Veteran Plumber 16 years experience 14 years with Action, gave me a quote for a particular model# of a Tankless water heater I noticed notation on the box stated that this was not the one that plumber promised me he was installing when I brought to his attention he told me that all models are shipped in the same boxes and to TRUST HIM! well he was dishonest about what he was installing and attempted to cover it up by moving the energy guide savings label that comes with product applying it over the top of the manufacturer's label covering up the BTU';s on the product. Action refuses to own up to their employees deceit BUYER BEWARE!!!
THIS PLUMBER IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND THE COMPANY STILL ALLOWS HIM TO INSTALL FOR OTHER HOMEOWNERS

We called Action Plumbing during a hard freeze last winter. We'd attempted to thaw a frozen pipe and were turned away or told that it would be several days, by s few other plumbing companies (they were all working on other frozen pipes.. very understandable), before they could make it out. By the time Action arrived we finally got the pipe thawed with no damage! The Action plumber checked out our pipe, said we looked good to go and wished us luck. My husband asked how much his call would cost, prepared to at least pay him for the house call, as many charge a fee just to show up and look at the problem. We were told, 'Don't worry about it, we're just glad it worked out'. When my husband tried to tip the plumber as a thank you he said to just pass along a business card if someone else needs help and to keep one for our future needs. We still have their business card on our fridge and very grateful for the prompt and awesome way we were treated.

I made an appointment first thing in the morning for a camera inspection. I called at 2:30 to see how our appointment was going and they said they would not make it and that they did not actually have a camera on the truck to do the job. I will never call again.

First of all these high ratings must be from family and friends! Lol My water heater went out and Action came out And gave me a bid of $2300 to replace a standard 40 gallon water heater ! Wow I thought that was insane so I got a few bids from Lees plumbing and Home Depot and they both were way below Actions bid! Home Depot was Around $1600 and Lees was under $1400 ! I understand company's charge more for the product like auto centers charge more for parts even though you know you can get the part a lot cheaper if you buy it yourself but Action trying to charge me over $1300 for the water heater ? I can buy one for under $500 and and the expansion tank they bid $500 when you can buy one for $60 !!! So I saved a $1000 going with Lees Pluming! So Action has lost my business for ever! This proves they are a greedy dishonest company! So beware people! Get other bids! Or just call Lees!!!

Not a fan. Diagnosed my furnace as needing a new flame sensor at over $400. Had another guy look at it, who cleaned the sensor in 4 seconds with a piece of steel wool, showed me how to do it myself if it acts up in the future and went on his way without anything more than a small diagnostic fee. I appreciate honesty, and I don't feel like I got it with Action.

We were very disappointed with Action. When our A/C went out during the over 100 degree temperatures week, we called and were told it would be 1-2 days until someone could take a look at it. Seemed reasonable at the time, however everyday they would call and say they weren't going to make it, but we were on the list for tomorrow. This continued throughout the week until they informed us they weren't going to make it that day and would be closed over the holiday weekend, putting the possibility into next week. Our aggravation stemed from the lack of honesty on when they would be able to come. If we knew it would be over a week, we could have easily called around to see if another company could come sooner. With this frustration, we contacted SameDay Heating & Air. The tech arrived less than 2 hours after we called. Will continue to use them in the future.

Back on June 1st 2015, I purchased the following on KSL Deals: Complete Preseason A/C Tune-Up - by Action Plumbing, Heating & Air. I have tried a number of times to get them to my home to complete the Tune-up and have yet to receive the service. 1) Appointment was canceled by Action Plumbing because of other emergencies 2) Appointment was canceled by Action. 3) I was informed that Action would call 30 minutes ahead of them showing up to confirm that someone was home. I received a call from the technician when he was at my home and I was not there. There was also no call the day before to confirm the appointment and specify what time the Technician would be there. I was asked by the Office if they could come by later that day and I informed them that I would be home till about 3:00pm then I was leaving the state on vacation. 4) The Technical called me from my home just after 4:00pm wanting to know where I was. As stated earlier, I left town at 3:00, which I had notified the office I would and they still sent someone over after 4:00 looking for us to be there.

When I spoke with the office to schedule the appointments, I was informed that I should go about my day as I normally would and that the technician would call me about 30 minutes before arrival so that someone could be there. This never happened. I was only called by the technician when they were at my residence.

After 4 attempts to have my air conditioner serviced and all of the appointment canceled by Action either because of technicians not being available or them just showing up at my home hoping that somebody is there, I have requested a full refund through the KSL Deals website.

I'd like to review the quality of work done by the technicians of Action Plumbing and Heating but my experience with the company never made it that far. See, I just wanted a tune-up for my 3 year old AC system. I called on June 30 and was scheduled for July 9. Thirty minutes before the scheduled appointment time, their dispatcher called to say that due to a high volume of customers without cooling capabilities they wouldn't be able to make it out to my house that day. Okay... that's reasonable. So I rescheduled for July 14; 2.5 hours into the 3 hour appointment window, they called AGAIN and said they wouldn't be able to make it because of a high volume of emergency calls. I understand emergency calls but at some point it's BAD BUSINESS to keep putting off the non-emergency requests for service. I wound up just cancelling with them altogether. I'd like my system serviced sometime before snow flies again.

MOSES SANCHEZ this is no way to run a business. BBB has given you an A+, but my experience this past week lands your business in the ""F"" category. We've used you in the past - even had you replace both my aged heater and air conditioner 3 years ago. You replaced my hot water heater a few months ago without issue. Under normal conditions you seem to be staffed appropriately, however, when things start to break down and the calls start to pile up, everything seems to completely fall apart. I hate hate hate having to write this review. But after calling your office last Tuesday about my failed blower motor, and getting zero response (it's now Monday July 6), I'm more than a little put out. Everyday it's the same story - ""can't promise but it looks good for today"". Then around closing time we get a call telling us ""sorry, but there was no way for us to get to you today... probably tomorrow"". And so it goes. I'm told I'm a ""preferred"" customer. If this is how you treat your preferred customers I hate to think how you treat everyone else?! I could never get away with this outrageous customer service in my business. I'd be fire tomorrow. To make it worse, I'm stuck. My A/C is under warranty with you, so if I use a different business to fix it, I run the risk of invalidating my warranty.

I had a neighbor who is in the same business come take a look to see if he could diagnose the problem. He narrowed it down to the blower motor, and opined that those motors don't usually burn out in the first 3 years. Upon further inspection, it appears that the heating unit may not have been installed properly - not enough air flows around the motor to keep the temperature within mfg specifications. So unless we resolve the airflow issues we'll likely see another motor failure in 3 years. I'll have a Rheem technician come take a look and give me an independent opinion on the root cause, and a proper solution (assuming there's a problem to fix). After reading multiple people basically complaining about the same issues, is it any wonder that your client base no longer trusts you?

I wish I could tell you what kind of work they do, but unfortunately I can't. I can tell you that they promised same day service, it was a lie. They called late the first afternoon and said it would be the next day, that was another lie. On the second afternoon I was told it would be at least week. I will not be lied to a third time. Do not fall for their false promises. Call someone else.
