Just an update on my awful experience with Action Plumbing. My AC worked fine last summer, but I wanted it ""tuned up."" After Action telling me that their is a leak somewhere in the AC unit and it would be $700 - $100 to fix it. They recommended that I replace it with a $4200 AC unit that they have on sale- what a joke. I got a HONEST AC guy to come out and he noticed that the issue is that the furnace installation pad was up against the fan causing the issue. Seriously? Action does a 50 point inspection- BS! ACTION DID NOT INSPECT MY FURNACE PROPERLY- THEY DID AN AWFUL JOB AND THEY LIEDDDDDDDD. The AC guy added a charge to my AC unit and for less than $200 that ""other AC guy"" charged me. I am a happy camper. Seriously Action??? I tell EVERYONE about my experience.

So, the saga continues.... They told me they would give me a refund on Monday, it is now Friday. I have called in three more times and they said every time, we will have ASHLEY call you back she is our manager, she will help you out and get that refund to you ASAP.
Super funny that they commented here below, contact us so we can make this right... This place is an awful joke. Pathetic.
Since then, for those of you out there who are looking for someone who is a reputable place, we have used Whipple and they are awesome, they came out, put a huge rug down, put on booties, spent 1 hour with us explaining to us all the options we had and not once trying to pressure us to buy anything. After my husband and I discussed everything, we had them replace what we needed. Previously when I had called, they came out the same day as called and the next day had it all installed. Super professional, kind and courteous, and on a small note here, the people who lived here before us had Action Plumping and Heating put in the AC and they cut corners, not using enough wiring, put in the pipes all half as*ed into the furnace, and Whipple did not have to fix any of that, we didn't pay for that, but they did, they fixed it all. They had to cut a small hole in the wall where it should have been put the first time around and had a construction team come out and fix it. I mean... talk about kind and going the extra mile (That they didn't have to do by the way.) Whipple is amazing, Action Plumping and heat is a joke, they lie, give you the run around. Do not give a crap about good customer service, that's pretty obvious.. my husband is a professor for a local college here in Utah and also teaches for several universities online and will be using Action Plumping and Heating as a poor example of customer service in his lectures. So pathetic. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR SURE!

We called in to Action to have an AC tune up, which includes according to their website:
Check condenser oil
Check electrical connections for tightness
Adjust system for optimum cooling
Check for oil and refrigerant leaks
Check safety devices
Check blower belt wear, tension, and alignment
Check expansion valve and coil temperatures
Replace standard size air filter
Check refrigerant level
Lubricate as needed
The tech Jimmy came out and said, let me look at your Furnace first, then he took the front panel off and pulled out some dust and said, this furnace is very old and needs to be replaced, so he explained to my husband what we needed done and he called a friend of his on the phone and scheduled a guy to come out Monday at 8:30AM to give us a bid for a new furnace.
He didn't even lay one finger on the AC unit and still charged us 59$ for telling us we needed a new furnace. I called in and talked to Alexis just now and she said she has to talk to her manager for them to get me a refund. So I will be calling my bank on Monday to reverse the charges. This place is a totally joke and pretty decietful, charging me for servicing my AC until and not even laying one finger on it, and all he did was tell me I need a new Furnace.

If I could rate less than one star I would.
I began on the phone with them at 9:12 AM and after guarantee and your guarantee promise after promise last one being a three to 5 o'clock window they called at 5:18 to say they're expecting to be here by six !
I don't understand how a business feels that my time is so unworthy of honesty and respect and if it wasn't so hot in my house I would tell them to not come and I would start over with a different company tomorrow
Actually I'm so frustrated I decided to call and tell them not to bother to come at this point and I willing to be uncomfortable rather than have this company come to my home

Warning- My experience with action plumbing! We just had them bid out 2 separate jobs for us, one for Gas, one for all of the plumbing jobs. First... They didn't even show up for the first two appointments, then said they'd give us 10% off our entire job because of the inconvenience. But denied that later.

The first bid that came in was really high and they said it was 5k higher than what they thought because of the extensive underground work we needed. After we found out that work didn't need to be done we called back and let them know, they clearly weren't happy.. I was then told it would only lower the job by 300$!

Ok.... We then told them we also didn't need them to do the 5k in gas lines but all the plumbing still. Later that day we received a call stating that since we aren't doing the gas lines our bid just increased by 4k!

I called for days trying to talk to a manager, finally today I got a call back from the manager who after 10 min just kept saying ""I can't tell you why he charged that or I don't know why it's that much money, it's probably just service fees"" then all of a sudden the call was lost.. I called back and was transferred back but instead of the manager they had the plumber take the call posing as the manager, he was very rude, said multiple times ""I told you"" or ""when I was there"".. so totally blowing his cover considering I never met the manager. He was very heated, angry and talking over me and said ""if you don't like my prices why are you even calling me, go somewhere else"".

As a business owner I'm beyond disgusted. I was warned by a few to not use them, I'm glad I didn't!

I was a big fan. Fast and friendly service on a new furnace install. They gave me a good price for being a long term customer. After the install they said they would call to collect payment because they didn't have the exact price. They called to get credit card number, expiration and security code. A couple of days later over $5,000 of unauthorized charges were made to my card. These people are thieves. Do not allow them into your home!

Called Action Plumbing to diagnose a blockage. We had the tub and toilet back up at the same time. We thought it might be a main breakage. Action came out to try to clear the blockage but couldn't. A very disappointing part of the service was that the technician damaged the wall of our bathroom that we just had completely remodeled. When we called customer service they said someone would be out to fix the wall. No one ever called or showed up to fix the damage. We paid $425 payment for them to come back the next day with a camera. The next day they showed up, without the camera! They did clear the blockage, but just enough for us to use for that day. It was enough time for us to find another plumbing company. I feel it was dishonest of Action to have us pay them for a service that they didn't give us. My tip would be get an itemized estimate. But, I do not have much faith that you can get money back if they don't perform the services they say they are going to do.

Absolutely horrible. First it took 2 weeks to get a plumber to come out and they failed to show up when scheduled had to reschedule. The plumber who did finally show up was friendly and thorough but their quote for a new water heater and regulator was very high. Called around the next day and got same make and model of water heater plus regulator for less than half the cost. Bunch of scam artists over there!

I gave this A star because the older man who came out for the 4th time to install our furnace was fantastic. The air duct guy didn't clean the air ducts, the first guys to install my furnace did a poor job. I called them to discuss these issues specifically asked that they call ME instead the air duct guy just drops off our check for the air ducts. Clearly management isn't interested in listening to this today went wrong so they can fix them in the future. Do not use this company I'm out 3800 $ for a new furnace.
