet to commit to the loan and reading these reviews i will be very careful.

Had a horrible experience . We needed a air conditioning service . They quoted a price to come out and if there was anything that needed parts and labor would be extra ... okay so when they came they said a different story . Price they said was just to drive there . Then another price to assess . Plus the job that needed to be done was 2000.00 more than what actually was needed !!! Waiting for a refund on the over charge !
